if you do fall through a portal, we could possibly convince the culprit (probably control, maybe FATE) or someone to bring him, too. they usually don't like sending people back before some time has gone by, but dragging another person through isn't a huge deal.

The one who acted nothing like the man who is currently Head of Research and has always been, according to everyone else's memory. Jesse slowly realises and comes to terms with the fact that the Dr Darling in The Oldest House is an imposter, or at the very least not the original Dr Darling, and reality has been changed to reflect the switch. It's like the original never existed, like this new version has overwritten the old one.

I dunno if anyone else has seen those tiktoks of young parents who raise their baby with a bunch of friends but I just suddenly saw Danny with baby!Ellie and his classmates all having fun caring for this baby along with their families all helping out,,,, I imagined that the class find out Vlad is somehow the other parent and even after Danny outs himself because Yeah No he is Not letting them think He did That to Him they run him out of town by becoming a mob of teenagers who even the police realize they can’t do anything about and so Lancer becomes co-mayor with someone else whilst also maintaining his position as a teacher… I recognize most of this is nuts and I dont even have any ideas on Jazz or their parents but like… the class having fun with the baby in school! Ellie is a distraction, yes, but Danny cannot handle her being left with anyone else (yes this was actually my plan for why she’s in class) so they all just- adjust and attendance has never been greater plus grades have gone up cuz morale and even bullying has gone down… Ellie does a lot to help Casper High before she even has memories and Danny knows even if something happens with the portal and the Zone again that Ellie will Never be alone or unloved or uncared for…

I just realized something rewatching the movie and thinking of it in context to your version, the whole ‘quartet’ bit is much more horrific. Harvey would be freshly dead. Not the squishy, got my ectoplasm together, like Casper and the Trio, he just died… Which means when he comes back to the house… Poor Kat. It must be already terrifying experience to know that your dad died m, but to actually see the damage? Whooooo boyyy.

Freshly dead spirits are the worst. Looking at them is just... eugh... Never a pretty sight to behold. Depending on the cause of death, but either way not fun! 😁
