I'm totally normal about two wildly different depictions of a fictional hedgehog, both aged 30 years old. Not like I need therapy, or a life, or a boyfriend or anything. Nope, definitely normal behavior for someone my age. I'd like to thank @sonikkublue and @teamchillidogs for creating these funky guys and to @donelywell for making wholesome fanart of Mr. H and Miles that tricked me into looking for more content. *Slams head onto table* Okay, I have ideas, I don't have my notebook, and I'm going to write them down here because AUGH

Under the cut, I'm rambling about the Icebound and Once Upon a Witchlight section of the "The Misadventures of the Mysterium Incorporated" AU. Not much in terms of spoilers, but it is talking about character changes for the AU.

Let's start: Once Upon a Witchlight.

So, we all know, Kremy's a conman, very fitting and suited for his character. I'm not changing that, he's still a conman. But, what place is the most luck based, scam induced, possible front for cons? A casino. In this AU, Kremy is a casino owner on Karkinos. Location prone to change, but he would at least start in Karkinos. He runs a casino, "Casino Lecroux", and generally follows the rules in this universe. Because, damn. He took a while to built this up, and it is working.

Gideon's his right hand. Head of security. I tried to separate them, tried to figure out a way (highly possibly to do so), but was it fitting? No. Kremy and Gideon are a hardcore packaged duo. Gideon was found by Kremy, they conned and schemed, and now, Gideon is right beside Kremy in Casino Lecroux. Right hand, there for security and safety. He's on call when shit goes down with some drunks or anyone who decides that they want to attack the workers.

Speaking of workers: Gricko and Hootsie! They work underneath Kremy, Hootsie with the bar and drink orders (surprisingly, as long as Hootsie's fur has been cleaned, she's compliant with code), while Gricko works a card table. Mainly poker, but sometimes other card tables as well. Much to Kremy's surprise, Gricko has found that a tournament styled table works in cashing in more for the casino (the cut is a bit larger, but winner takes all type of deal, the casino breaks even at least with Gricko on the cards). It's this type of knowledge that keeps Gricko around, and Hootsie is a really good deterrent of drunks fighting.

Now, Frost is a little different. He didn't end up in Karkinos. Or, rather, he didn't end up staying in Karkinos. He traveled on a ship, once he had enough money, to get to Barghest, his goal to get into the Misthallery University in Breeg. While it took a bit of research, he eventually found a way to learn and still get paid: Underneath one named Professor Clara Lonley. It didn't take much convincing at all, with Frost's background in The Order and being a tabaxi, he's worked under Clara for a good while now, even invited to her wedding in becoming Lonley-Azran the year after he started working under her.

Torbek... I haven't given much thought to Torbek, if I'm being honest. He could work at the casino, he could end up somewhere else. I'll need to dedicate some time to where Torbek may be.

Next up: Icebound

Jornir still travels in Mamut, helping those that he can and will. Nothing's stopping him, it's just part of his life. He does go out and explore the world a bit from time to time, but most of his time is spent traveling Mamut and taking care of his people there.

Barnabos has already been referenced to in Caprice's story (at least, his mom has been), he still ships and hunts sea beasties, occasionally stopping at different ports to refuel and whatnot. To the right people, he is an on-call sea monster killer, but those are few and far between. He will travel alongside commercial ships through rough/deadly waters, however.

Queenie travels around Yona. She doesn't stick at home, or really stick around home in general. She travels across the plains of Yona without much else other than herself, her arrows, and her bees. What she does on the plains of Yona, very few know. She keeps in contact with select few people (her family and the occasional friends). She is still very friendly, don't get her wrong, it isn't a ruse. However, her line of work is more... Vigilante-esque than anything. She figures out you've broken the law in some way, she'll make sure you pay for it.

You know what happens to Taishen, he's story ends up with him on Barghest with Mei Li.

Skrimm... Oh boy, Skrimm. At first, nothing is entirely.. Known about Skrimm. He's a babysitter for Mei Li when Taishen is out doing jobs, occasionally tagging along with Taishen (whenever Mei Li and Frost go), getting paid a quick buck and food for helping out. But, what he does for a living? What keeps food on the table? Well, not only being paid from babysitting, he's a dog fighter. No, not in the way you would think (he doesn't fly aircrafts, nor did he own a dog when beginning), but in a different way. He's called a dog fighter due to his size being small, going against much larger targets. while actually dog fighting is illegal (as is this type of street fighting), not a lot of people bet on him, so he ends up getting paid more when he wins.

That isn't all, however. Graveyard Jack is still a major part of his life. The cursed coin still weighs heavy in his pocket. However, Skrimm's background isn't the same. He found Graveyard Jack, swindling him out of the coin, yes, but once Jack saw his fighting ability... The contract dropped. Skrimm isn't a warlock, no, he's a rouge with a hellhound by his side that listens to his commands. He found Jack after he became a dog fighter, but damn, outside of an illegal underground, they're a damn good duo.
