Peach Part 1 of 2 (Rafe Cameron Two Shot) +18

+18 Minor DNI
📖 Rafe has a thing for his dad’s sugar baby (reader)
🪄 Warnings: somnophilia (lol), secluded yet public oral, cheating, swearing, degradation, name-calling, pet names, oral (fem. receiving), oral (male receiving), ownership kink, reader’s a sugar baby, rough sex, nipple play, choking, creampie, & cum play, no use of y/n but everyone refers to her as the pet name Peach, softish rafe but he’s kinda mean here and ther
✨ Fuck, she’s arm candy – the perfect little accessory for my old man. And he’s lovin’ every second of the attention he’s pullin’ from every ancient perv here. This has got to be some mind-numbing shit for her. She gives one of the old men a fake giggle, resting her small manicured hand on my dad’s breast pocket, her head softening on his shoulder. With that I feel a little spark in me… something I haven’t felt in a while. Jealousy? Maybe. Not for long at least. I pull my phone out of my pocket, sending an invitation. ✨

Reader’s POV:
“I mean it is a little much for Midsommers, Peach, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Ward gives you a cheeky smile as he unwinds a little more on the dressing room couch, eyes combing over your curves from the reflection of the mirror. “I love dressing you up, princess. Love showing off my little doll around the fellas. Can you blame me? You’re flawless.” He winks and smiles as he lifts his champagne flute to his lips, taking a sip.
“Thank you. I love it,” you praise, running your hands down the delicate black satin, purposely running over the fullness of your breasts, guiding his focus off your eyes. “I think this will go really well with those black Jimmy Choo pumps you bought me.”
Ward smiles and shakes his head ‘no’ as he crosses his strong arms over his chest. “Do you think I’m going let you re-wear a pair of date night heels, baby? We need to buy you somethin’ new. You deserve it. Very sweet for you to be mindful of Daddy’s pocket,” he lauds as he taps the wallet tucked into the pocket of his designer blazer. “That’s just one of the many, many reasons you have my heart, sugar,” Ward mumbles as he rises to his feet, eyes trained on your body. “That, and the fact that I just can’t believe you’re mine,” he mumbles before his lips meet your neck, kissing gently as he works his way to your ear. “I love takin’ care of you.” You tip your head slightly, resting your cheek against his, the two of you matching each other’s gaze in the mirror.
“We look good together, Cameron,” you coo. He wraps his arms around you, kissing your bare shoulder before resting his chin on top.
“I’m the luckiest man in the world, Peach. This looks so pretty on you. You’re stunning. You probably need something just as pretty underneath. Don’t you agree?”
You nuzzle into his cheek, making him chuckle warmly. “You spoil me, daddy… Of course, I agree. Something pretty you can take off me later,” you flirt, just stoking the fire.
“Baby girl…” He gushes, the apples of his cheeks reddening.
“Sorry… I can’t help it.”
“No, baby. I love it. Oh, I booked a hair and nail appointment for you, so I won’t see you until you arrive. I have to be at the Island Club a little early. You can just catch a ride with Rafe. I’ll meet you at the car and we can walk in together. Alright?”
You fix your face, trying your best to seem unfazed by even the mere mention of his son’s name.
Rafe Cameron…
Truthfully, I was about to make my move during parents’ weekend. Then, I laid eyes on Ward. Rafe’s old man… handsome, sweet, thoughtful. It was too hard to pass up the chance to be taken care of. And, taken care of I was. Student loan debt canceled, school-year paid in cash, trips, lavish dinners, anything and everything his little Peach wants she gets. But even with all of that, I can’t help but be drawn to Rafe. I still get butterflies when he passes me on his way to class or when he looks my way in the library.
Even after I got with Ward I’d still try to finagle my way into staying on campus for the weekend so I could hit up a house party or bump into him at the bar. Ward made sure that didn’t happen, pleading with me to spend most of my free time at Tanneyhill. Ward is so sweet when he begs. And, how can I possibly deny the man cutting the checks?
“Peach? Is that okay? He seemed pretty happy about getting to know you a little better,” Ward smiles as he fixes the strap of your gown.
“No, Daddy. It’s perfect.”
Tumblr media
You look down at the vanity, watching your phone buzz. Your heart skips a beat as you see his name written across it, causing the usual butterflies to swirl. How would this play out? What would Rafe say?
To the rest of the family I was just some girl; maybe someone Ward picked up at the country club or some overpriced boutique downtown. Sarah and Wheezie were too unbothered to care. How would Rafe take this? Would he even recognize me?
The buzzing stops, pulling you out of your daze as you watch the incoming call shift to missed. Shit. Headlights beam outside as Rafe’s large truck rolls up the drive just as your phone dings. Voicemail – Rafe Cameron You lift the phone to your ear, hearing that familiar voice.
“Uhh… Peach? It’s Ward’s son, Rafe. I’m out front if you’re ready to head out. Don’t know if you need a few more minutes or whatever. Just let me know.” BEEP. The message ends, the eldest Cameron’s tone short and uninterested. Maybe he knows who I am and truly doesn’t care.
You look down at your body, wrapped in a pretty pink robe; dress still hanging up in the corner of Ward’s room. It had been a long day of shopping and pampering, leaving you late. The muffled sound of Rafe’s truck door kickstarts your heart. You unfasten the bow around your waist, letting the material fall off your body and onto a puddle on the floor as you hustle toward your gown.
You step into the number, stumbling slightly; looping the delicate straps over your shoulders before smoothing out the front.
KNOCK. KNOCK.
“Umm… One second, Rafe,” you call.
“Of course.” You hear his deep voice in person, making you suck in a nervous breath. Reaching behind your back you struggle for the zipper, craning your wrist to get it to close. “Uhh… You need some help in there?” Rafe asks, making your eyes widen as you stand in front of the mirror again, looking back at yourself dumbly.
Of course, I want his help. I’m sure if I struggle a little more I could get it to word. But do I want to?
“Rafe,” you call out his name, voice broken with nervousness. “I could use your help.”
Tumblr media
Rafe’s POV:
What the actual fuck. I stand behind her, eyes falling down the length of her bare back to her open zipper. Nothing but soft skin and satin; the small zipper resting just below her g-string. I’ve gotta move slowly. No way I could step out from behind her like this. My hard-on pushes against my dress pants, straining the zipper. I let my fingers trail her skin ever so slightly, tugging the material together reluctantly before pulling it closed.
I had no idea it was going to be her when she accepted my offer… Lucky me.
“How are you, sweetheart,” I mumble from behind her, catching her gaze in the mirror.
“Umm… I’m good. How are you?” She asks sweetly.
“Great. I’m fine,” I hum, not moving from my place behind her, ambling a little closer. I can’t fucking help myself. Her lashes flutter at the closeness between the two of us. “Just came from campus.”
“Yeah? Umm… We go to the same school,” she starts, like I wasn’t painfully aware.
“Yeah. Yeah, we do. I know exactly who you are. And you and my dad are-”
“Dating?” She answers, her calm demeanor veiling her shame, just a sliver of it still peeking through. “No. We’re friends? Companions… I-”
I let out a raspy chuckle, saving her the strain as she flounder in front of me, panic painting her beautiful face. “Nah, Peach. I understand,” I smirk. She lifts her eyebrow, letting out an airy laugh herself. “He’s battin’ way out of his league with you. I must say.”
I lean in a little closer, letting the warmth of my voice fan across the column of her neck, making her head fall back slightly as she tilts closer. My large hands rest on her hips, all my primal urges pushing me to bend her over, hands on the glass, dress around her hips, my fat cock fucking in and out as I watch her go absolutely dumb on my dick. But I resist.
Why the fuck are you with Ward? You’re too beautiful… You’re only wasting your time with my old man. What is he givin’ you that I can’t? Money? Is that what you’re after, babydoll?
Good thing I have that too.
Tumblr media
“Nice to see you, man,” Kelce smiles as he pulls me in for a half-hug, cutting off my view of her. I pull him to the side, giving me the perfect sightline.
Fuck, she’s arm candy – the perfect little accessory for my old man.
She looks down, eyeing her clutch as she feels the rumble of her phone. Her eyes lift, catching mine like she knows exactly what’s to come, without seeing the message at all. I give her a knowing nod as I stroll away.
In a room full of people she knows just where I am. She’s got her eye on me. Atta girl.
Reader’s POV
Well… if there was any question if that text was from Rafe or not that nod answered my question. My excitement leaves a steady pulse between my thighs as I try my best to act normally. He’s trying to get me alone.
“I’m going to run to the restroom,” you whisper in Ward’s ear, kissing him gently on the cheek before wiping some sparkly gloss off his stubble. He gives you a little pat on your bum and a wink.
“Gonna finish up this conversation, Peach, and I’ll find you. M’Kay?” He hums. “15 minutes tops.”
“Of course,” you smile, nodding quickly before excusing yourself, nabbing out your phone as you step toward where Rafe was headed, rushing to read what he had to say.
Tumblr media
Holy shit.
Your phone glows as you reread the text messages sent by Rafe wandering down the hallway as you take in each word, considering your options. Am I doing this? Should I turn him down? Let him know he read this all wrong? That he’s overstepping-
“There she is,” you hear his low voice from behind you. His large hand wraps around your arm, tugging you back fast, pulling you into the dark room before slamming the lock shut.
“Rafe?” You gasp just as his lips collide with yours, the two of you running high on adrenaline; teeth clashing, tongues rolling. Your long nails scratch through the hair at the nape of his neck, making him moan into your kiss as he backs you against the wooden door.
“Didn’t even take any convincing to get you back here, baby girl. What do you have to say for yourself?” He mumbles against your lips as he paws for the bottom of your dress, bunching it up higher and higher.
“Rafe. I-”
“Doesn’t fuckin’ matter, princess. You want me. I need you. Bet you’re so fuckin’ wet for me. You gonna let me check?” He rasps, catching your moans between his lips.
“Y-Yeah.”
“Tell me, baby. Tell me what you want,” he taunts as his lips brush yours, his rough fingers grazing the soaked spot on your panties.
“I want you, Rafe. I want your… Fuck. I want your fingers,” you whimper, starting small, knowing full-well he’ll talk you into more; just making yourself feel less guilty about the whole ordeal by asking for the bare minimum like that even matters.
“Just my fingers. Huh?” He teases. Not buying the angelic ruse for a moment. “You don’t want my lips, doll? You don’t need my cock?”
“Shit,” you whine as your legs draw together; his filthy words fillling you ear, drunk off the taste of his lips, just thinking about more. Rafe grips your thighs, opening you up further before pressing his fingers against your sex. Your head falls back, knocking softly against the door as a drawn-out moan tumbles from your lips.
“Did that get you a little excited?” He chuckles, darkly against your neck, licking and nipping at that special spot that has you whimpering like a pathetic slut.
“Yeah.”
“Yeah, what?”
“I got excited, Rafe… I haven’t stopped thinking about you,” you whisper.
“Mhmm… Haven’t stopped thinking about me and my fingers?” He bullies as he lifts you into his arms. You wrap yours around his neck, lessening the space between you further, your wetness surely transferring onto his white button-down as your legs wrap around his trim waist.
“Yeah,” you stammer, making Rafe suck his teeth and smile against your mouth.
“Stop trying to be a good girl, princess. I know what you are,” he growls. Your heart falls, breaking slightly as he hits you with the truth; Rafe opening his mouth before you can even defend yourself. “You want money… I want you. I can take care of you in more ways than one. I promise that. Got more money than him. I’m a better fuck. Let me prove it to you, angel. I know you’re a slut for cash alright. So am I. The game sees the game alright? But, you probably need proof… Let me fuck this pretty pussy, ma. Show you how much better off you’ll be with me. I wanna be your daddy. Aight? Not him. Not Ward. Rafe.”
You draw a deep breath, head spinning as he lays you back on the locker room couch. You claw for him, desperate for Rafe’s lips on you again. Rafe rips away your little lace panties, spreading your thighs before eyeing your glistening slit with a hungry groan. “Tell me what you want. You can speak. Can’t you?” He snaps impatiently as you fumble over your words. “Words.”
“You-”
“Fuck it. I can’t wait – need your pussy.”
“S-Shit,” you whine. “Just – Just your fingers Rafe…” He brushes your dripping folds with his thick digits, gathering your essence before stuffing them in his mouth, sucking them clean as his eyes roll back. “Let me eat you, baby. C’mon,” he pleads. You watch him wet his bottom lip, savoring the taste of whatever’s left of you.
“Damnit, Rafe. Your lips too… Fuck. Hurry. Your dad’s meeting me soon.”
“Little now. Little later,” he huffs as his strong arms loop around your thighs, pulling you closer than before, lowering you onto the cushion. Rafe’s gaze stays on yours as his lips latch on your clit, sucking and brushing his tongue from side to side.
He moans against your cunt as his fingers toy with your entrance, teasing you with the chilled ridges of his gold ring. Your thighs tremble, tightening around him. “Enough of that,” he slurs, spreading your legs wider, sucking and finger-fucking you with a little more muscle. “Can’t wait for you to suck my cock. Can’t wait to get you off,“ he mumbles against your heat. You look toward the door, watching a shadow pass underneath. The music blares from behind it. Is it loud enough? You sink your teeth into your bottom lip, holding back your cries of pleasure.
“You taste like heaven, honey,” he pants, bumping his nose against your clit as his tongue dips into your hole. Rafe grabs your legs, slinging them over his broad shoulders, getting even closer. He laps at your pussy, devouring you. Rafe breathes deeply, taking in your scent, eyes shutting softly, the vibration of a moan felt against your cunt. He takes your clit in his mouth sucking hard, making you cry out, spiked heels digging into his strong back as you buck your hips.
“Fuck, Rafe. M’right there,” you blubber. You reach for your dress straps, tugging down the top, letting your tits bounce free. Your hands instantly draw up to your chest, clutching and pushing them together. Rafe bites down on your swollen clit, making you toss your head back. Strangled cries spills from your lips. Your hands drop down, weaving into his blonde fringe giving it a rough tug as you grind your pussy on his face, feeling yourself wavering on the edge of bliss.
“Peach?” You hear Ward call from outside the door, making your eyes double in horror. Rafe doesn’t stop, increasing his pace even. His eyes flick to yours, solidifying the evident. He wants Ward to hear. Your hand clamps over your mouth, muffling your cries. Rafe reaches up, snatching your wrist as your body betrays you, eyes screwing shut at you cum on Rafe’s tongue, white-hot pleasure coursing through your veins.
Rafe works you through your orgasm, waiting until you’re fully relaxed to release you with a panting breath. His mouth greets yours in a passionate kiss, cupping your breasts in his large hands. He pinches and rolls your nipples between his rough fingers before sucking down; trailing sweet kisses causing you to mewl.
“You’re mine,” Rafe whispers, nestling himself into your neck.
“Not… Fuck. Rafe, I’m not.”
“You are. Stop lyin’, princess. You know you are,” he subsists as he matches your eyes. “Lie to me and tell me that wasn’t the best you’ve ever had. I didn’t even use my dick, baby. Imagine what I could do. Huh? I know my old man isn’t doin’ any of this shit better than me.” You fight for air, looking away for a moment before he grabs your chin, demanding your focus. “Fuckin’ talk to me. Use those pretty little words that you’re holdin’ back. Enough with the games. It was painfully easy to get you in here. I know what you want-”
“Rafe… I don’t know-” Your phone vibrates, stealing your attention as well as Rafe’s as you watch back-to-back text messages come in from Ward.

Broken Glass - Kim Gun-Woo x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Follow up to:
The Dance Teacher
Synopsis: Faced with financial ruin, you take out a loan with Smile Capital. By the time you realise your mistake, the damage is already done.
Please note that this fic features violence against the reader. I have kept details vague.
For as long as you could remember, you’d wanted to be a dancer. Your parents always said that as a baby, instead of walking, you’d dance everywhere. You were enrolled in ballet classes from the age of three, spending every spare second you had practicing your pliets and arabesques. You danced on your way to and from school, you danced while studying, you danced while cleaning the house. You enrolled in contemporary and lyrical classes, along with hip hop and even ballroom. You couldn’t get enough of the way it felt when you gave your body over to the music, getting lost in the emotion that came with movement.
You’d been desperate to start up your own dance school, to teach others to love dancing as much as you did. You’d spent years saving, squirrelling every penny away to fund your dream. But you hadn’t counted on losing it all, your hard earned cash being taken by the man who was supposed to love you. Your ex had a gambling addiction, one that tore through your life like a wildfire, taking everything with it. Your dream of a dance studio had been so close, but it was ripped from your grasp overnight. You only just managed to keep your apartment, having to sell your car to pay back some of your ex’s debt. He had left when the debt collectors turned up, abandoning you to deal with the fallout of his selfish actions. Your dreams were in tatters, but then someone offered you a lifeline.
A representative from Smile Capital approached you, offering you a sensible sounding loan so you could get back on your feet. The monthly repayment options were affordable, the upfront cost minimal. You saw the light at the end of the tunnel, and you took their loan without a second thought. You opened your studio, your classes selling out as people scrambled for a slot. For a while, life was good. Until it wasn’t.
As you closed up the studio one night, a group of men approached you. You recognised one of them as the man who had offered you the loan, his once smiling, kind face now set into a stony grimace.
“Do you take us for fools?” He asked you, blocking your path as you tried to leave. “We offer to help you, and you laugh in our faces?”
“I’m sorry?” You said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
All the hairs on the back of your neck stood up, your fight or flight kicking in, urging you to run. Something was wrong, and you needed to escape.
“You dumb little bitch,” he laughed, lunging towards you, gripping your hair with such force that tears welled in your eyes. “You think you can get away without paying us?”
You looked around wildly for help, but the street was empty, all other businesses long closed for the night.
“The first payment isn’t due for another 2 weeks,” you squeaked, trying desperately to escape his vice-like grip.
The group of men laughed, and the very blood in your veins turned to ice.
“I’m not talking about the monthly payment you dumb fucking whore,” he spat. “Did you not read the terms and conditions? You had 7 days to pay the upfront costs. And yet, we’ve received nothing.”
Your mind whirred as you thought back to the contract you’d signed. You’d read every page, and had seen nothing about upfront costs. Tears rolled down your cheeks as you started to panic. These men could do whatever they wanted to you in this darkened alleyway, and no one would hear you scream.
“Please,” you whispered, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
You were thrown to the floor, the contract you’d signed flung unceremoniously at you. Scanning the pages again you noticed the tiny fine print on the last page, so small you could barely read it. With a sickening realisation, you understood what had happened.
“You tricked me,” you sobbed. “How could you?” The sum they had asked for up front was completely beyond your means; it was beyond any normal person’s means.
“You have 24 hours to get me your cash,” the man hissed in your ear. “Or you can say goodbye to your studio.”
His breath was hot on your ear, his fingers once again entwining painfully in your hair as he flicked his tongue along your neck. You shuddered at his unwanted touch, pushing the man away from you. You watched them leave, too scared to move from your crouched position on the floor until you could no longer hear their footsteps. You were done for, your dream and life once again lying in tatters around you.
You didn’t sleep that night, thinking of everything you could to try and get out of the contract. You couldn’t contact the police; after all, you’d signed the contract willingly. Your friends and family didn’t have money to loan you, and you had too much credit card debt to get a loan from the bank. You thought about running, but where would you go? You had no doubt that these people would be able to track you down, and that they’d use the people you cared about to get to you. You’d have no choice but to beg, to ask for forgiveness and more time. But you knew now that they weren’t those kinds of people. Smile Capital didn’t care who they hurt; you were nothing more than an ant underneath their shoe. So tiny and insignificant, and they wouldn’t hesitate to step on you.
***
It was late as Kim Gun-Woo made his way back home, jogging through the darkened streets, the stars in the sky illuminating his way. Practice had run late, but he’d told his mum he’d stop by the cafe on the way home to pick up the purse she’d left behind. The chill in the air was biting, his breath visible as his feet pounded the pavement. He didn’t hear the commotion until he rounded the corner, the street littered with broken glass. He could hear the faint sound of crying, a female voice pleading with someone. Gun-Woo instantly recognised the voice; it was you.
Disguising himself in the shadows, he crouched low, sneaking silently round the corner for a better view. Your studio was in tatters, the glass frontage completely smashed, the furniture and equipment lying broken on the pavement. He could vaguely make out your body lying in between the debris, your pleas going unanswered as you begged for your assailants to cease. Gun-Woo couldn’t stand to see you like this, couldn’t bear to hear you in such distress. If he didn’t step in, there was no telling what might happen to you.
“Leave her alone!”
You heard Gun-Woo’s voice behind you, saw him emerge from the shadows just as one of the men lit a match. The smell of gasoline burned in your nostrils, your voice hoarse as you begged for him to stop. They’d arrived an hour ago, dragging you from your studio and beating you until you could no longer stand. They made you watch as they destroyed your livelihood, smashing glass and mirrors, hacking away at your ballet barres. Your t-shirt was covered in blood, your face sticky with the congealed substance. At this point, you didn’t care if they killed you; there was no coming back from the damage they’d inflicted.
“Gun-Woo, no!” You begged, too weak to stand, your hand outstretched in a feeble attempt to stop him. He was one man against a dozen; he didn’t stand a chance. But you hadn’t seen him fight before, had never witnessed him take down an opponent in the ring in under 2 minutes. He was lithe and agile, but impossibly strong as he made quick work of your assailants. You heard cartilage crunch as his fists made contact with their noses, watched as blood and teeth spurted from their mouths. You barely had time to register what was happening before he picked up off the floor, hoisting you over his shoulder as if you weight nothing. You kept your eyes on your destroyed studio as Gun-Woo carried you to safety, your only solace knowing that now these men were physically hurting as much as you were.
Gun-Woo didn’t stop running until he was safely back at his apartment, you cradled in his arms.
“What happened?” He asked you, laying you down on the sofa as his mum rushed over. You told them about Smile Capital, about the impossible clause you hadn’t read until it was too late.
“My studio is gone,” you sobbed. “They destroyed everything.”
“We can help you rebuild,” Gun-Woo insisted. “You’ll come back stronger than ever.”
“But what about my classes? My students? How am I supposed to make a living? I owe Smile Capital more than I’ll make in a lifetime. I just don’t see how I can come back from this.”
It broke Gun-Woo’s heart to see you like this. Your beautiful face, so beaten and bloody, your usually sunny attitude ground down to nothing.
These men had destroyed you, and Gun-Woo would make them pay.

First lines of 2025
@wanderingcas wanted to see what I've written this year so far, apparently! Well... if you insist.
----------------------------------
The new message was from a mere few hours ago: Lucifer is free again, long story. We’re trying to beat him to Kelly and Cas’s location. If you don’t hear from me in the next 24 hours, assume it didn’t work out. At least you don’t have to worry about your own colleagues anymore, huh? Sorry man.
It was news to Mick that the Winchesters had located Kelly, and that Castiel was with her. Guarding her, keeping her imprisoned, both? Either way, he was about to go up against Lucifer alone if the Winchesters didn’t get there fast enough. There was probably only one way that could go.
He immediately started throwing his gear together. The Hyperbolic Pulse Generator was obviously the big-ticket item, not that anyone knew he had that. A handgun and a spare clip of silver bullets, just as a precaution. An angelic blade, which the Winchesters had been happy enough to loan him since they had about a dozen spares. He threw in a med kit and took the bag to the car he’d bought for cash in Kansas and had never actually registered in Washington, an incredibly nondescript fifteen-year-old Toyota Corolla that he suspected might have survived the threatened heat death of the universe last year.
He got in the junker and floored it. He was a mere three hours from North Cove. He wasn’t entertaining any fantasies of showing up as some kind of a hero and getting Castiel’s attention anymore, he’d learned the futility of trying to compete with Dean Winchester. But he also wasn’t going to let the angel die if he could do something to prevent it.
------------------------------
As always, if you see this and have something you're excited to share, this is me tagging you. Yes, you!

do u have any advice for feeling hopeless about the future? It's crazy to me to see people younger/my age with so much money like I'm 22 I thought everyone struggle at this phase of life but idk.... when I look at my future I realize I have to be so lucky to afford a house, car and traveling. why go through uni when there's people who never went and have soo much money? Im so scared of being homeless and my friend literally bought a house and she's moving out I just feel like I failed life you know and Idk what to do about that
hi honey!
I want to say starkly that I often feel very hopeless about the future, even just a few days ago I mentioned here that I don’t look forward to the future, that I’m not happy thinking about it. I think university is one of those things where it doesn’t often make a big impact anymore? like for some people it means you’ll have job security in a sector you enjoy, but if you’re like me I doubt my degree will actually make much difference, my sisters hasn’t really helped her, I do think that wealth is getting to a point where if you don’t have some sort of generational income it’s not easy to actually afford a house, a car etc, and that does make you hopeless. I understand why you feel this way (but not trying to imply that university is a farce, it’s always a good thing that we should be getting a further education) . I often think I’m not smart or hard working enough to ever make anything of my life, and while hard work and intelligence do make a difference sometimes, it’s obviously not always the case and that’s tough too. And I understand comparison too because I feel like every time I go out with friends I’m the one who’s poorly dressed wearing clothes from asda while they’re in berksha and pull and bear and stuff, but I think I cope with this hopeless feeling by trying to be fair to everyone (???) Sorry if I sound stupid but what I’m trying to make in this point is that just cos my friends are wearing expensive clothes might not mean a thing, it might just mean that’s the thing they’ve chosen to buy with the limited funds they have (and I don’t mean to erase the fact that some people can’t really make that choice, or shame people for spending their money on what makes them happy). Perhaps your friend has unseen credit cards or loans, or perhaps she is lucky or well employed and has the cash for it, but neither of those answers means that you have failed at life in my opinion! I am also very afraid of homelessness, I think I’m starkly aware that if it weren’t for my mother being willing to have me here I would indeed become homeless right now! It’s hard to feel hopeful for the future when one bad day is the difference between financial security or homelessness.
but! My advice!! Not just my agreement:
I think that to feel hopeful about the future you have to change your mindset. That answer sounds stupid in hindsight: how can you change your mindset when you’re constantly being pushed back or unlucky? And how is a changed mindset actually useful against the threat of homelessness? It really isn’t like a mindset can do that and I don’t ever mean to imply to you that you can think your happy way out of poverty because you can’t, but to cope with the hopelessness part you have to unfortunately try to find a way to cope. That’s really hard to do and I genuinely think it’s brave of you to want to move away from it. It’s really common for people living in poverty or working class people to experience mental health problems simply because the quality of life they’re experiencing is so low, but that doesn’t make those mental health issues less valid or less deserving of help and treatment, so if you did ever want to get some support, you could try long term or short term. I find that I can feel less hopeless after talking to someone about the things that are worrying me, and there are free helplines and text lines dedicated to that! The Samaritans have an email service that I can attest to being helpful and kind, the person who I talked to when I was having a hard time was very understanding and sympathetic, and there are some other ones like SHOUT which is a text line, it’s free, but they’re very busy at night in the UK so if you do want to talk to them you might have to wait a while or try at a different time. I had better luck talking to them in the mornings.
I used to be so hopeless about my future that I was suicidal (and I still am some days) for a long long period of time, and the thing that helped me escape that was one. To stop listening to sad music (it sounds stupid but it helped me personally, not sure if that’s something you wanna do) two. To delete social medias and three. to read a lot of poetry!!! Not that toxic positivity can save you, but to read and to see that other people have felt how I feel and to know they also saw and made very beautiful things is a good feeling. Some sentiments have changed the way I see the world. Like: romance ‘as a medium and not a vehicle’, seeing the world as the sun is setting, a nice laugh, and more concrete things like worrying is to suffer twice, that community starts at home, and that dishes are proof you’ve eaten a home cooked meal. You definitely don’t have to like any of the sentiments I’ve said or believe in them if you don’t want to, but I’m suggesting you find some sentiments to keep you going, not even positive things if you don’t want them to be like that!! And I always suggest poetry or if u don’t wanna read a collection, just having a look on tumblr or Pinterest at what people are saying, something you can think is very beautiful about the world if only for like three or four days! I love having something to think about for a few days when I’m sad. if that’s all shit or useless don’t worry just ignore me! And obviously sorry if it is shit and useless. Another way I’ve managed to not feel hopeless totally about the future is to explore options of things I can control. I may not be able to afford a mortgage, but I could potentially one day rent a flat. I might never meet a partner to have kids with but I can foster if I wanted (not that fostering kids is the same as having them (or not the same, depending on feeling, just that’s it’s so complicated)) to take care of someone. I think the things that you’re hopeless about (things that are linked to money and work) are VERY hard to think positively about, and I don’t blame you for feeling hopeless about them, and I know how super hard and scary it genuinely is to feel like that so I’m so so sorry you’re feeling like this. It’s hard to know you can work very hard and never feel that you’ve been paid for it, and I don’t want to tell you oh don’t worry it’ll be fine because it won’t make you feel better, because you know your situation is an intimidating one, but please know you’re not alone in your hopelessness or your fears and that so many our age are in the same boat. You aren’t failing at life life is just soooooo difficult and unfair and unlucky, it’s not your fault! You are not less deserving or less hard working!! You have nothing to be embarrassed of for not managing the same as a friend has. It doesn’t mean you never will. People say this to me all the time, you don’t have to follow any life plan. I genuinely think that if you can keep trying, you can work toward happiness, and hopefully get some much deserved help! Sorry life is so hard honey!

Would you put paying off your car in the same category as paying off your credit cards in terms of priority?
It's tricky, because ideally I'd advise someone against ever getting a car payment (or a cell phone payment) if they can avoid it. Better to sell off the car that's on lease and buy a shitty beater for cash if you can than to piss money away on the monthly car payment. A car isn't an 'investment,' it is guaranteed to lose value so going into debt for one is a bad move. But I recognize that's not always possible to avoid! So if it's not possible to switch your car out for one that won't put you into debt, then yes, pay off your car loan as fast as possible and pray you can get enough years out of it that you wont have to in the future.

Fic--#2 Forced to Beg-pt 1
Fic #2 for Fic Fest. This one is using a prompt from Febuwhump's prompt list.
This takes place at an early time period in the Bucks' timeline. This also turned out to be kind of long, so I'm posting it in two parts. Here is part one. I'll be posting part two a little later today.
Warnings: 18+ violence, some power play along attempted non-consensual activity though nothing suggested or explicit happens.
“Come on, Nick. Let’s get the eff out of here.”
Nick turned toward Matt and grabbed the rest of their gear with no argument.
Meanwhile, Matt was practically bouncing on the balls of his feet as they headed outside. He knew this was probably the last dregs of adrenaline. As soon as they got back to the hotel, Matt was sure he would be feeling that blow he got when he landed on that guard rail. And that fall from the ladder. He was also aware that Nick wouldn’t be spared either after that spill he took from the top turnbuckle.
It was all worth it though. This had easily been their best match in weeks. Plus, they had completely sold out of merch that night. Being a little banged up was just part of the business and a small price for what they got out of the night.
The two of them dragged their stuff to the car, throwing everything into the trunk. It was late. The streetlights reflecting off small puddles of the drizzle that was falling on and off ever since the sun went down.
“So…Wendy’s or Taco Bell tonight?” Matt asked after everything was loaded into the car.
“I’m more in the mood for a run to the border,” Nick said with a smirk.
Matt snorted and was about to get in when the sound of footsteps stopped him.
“Hey, hey Bucks. Hey Young Bucks. Hold on.”
Matt frowned. He recognized that voice. It belonged to Gage Terrill. He was a wrestler from out of state who had come to California recently with a couple of his friends, Dan and Ty to wrestle the local promotions. On the surface he seemed ok, but a couple of people he and Nick were friends with said that Gage gave off a bad vibe.
Nick moved closer to stand next to Matt as Gage appeared with Dan and Ty in their usual places, standing close behind Gage.
“Hey,” Gage said, waving at Matt as he moved closer. “Killer show tonight, huh. Crowd seemed really into you guys.”
“Yeah,” Matt said with a shrug. “That’s what they pay us for.”
“Yeah, I bet they do,” Gage said, his black eyes focused on Matt. “Good money too, I hear. So um, you guys think you could spare some to help a guy out? Just as a loan? Our battery died and we just need cash to pay for a tow over to a shop to replace it. We can pay you back after our next show, honest.”
Matt gnawed at his lip. It wasn’t an unreasonable request. Dealing with shit cars was a common problem for wrestlers working the indie circuits. But something about this felt off to Matt.
It was Nick who was able to put the pieces together first.
“Don’ think so. Your car was workin’ just fine when you split after your match earlier tonight. You didn’t even stick ‘round to check on the guy you sucker punched. But now it’s not workin’?”
Gage glared at him while Matt smirked. His baby brother was always an expert bullshit detector. People like Gage just made it too easy for him.
But then Gage suddenly chuckled and shook his head. “Ok. You got me. Our payday wasn’t what we were planning on and we don’t know if we can afford to get back home. I had hoped to get something to made it a little easier.”
Gage smiled and leaned against the car, placing his forearms onto the roof. “I guess…I guess we can’t do things the easy way. We’re just going to have to do them the hard way instead.”
Matt blinked and was about to ask him what he meant by that when he suddenly realized he had lost track of Dan and Ty. A yank to his hair and hands grabbing his arms alerted him to where they were. Dan twined his fingers into Matt’s hair and pulled, exposing his throat, before pressing the edge of a switchblade against it. Ty yanked Matt’s arms around behind him, making sure that he couldn’t move. As if the knife to his neck was not encouragement enough.
During this, Nick had been knocked to the side. He started to move toward Matt, but Gage tutted at him as he moved from the other side of the car.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” Gage told him. “Wouldn’t want Dan to get nervous and sloppy with that blade now, would we?”
Nick scowled at him but also took a couple of steps back, his eyes locking back onto Matt.
Matt did his best to keep his expression neutral even though every swallow was another painful slide along the edge of the blade. He tried squirming to relieve the pressure on his throat, but Dan and Ty had him held fast.
“Good to see you’ve figured out who’s in charge,” Gage drawled. “Now, gimmie your money. All of it. I know you got plenty.”
Nick ground his jaw as he jammed his fist into the pocket of his sweats and yanked out his wallet. He pulled out the bills and slapped them into Gage’s hand. Gage smiled and thumbed through the bills.
“Nice. You could have easily shared. But I think this will work out better for us after all. I’m also thinking this isn’t all of it.” Gage stuffed the money into the front pocket of his jeans. “How about you fetch me big brother’s stash too. Carefully now. Wouldn’t want any accidents to happen.”
Dan punctuated Gage’s words by thrusting the knife closer against Matt’s throat causing Matt to let out a pained gag. Nick’s eyes widened, but he stayed silent as he inched toward Matt, stopping when he was about a foot away from him. He gingerly slipped his hand into Matt’s pocket to get his wallet. He started to walk toward Gage, but Gage shook his head.
“Toss it over.” Nick complied and Gage caught it with one hand. He got the money out and then dropped Matt’s wallet to the ground, kicking it underneath the car. “There, you see. Everything is so much easier when there’s cooperation.”
“Ok, you got our money,” Matt spluttered out. “Just…let us go.” Gage narrowed his eyes at him.
“I think you’ve already forgotten who is in control here.” Gage moved closer to Matt. Then he pressed his fingers against Matt’s ribs, right where he had landed against the guard rail. Matt moaned while Gage shook his head. “Maybe you need some reminders.”
“Please,” Nick said.  “Please don’”
Gage turned back to Nick, an eyebrow raised. He strolled over to him. “Well now…I like that. Yes.” He reached up to caress Nick’s chin. “I like that a lot.”

That's my husband - Ch7:
Monday morning and no alarm sounds to wake the dead was what Chara looked forward to every week. Papyrus still rose early to jog, shower, wake the kids, and make breakfast. Chara still took the horde to school except Papyrus woke her instead of the annoying buzzer from the clock. However, this morning he started with waking his woman with a kiss on the back of her neck and then her shoulder feeling challenged after Sunday's failed advance. Chara squirmed against him as she began coming to and rolled over to wrap her arms around him. He gave her a sweet kiss which she returned and rolled him over her. As if on cue, a knock echoed from the bedroom door and a scruffy little voice called, "Momma, Papa! We're ready for breakfast!"
"NO ONE'S HERE BY THOSE NAMES!" Papyrus answered receiving a light chastising smack on his arm from Chara.
"Go jog. I'll throw some pasteries in the oven and scramble some eggs. I can do that much," she fussed playfully. Her husband just laughed and kissed her before standing up to stretch. "Good morning, Kabel," Chara exited and pat her troublemaker on the top of his head. "How about I make you kids some cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, and cut some fruit?"
"Did we do something bad?" he asked following her heels down the stairs.
"No, not at all. Why do you ask, my love?"
"Then why are you punishing us with breakfast?"
"KABEL SKELETON, APOLOGIZE TO YOUR MOTHER," Papyrus scolded him leaving the bedroom to go for a run. "I EAT HER COOKING TOO, AND YOU DON'T HEAR ME COMPLAIN."
Chara inhaled slowly and pinched the bridge of her nose. 'That... that's my husband alright...' she thought to herself knowing he didn't mean it how it came off.
"Sorry, Momma..." Kabel obeyed.
"It's alright, sweetie. Just be careful about things you say to others. Think first and ask yourself if it would make you feel bad hearing someone else saying it to you. A lot of times, the answer is correct, but not always. What's funny to one person might be hurtful to another. Everyone is different, my love." After breakfast, Papyrus rode with them so he and Chara could run some errands while out. "Pap, you know you could have stayed home and rested. I know you're tired," she made conversation.
"NONSENSE! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL NEVER TIRE WHEN THERE'S WORK TO BE DONE! BESIDES, I LIKE BEING THE PASSENGER FOR ONCE," he joked.
Chara just smiled, rolled her eyes, and shook her head. 'That is also my husband...' she mused.
"WHERE ARE WE GOING AGAIN??"
"Well, we need groceries for one. I just used the last of the eggs and milk. I thought we might pick you up a new pair of work shoes since yours are starting to break down, the car needs an oil change, and I need to make a payment on your business loan. I also thought we could grab lunch before picking up trouble and minion."
"CAN'T YOU JUST MAIL THE PAYMENT IN OR PAY IT ONLINE??"
"Nope! Processing fees are worse than the gas burned to bring in cash when it's right next to the shopping center where we'll be anyway."
"AND THAT IS WHY YOU HANDLE THE BUDGET. I WOULD JUST PAY THE FEES TO AVOID THE DRIVE TO TOWN."
"We don't have a safety net in the bank by paying excess fees and spending frivolously, Pap. Those extra fees versus gas spent is only a couple hundred a year but it adds up when applied to everything. A couple hundred here and there adds up quick."
"TRUE, BUT TIME IS A MORE PRECIOUS RESOURCE THAN MONEY AND I CAN ALWAYS MAKE MORE MONEY. WE AREN'T MAKING ANYMORE- WHAT??"
"Are you really about to say 'time'? To the person who was given a way to manipulate time by Gaster?" Papyrus grinned and shrugged.
The first order of business for Chara was the oil change where they were stranded at the shop for an unpredictable amount of time. As she handed the guy behind the counter the key for the transaction, Papyrus told him in jest, "DON'T FORGET TO TOP OFF THE BLINKER FLUID, ALRIGHT. NYEH HEH!"
"Funny, sir... I see what you did there..." the guy replied unamused tagging the key.
'Oh dear stars, that is my husband!' Chara screamed internally and palmed her face in a vain attempt to hide herself cringing at his joke. After receiving the key back, their next stop would be to drop off the payment and spend an hour or so in the store as he went through every pair of shoes available to find the absolute best fitting pair. She had given up rushing him a long time ago. After finally deciding on the perfecg pair, they headed to the grocery store which took half the time getting through with Papyrus because he knew exactly what he needed and where to find it. Chara was the one who liked to browse and take her time deciding which new snacks to try and trying to remember which foods the children randomly decided they suddenly liked or didn't like.
"I'M GOING TO GRAB ALL THE PRODUCE WE NEED WHILE YOU LOOK. SEND ME THAT PART OF THE LIST AND I'LL GRAB IT AND THE MEATS. THIS WAY WE CAN GO HOME AND HAVE LUNCH BEFORE PICKING UP THE KIDS," he offered. Chara agreed and sent him a text with part of her list.
Once everything was loaded in the cart, they stood in line to check out and pay. "Ooh! Someone likes eating healthy! It's not often I see a cart with so much whole food!" the cashier exclaimed in a bubbly voice.
"WE TRY AT LEAST. BUT IT'S HARD TO GET ONE OF MY FOUR TO EAT GREEN STUFF AND IT'S NOT THE ONE YOU THINK," Papyrus cut up with the lady in a hyperbolic manner and pointed to his wife.
"Papyrus!" Chara chastised. "I am not a child so don't lump me in with them."
"Oh! This is your husband?? I would have bet money on you being a child if you hadn't said something! You look so young and adorable!" the cashier kept up her appearance.
"Um, thanks? Yes, that's my husband and he thinks he's a comedian like his brother. Pap, pay the bill and let's go. We don't want to hold the nice lady up."
"DON'T BE SALTY, LOVE. YOU MIGHT JERKY THE MEAT BEFORE WE GET HOME," Papyrus chuckled at his own joke. Chara gave him an indignant side eye taking the receipt from the lady.
"Thank you, miss. Have a good evening," Chara turned to her politely to speak before taking the cart. "Papyrus. Must you?" she hissed exiting the store.
"I WAS ONLY TEASING, DEAR. YOU GET SO TOUCHY OVER BEING THOUGHT OF AS A CHILD SOMETIMES," the tall monster scratched his crown as he put the bags in the trunk.
"Pap, we've been over this so many times. I'm not a child. I'm your wife and people mistake me for your child so damn often if I'm not dressed to the nines. It's frustrating only being seen as an adult through your validation if I'm with you because no one takes me seriously..."
"JOIN THE CLUB, HONEY. NO ONE TOOK ME SERIOUSLY AS AN ADULT UNTIL I BECAME A FATHER. I GET IT. IT SUCKS BEING SEEN AS A PERPETUAL CHILD JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE DIFFERENT. BUT, I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE MORE ADULT THAN TO BE SO UPSET OVER A SMALL TEASE THAT MIGHT HAVE MADE SOMEONE ELSE'S LIKELY AWFUL DAY A LITTLE BETTER."
"Grr! How dare you make sense to me and appeal to my empathy." Payrus kissed her cheek climbing into the passenger side and took her free hand. She knew he was right especially about others taking him seriously as an adult. People often mistook his jovial and whimsical nature as childish and innocent, but Papyrus knew all too well the harsh and ugly truths of reality. He simply chose to not let it affect him much. He was an optimistic soul with his own little dark side only Chara was privy to. 'Yep... that's my husband for sure...' she reminded herself as they left for home.
Later that evening after homework, dinner, and nightly baths, Papyrus finished his day catching up on his favorite shows. Two tiny munchkins sat in his lap watching with him while Serif studied in his room with headphones on. Chara leaned on him half asleep from boredom. His detective dramas were not her favorite but she didn't fuss since he didn't always have time to watch them. "Papa!" Sylfae grew restless and began squirming under her blanket.
"YES, PUMPKIN?" he indulged her.
"I wanna play before bedtime! Can we build a fort?!"
"Yeah, Papa! Can we?!" Kabel joined in.
"FIND SOMETHING STURDY, GRAB ALL OF YOUR PILLOWS, AND YOUR BLANKETS," he told them.
"You are actually going to have them drag their bedding down here to set up a mess for me to clean tomorrow?" Chara gave him an unamused scowl.
"I'LL CLEAN IT UP AFTER WE PUT THEM TO BED, I PROMISE. THEY WON'T BE TINY FOREVER, DEAR." She agreed reluctantly and watched as he daughter dragged her dollhouse downstairs to make a wall. Papyrus tossed a large blanket over the back of their couch and the dollhouse to make the cover and another on top to make the back wall. Kabel stuffed the inside full of their pillows and extra blankets. It was then that Papyrus dove inside and barricaded himself in. "I, KING PAPYRUS, HAVE DECLARED THIS MY CASTLE FORT! NYEH HEHEH!!"
"Attack!!" both young ones shouted jumping through the gap where his eye sockets peeked from behind a single pillow knocking him and the blankets down.
"It's too dark!" Sylfae cried.
"YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE KNOCKED IT DOWN, YOU LITTLE GOBLINS!"
"Papa, I'm stuck!!" Kabel exclaimed.
"AS LONG AS YOU'RE BREATHING YOU'RE FINE, SON." He then pulled the blankets off of them and bundled them up. "WELL, NOW THAT IT'S DESTROYED, WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?"
"Let's rebuild it! Then, you can read us a story under the roof," Sylfae giggled with excitement.
"YOU TWO KNOCKED IT DOWN SO YOU CAN REBUILD IT. THEN, YOU CAN DECIDE ON WHICH BOOK - WHICH ONE BOOK. IT'S ALMOST BEDTIME." The two rushed to their rooms to grab a book and argued which one was the lucky pick. "NOPE! NO QUARRELS! BRING THEM TO MOMMA AND SHE'LL DECIDE." Chara smiled at him as she draped herself over the back of the sofa.
"Kabel, this is your reading assignment for school. Nice try, but we'll go with minion's pick tonight even though it's a little above your level. This was Serif's book once right?" Chara chose. Papyrus nodded in confirmation and took the novel.
"Rats! Caught again," Kabel sighed.
"What is all the noise??" Serif asked exiting his room for a snack.
"Papa is going to read us a story in the fort we built," Sylfae answered peeking out.
"Which story?" She held up the cover to the small window to show him. "Sweet! I love that one!" Serif joined them in the spacious area making it cramped as Papyrus started reading.
"WHEN I LEFT MY OFFICE THAT BEAUTIFUL SPRING DAY..." As he read the first couple of chapters, the little two dozed off soundly atop their nest of pillows and blankets. Once little snores and steady breathing could be heard, their papa marked the page and carefully removed the top sheets that served as the roof and back wall. He gently cradled his daughter and motioned for Serif to pick up his brother so they could put them in bed. "GOODNIGHT, LITTLE PUMPKIN. I LOVE YOU," he whispered kissing her forehead and tucking her in. Chara was tucking in Kabel when Papyrus entered to tell him goodnight as well. "GOODNIGHT, YOU LITTLE TROUBLEMAKER. JUST LIKE YOUR MOTHER AND UNCLE ASRIEL... I LOVE YOU," he spoke softly and brushed the wild wavy strand out of his face.
"We weren't that bad..." Chara pouted.
"WE DIDN'T CALL YOU BOTH THE TROUBLE TWINS FOR NOTHING," he muttered on exit to tell his oldest goodnight. "GOODNIGHT, STINKY! I LOVE YOU TOO!" he spoke to Serif not so quietly and put him in a headlock reminiscent of how Undyne used to do.
"Dad! Come on! I'm almost big enough to take you, ya know!" Serif protested.
"OH YEAH?! YOU DARE CHALLENGE ME! I'VE BEEN FIGHTING YOU SINCE YOU WERE A LITTLE POMEGRANATE IN YOUR MOM'S BELLY! I KNOW ALL OF YOUR MOVES!"
"Alright! Fight me!" Serif laughed as he took out his dad's footing sending both of them to the floor. "You might be bigger, but I'm squirrely!"
As the two wrestled trying to pin the other, Chara warned them, "You better not wake the others up! I'm not staying up with them if you do! Serif, you can stay up since you're so full of energy."
"Not now, Momma! I've got Dad in a full nelson and Imma 'bout to make him tap. Unless he wants to keep wearing me like a backpack!"
"UNFORTUNATELY FOR YOU, I'M FLEXIBLE," Papyrus reminded him as he slipped out and picked Serif up wrapping him around his neck vertebrae in a backbreaker power mover.
"Gah! Dad! No fair! I can't get a grip on you because you're all bones."
"NYEH HEHEHEHEH!! Papyrus laughed all the way to Serif's room where he dumped him on his bed. "GOODNIGHT, STINKER. SLEEP WELL." He petted his son's head, but Serif stood up and wrapped his arms around him.
"Goodnight, Dad. I love you."
"I LOVE YOU TOO, SON. I LOVE YOU KIDS VERY MUCH."
Chara wore a smile that touched her eyes watching them interact. 'Now that... that's my husband,' she said to herself when Serif threw his arms around her and picked her up.
"Love you, Mom," he said hugging her.
"Oh! Serif! I love you too, sweetie, now put me down," she laughed. "I get it. You're taller than me, geeze." She kissed his temple and left for bed with Papyrus in tow.
"THREE KIDS... WHAT WERE WE THINKING?" he mused climbing into bed. "SERIF WAS A SURPRISE, KABEL WAS NOT EXPECTED STILL, AND WE PLANNED SYLFY. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I LOVE ALL THREE AND WOULD MURDER SOMEONE OVER THEM WITHOUT HESITATION BUT WHAT THE HELL WERE WE THINKING?"
"Do I really have to answer that for you?" Chara arched a brow at him opening her book to read a little before bed. "Why? Do you regret having them??"
"OF COURSE NOT, BUT BETWEEN THREE CRUMB GOBLINS, YOU, AND WORK, I'M EXHAUSTED."
"All the more motivation to hire more help."
"FAIR. READ TO ME? I STILL LIKE IT WHEN YOU READ YOUR STORIES." He curled up and laid his skull in her lap and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Of course, my love." She started where she left off the night before reading the first passage again. As his breathing steadied, she couldn't help but think to herself, 'That's my husband, the father of my children, and the love of my life. He's such a dork.' She grinned leaning down to kiss his cheek bone and worm her way into the blankets for sleep. Feeling her shift, Papyrus squeezed her tighter and buried his face into her neck without ever waking up.
