Simblreen 2024 Gift #1: Store Gentleman First for teen-elder

Kicking 2024's SImblreen off with a project that I kept putting off for ages since I expected it to be complex and with way too many groups for it to be reasonable...and when I got to work on it, it turns out that it's only one group! Definitely made things easier!

Pixicat: Biker Boots & Simple Shoes for teens & elders

Note: it was only after I'd converted these for teen females, that I noticed Pixicat uploaded the teen conversions in another post. Oh well. I assumed that the "Download everything" post really had everything in it... So you can use those or mine.

I recently downloaded the BIG archive of Pixicat's stuff, and noticed that, despite most shoes having teen and adult version, some were still missing teen and elder versions.

⚠️ These shoes are pretty high poly compared to EA's! See below.

All shoes are available under Everyday, Formal, Athletic, Career, Outerwear, Maternity, Random.

All shoes have 1 channel and 3 presets, identical to Pixicat's. Custom thumbnails.

Simblreen 2024 Gift #3: DOOM Eternal T-shirts for teen-elder, unisex

Kar En Tuk! 🤘 Being engrossed for all of August and part of September in DOOM 2016 and Eternal (which are so much fun!), and replaying them now, I knew that I needed to bring a bit of the latter into TS3, just like I did with the former on Simblreen 2018~

Like my HIM t-shirts, these feature designs I grabbed from HERE, of some of the various icons for in-game achievements. Most designs are unrecolorable stencils, but some do have recolorable parts (and the t-shirt part is always recolorable). I tried to make the designs as clear and pretty as possible, and went the extra mile to recreate the DOOM Eternal logo in Simlish~

For teen-elder, unisex. Available under Everyday, Sleep, Athletic, Maternity. Not enabled for random.

All variations but the one named "recolorable" have one recolorable channel. The recolorable variation presets have 3-4.

Sooo many stencils! The decals file has 22, the JP one has 5, the neon one has 8, and the recolorable one has 9.

Font used for the "Eternal" logo and in other images: SimFuture.

Custom thumbnails. They're more zoomed in than the usual so that the designs are better visible.

The female tees are based on my edit/conversion of the Store Easygoing Tee. The male tees are based on the lifeguard T-shirt from Island Paradise.

Polycount: 3.3k (all female shirts), 3k (all male shirts).

Late Night Trendy Denim Jacket for teen-elder

Figured this was too good to keep only for adults. Changes include: a new specular and a normal map, and linked both to the meshes (for some reason, they weren't linked), the previously unrecolorable stencil now added as a 4th channel.

Important: the download includes two YA/A versions: a DR one (if you have LN) and a BGC one. The DR one conflicts with recategorizers, since I had to edit the CASP resource for the overlay and mask; it also has remade EA-like thumbnails.

I didn't make LN-dependent teen and elder versions since the only image linked would've been the multiplier, which makes the whole ordeal pretty damn pointless.

For teen-elder, separate files. Everyday, Career, Outerwear. Not enabled for random.

4 channels, 3 presets. Custom thumbnails for all versions except the AM version that requires Late Night.

Store Spiffy Sweater Vest as top, for teen-elder males

Extremely revolutionary for me to do a sweater vest for males. I have never done that before, ever. Anyway, here's another top ripped from its original outfit. Luckily, this time there was an elder version already available, so I didn't need to do as much work.

HIM & VV (Ville Valo) T-shirts for teen-elder, unisex

I got myself another HIM t-shirt awhile back, and thought "why shouldn't my sims also have one to wear?", so I made these. I typically try to avoid stencils since they turn out pixelated, so all the designs you see above are simpler, but also have separate masks and are fully recolorable! This also means that if you want a plain tee, you can just pick a random preset and set all its channels to the same color.

All HIM presets have the same back design, the VV presets have different designs on the back. There are 10 designs in total. Designs © respective artists, most taken from Heartagram.

Store Timeless Three Button Vest for teen-elder

2023 is the year of finally finishing WIPs, and this is no exception! I'd half-abandoned this last year, and decided to finally be done with it. It features the usual texture edits (new normal map and specular), along with a slightly slimmer mesh.

Store Victorian Ankle-length Boots for child-elder, unisex

Shocker: a new upload! This was supposed to be a simple, straightforward age conversion but eventually turned into a gender conversion as well, as I thought "why not make this for kids, too?" and then "I'm already at it, let's convert it for males, too!".

The boots are shaped differently according to age, gender and morph state — mostly because I hate seeing chonky shoes on stick-thin sims, so now they're proportional —, but the kids' version is still a bit on the chonky side, even if fitting the shape of the foot.

For child-elder, unisex (separate files). Everyday, Formal, Career, Outerwear, Maternity (all except children).

Store Fall Festivities Sweatshirt for teen-elder

IMO, this, is a very nice top but for some reason EA insists on clothing with shirts hanging out from under hoodies or jackets. I set out to only convert this for teens and elders, but ended up adjusting the adult version too: I removed the shirt peeking out at the bottom, slimmed the torso, and removed the annoying shine.

For teen-elder males. Everyday, Athletic, Outerwear.

This is an...interesting outfit! I’ve always liked the sleeves on it so I tried separating the top from the skirt, and there you have it.

Generations Shirt & Sweater Top - Channel Fix

For the first time ever, I wanted to use this top, only to discover that EA didn’t account for the 1st channel showing underneath the gradient between the 2nd and 3rd channels. Luckily, it was a very simple fix.

This is a default replacement, it requires the Generations EP. The only thing edited is the mask, so it won’t interfere with recategorizers or mesh edits, if you have any. It applies to both teen and YA/A, as they share textures. Presets are unchanged.

Returning with more shoes! It’s such a pity that EA doesn’t make more shoes available to more ages, especially since it’s so easy to do so.

None of these require the original Store items, or the Movie Stuff SP.

Improvements All these shoes have remade speculars and normal maps. All are available for maternity (even the male loafers). All shoes are available for teen-elder, Everyday, Formal, Career. Movie Stuff heels: 4th channel recolors the entire sole, not just the heel.
