do u think when dean was a demon he could see Cas's true form? do u think he saw his wings too and it's still engraved in his memories

I really think they should've addressed this or hinted at it at least once cz what do u mean Dean SAW Cas😭😭😭

(I saw a post a while back about what cas "true form" would look like and it was a weird ball of brown wings, and honesty if Dean saw that too and still loves Cas then he's a way better person than I am, cz wtf is that shape😭😭😭 it would haunt me forever😭😭 I really hope that that post was a joke😭)

I do think so. He probably saw his wings, but I'm not sure what it would look like since Cas was on borrowed grace. Though I'm sure it's engraved in Dean's memories. How could anyone forget about seeing an angel's true form? I wouldn't.

They should definitely have addressed that. It's a shame they didn't.

I saw multiple types of Cas's true form drawn by different people, I find it amazing that people draw what they think it would look like and lots of them are gorgeous. In canon, we only saw Michael's true form when he was possessing Dean in season 14 and I must say I was kind of disappointed by it. Because it was too small, remember Cas is supposed to be the size of the Chrysler building so I guess it would be the same for Michael and maybe even bigger since he is an Archangel but this isn't what we saw.

But you know Dean tends to often forget that Cas is a celestial being, for him Cas is just a weird dorky little guy.

Sam is organising some of their archived items one day, and tries on the Holy Fire glasses just as Castiel walks into the room. He tries not to freak out because now he can see that Cas is surrounded by floating, glowing eyes.

Sam takes the glasses off. Normal regular Cas.

Puts them back on. Eyes everywhere.

Cas looks over and sees Sam's strange expression, not knowing the glasses he's wearing have been treated with Holy Fire, and asks if he's okay.

Sam fumbles his way through a "Yeah- I'm uh- I'm fine."

While they're talking Sam notices that actually, only a handful of the eyes floating around Cas are open, looking at him, while the rest are closed.

But then Dean walks into the room.

Instantly all of Cas's glowing eyes snap open and follow his movement through the room. "Hey Sam, hey Cas," Dean greets, unaware of the eyes watching him.

"Hello, Dean," Cas replies, all the eyes squinting closed like a happy cat.

Sam watches with interest. "Cas?" he says.

Cas's physical body turns to him, but only a few of the eyes leave Dean. "Yes, Sam?"

"Nothing."

The eyes all return to Dean before Cas even finishes saying, "If you're sure."

..........Sam is unsurprised.

So I did a thing... a friend had an idea to draw an Angel's 'true form'. This is my take on that. The constellation above Dean in the sky is Orion the Hunter. It's called "Grace".

Today, Castiel feels the need to stretch. While he has grown comfortable with his current vessel, there are times when his essence begins to feel a bit cramped. After placing a note on his door to explain his absence if anyone comes looking, Cas lets his true-self flow out of the now vacent body, leaving it to temporarily rest on his bed. Taking extra care not to speak, as doing so will interfere with the integrity of any nearby windows or technology, he slowly drifts above the bunker and to a nearby field, where the angel allows himself to truly relax and take in the beauty of earth as Himself, for the first time in a long while.
