Day Two Hundred and Six

Jack Kline | Supernatural, The Winchesters

My little nougat-loving, sneaking-cereal-in-the-middle-of-the-night golden retriever nephilim. Like with most characters on SPN, I hate his fate, and sometimes his story was hard to watch, but he brought a dynamic to our main group of characters that I love so much.

This is a year-long commitment but I'm up for the challenge.

Sam atleast had regrets. Cas was the one with the right opinions and ideas from the start and he got fucking blamed for it. I hate Dean for blaming Cas because he had no one else to.

My beef with Supernatural starts with Jack losing his soul and goes through the end of the series. Everything that happened after that showed us a version of Dean that just didn’t ring true. Jack was his and Cas’s kid, there is no universe where I believe Dean is pointing a gun at Jack’s head and even less that Dean would put feeling like he has free will over Jack’s life.

Dean “there is always another way, no matter how batshit” Winchester isn’t sacrificing his son, CAS’S SON, for himself. Period.

There are some beautiful moments in season 15, moments that I wouldn’t trade for anything, but Dean deserved so much better than the arc he got at the end.

Castiel: I think so. Why?

Sam: Just wondering. I mean even if I wanted to judge you, I can't. I mean, I tried convincing Dean in our twenties to basically be Frankenstein's monsters to avoid death. It's not cannibalism but it's very much looked down upon.

Castiel: I think most things we do are looked down upon. And not just the consuming souls to open Purgatory or starting the Apocalypse. Which you technically didn't start in motion, it was Dean. You just toppled the last domino.

Dean: I can't imagine why those things are looked down upon, they sound so pleasant for everyone involved.

Sam: I wouldn't have gotten that far if someone didn't make a demon deal.
