I get that too and I don't actually believe it will happen whenever I say she should take it off the setlist... but it kinda sucks. I think zane lowe was spot on with what he said to her about it

New Blog: Vanish

When I was younger I was a voracious reader. (Not that I really stopped.) Anyway, I would read about anything, especially if I had already read my library books and any books I purchased.  I read all of my father’s books, loving the descriptions of the west from Zane Grey and Charles Alden Seltzer.  I read everything from the children’s section and moved on to the young adult section.  (A point of interest… I rarely read my mother’s books - she read nonfiction - enough said.) I even read books people were foolish enough to leave around. David had been assigned The Hobbit by his English teacher and he left it out.  I took it and read it cover to cover.  Every night under the covers with a flashlight even.  I think I must have known he would need the book, but I was always reading and well I don’t think anyone noticed, least of all the person who had to read the book for class.  If memory serves me right, he didn’t finish the book review (after all I had the book) and got into trouble for the missing book.  Then one day, the book reappeared and David was relieved it was found and returned it to school.  To this day, I am not sure my family ever knew it was me that “borrowed” the book.  

This story came to mind this week, when a student said he couldn’t find a book that he was reading.  So I told my story - and maybe embellished it a bit.  The students loved the story and the next day the young man had the book.  I guess he went home and told his mother about the story and she helped him ‘find’ his missing book. (His mother had picked up the book and slid it into a bookcase.)  What a lovely memory for me to share and a great story for the student to help him realize that books do not vanish.  

Having said that, my old site will vanish this month and I will no longer be able to be found on Simplesite.  I have migrated over to Marjaysreadingblog.com totally.  You will also be able to continue to find me on Pinterest and Tumblr as well.   

Elise has sent in a wonderful review of Tell Tale Bones by Carolyn Haines and a great interview with Cari Lynn Webb about her newest series The Three Springs Texas Series.  Both are great reading!

Garroth: Zane has a what

Zane has a met spider named Lady

Zane found Lady after Garroth called him into the room to kill a spider for him Garroth is very very scared of spiders.

Zane saw Lady and decided "I'm keeping this" it at first was just to scare Garroth but now Zane loves Lady so much and he caries her everywhere

Lady is a jumping spider

this is what she looks like

she sleeps in Zane's pockets when Zane brings her somewhere but she also has a cage at home

she crawls on people a lot especially garroth.

Garroth is terrified of her but he won't kill her because he knows Zane loves her a lot and Zane would never forgive him
