I was gifted the @carwyncellars Canvent calendar, but I've spent the last 14 days being proper sick and on "don't mix with alcohol" antibiotics. So, here's the first dozen I haven't started. Lot's of IPAs, but I think I'm most looking forward to that belgo from Cornella. Sometime soon, I hope.

Choice! Yeow! 🤙🏻 Both unique and very tasty! Bright red in colour, Duncan’s was refreshing, lighter, fruity with dragonfruit leading the charge and a noticeable salty finish. Definitely one to take the edge off a hotter day 👌🏻 The orange beast from one drop leans more on the smoothie style I’m really getting behind. Literally looks like a carrot smoothie, tastes of mango and banana in a thick goopy amazing soup. Sugar content high on this one! Day 8 of the @carwyncellars calendar saw @mollyrosebrewing Baubles Farmhouse ale enter into the world. Nick once judged one of my home brew saisons and the feedback he gave me was extremely useful so I knew this was going to be great. #Repost @beer_craftelle This double doggobrau XPA by @brightbrewery was part of this year’s @carwyncellars canvent (a very pup-ular canvent this year) 🐶 We love this brew because all proceeds go to the RSPCA. It was a great beer for the Christmas holidays and features El Dorado, Motueka, Mosaic, and Sabro hops. #Repost @the__hoptimist Darker Motives Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout @deedsbrewing - @carwyncellars in collaboration with @denverandliely 🏎️🍫 All my Christmases and birthdays came at once last week when I was invited to Carwyn Cellars and Denver and Liely's beer glass release. They treated us to not only a cheeky first glance at the glass, but also a side by side comparison of their glass vs a standard beer glass through a few beer tastings. I know there are many sceptics out there who just want beer to taste like beer, and maybe the small nuances of flavours don't justify the premium price for this glass wear, but let me tell you, drinking out of this glass was an experience and a life style, and one I wish to continue for the rest of my life! 😂😅 The lip on the glass holds carbonation, and re-carbonates as it goes onto your tongue, creating almost like a creaminess in the beer. In the words of Denver, this glass vs other glasses is like comparing a Toyota 86 to a Porsche 911. Both sports cars, will get you from A to B, but two totally different experiences. The glass is lead free crystal and hand blown, it's heavenly light to hold and gives balance and character to the beer that you just don't get from a normal glass. Although all three beers that we tried were fantastic, my favourite was Deed's BA Darker Motives (of course!). Shove your nose into the glass and smell that sweet sweet bourbon. A massive 14.1% Stout, starting with cherry coffee chocolate, rum raisin character and a light coconut ending. The more you drink, the more roast and bourbon character you get. The glass beautifully supports the rich chocolate, English ale fermentation character and dark fruit. This glass truly is an F1 car for your mouth. . . .
