My interpretations of the main five node monsters featuring my ideas/process for each one!

I was trying to make Angler look as much like an actual angler fish but I for some reason couldn't no matter how hard I tried and ended up just drawing it exactly the same but with fog.

Very disappointing on my part, but I got the hang of it for Blitz and Pinkie! For Blitz, I really leaned into the aspect of him being a viperfish n' all, differentiating him from the rest with a longer and thinner torso. Pinkie's design I think I like the most; I drew her to resemble a wilting tulip or rose 'cause. Lady. Pink :]

Froger and Chainsmoker is where I truly focused on coloring and shading, hence why this drawing turned out to be my second favorite! I drew Froger with this very bumpy skin to make her seem very frog-like, and gave her frog webbed feet instead of fins in an attempt to make her seem like this literal frog-fish mutant.

Chainsmoker being a blobfish and all, I made it that his actual skin was more slimy-looking compared to the rest. I tried giving him this big and ugly angler light to fit in with the rest of the gang but it just looked so...off, so I left him lightless and I'm honestly so glad I did.

personal take on pizzelle Literally not much is different the hat just bothered me a teeny bit. she does seem to be a baker so the chefs hat is ok ijust dont like how its strapped over his eyes in the acutal ydesign. its not "wrong" tho i just personally dont like it. like it doesnt fit their vibe right. idk. but im not their creator after all lol.

i also kinda removed those two little strands but thing is this sprite made me doubt whether thats actually part of the hat or if thats their hair. i wanted to remove it cuz i thought it was part of the hat and i didnt think it fit her but since now im unsure if thats actually part of her hair idk lol.

actually ill add these pizzanos too because coincidentally i doodled pizzelle next to him so it looks like shes abt to get knocked the fuck out

its honestly really disappointing to me at least that Adam is just gonna end up as a Mammon reskin. Like, I dunno I saw his design and I had some interesting thoughts about the first Man, yknow? I found it interesting that they have him demon like features, suggesting that maybe underneath his holier-than-thou appearance and attitude, he really isn't that different from the sinners he kills. But he hides that part away, acting formal and polite and as much of a good little Christian boy under the eyes of God. When God isn't looking though? He would show his true colours instantly....

But no. They just made the angel say fuck.

To her credit, she's tried to break free and impart on her mother and anyone who will listen through a series of coded blinks that she's being held hostage but you and Lorelai keep throwing her back in the ring and thwarting her escape. Just thinking about how Dean is this pissed about Rory's behavior but he's still completely unaware (and will never be aware) that she also kissed Jess and cheated on him 😽 But then he cheats on his own wife and then Rory cheats on Logan with Jess and then Rory has an affair with Logan so in the end they all cancel each other out I guess. The only one of our fickle quadrant of bed hoppers who never knowingly cheated on anyone and the only boy Rory never cheated on was Jess. We now return to our regularly scheduled programming.

*Rubs temples* look...ugh. I don't really condone Dean yelling at Rory in public. Maybe they should have "Gotten a room", as Rory is fond of saying after learning that term for the first time 2 weeks ago. But in light of Rory's shenanigans, I kind of understand. Not only that, but taking into the account that this scene signals his merciful and long anticipated stepping down as Rory's Primary Male Life Ruiner and handing that crown to Jess, I am waving my Dean Card. I'll give him this one. Let her have it. Get it out of your system. Things with Jess are going to be so much simpler! Yes indeedy, Rory Gilmore. You are going to be riding the train to Easy Street now! Every day with Jess Mariano promises nothing but rainbows, sunshine, and puppydogs made of cupcakes. Let the shit show commence. But first, a little light homocide.

By the way, I've blanked on Lorelai's whereabouts while all of this is going down. Lorelai when she returns and finds out Dean will no be longer coming around to "Change her water bottle"

ican i absolutely can i havnt been saying much abt my ocs because theres alot aboutthem so ivebeen trying to do it in chunks

'supernormal' is a 1-page tabletop game about superpowers by 'Ursidice' that murphy introduced me to and we played a oneshot a year ago and it had, normal and nonconsequential effects on us. we got really attached tothe characters we made and started playing this (really, REALLY SIMPLE mechanics) game as a like campaign and made a bunch more characters, i even made a combat mechanics addition for it once we needed one, and it just kept going. we had to make a tag for OUR supernormal ocs and game world bc 'supernormal' is a very common tag, so ours is 'murph an joanies supernormal'

unfortunately this is a very sustainable hyperfixation for me (me an murphy can just keep adding and adding and making new scenarios the skys the limit) so its goingto stick around for a long, long time ithink.

ihave been thinking about doing one of those "ask my oc something' things, to give some insight how they speak and such, but also ive been reallyyy wanting todo more animations too
