elena and emilio as co grade representatives & her learning how to lead the school and how to work together in creating a vision. i think it'd be cool if the two of them had to organize some event and it was a big deal

more about the futures of the characters!! what happens to elena jessi sasha and melissa!! does melissa work in software engineering?? i think she does

i also think that they could've wrapped it up nicely at the end of s3 and explained how elena found her 'raisin' by being orange bay's grade rep bc she liked leading and making a difference in her community and that translated to (eventually) the country

i guess it's safe to assume we'll see the immediate events leading up to the kidnapping? (also interesting to see that gabi's dad met sir/hugh prior to the kidnapping... i wonder if the actual abduction was something he planned or if it was more impulsive/panic-driven.)

"It's brilliant and fresh, but the pacing is horrendous. Everything, especially in the initial episodes, feels rushed. I like that Gabi has a love interest (the cop, portrayed by Brett Dalton) who isn't fugly and is clearly into her. Apparently, Found's writers have the backbone not to shy away from this. But by the time we meet them, they've already slept together, they've got inside jokes and secret looks that viewers have nothing to base on, and so we are completely robbed of the meeting-first-time-followed-by-torturous slow-burn that we're getting from, say, The Bear."

judging by both their different hairstyles (and his lack of facial hair) this flashback probably has to be taking place the schoolyear before gabi gets kidnapped, no? i wonder if it could end up having anything to do with annie, whose offscreen anticlimactic death is still nagging at me lol.

also, i find it interesting that the two times we see into his classroom and what he's teaching his students, it's poe (tragic, romantic figure) and doyle (father of modern detective fiction). not sure it means anything but i still find it a neat detail! i'm a little curious about what other units/courses he taught, and the other authors he covered.

(also i wonder what happened to her necklace. it popped out to me in the previous flashbacks to the day of the kidnapping, and here too. did she lose it while in captivity? did sir take it away because it was part of her life "before"?)
