carter had always been a very easy going and playful person, so playing along with her truly just came naturally to him — and he did think this kind of silly conversation ( because to him, that kind of thing didn't really exist in real life ) was all in good fun. freya  laughed  at  the  way  he  played  along–-  one  of  the  many  reasons  she  adores  him.  “ as  rumplestiltskin  from  once  upon  a  time  says–-  magic  comes  with  a  price.  sounds  like  it’s  a  saying  everyone�� knows,  yes?  that’s  why  i  said  i’ll  sell  my  soul. ”  sitting  back  in  her  seat,  she  stretched  her  arms  above  her  head  and  only  then  realized  she  forgot  to  tell  him  about  this  new  project  she  would  be  working  on.  “ i  forgot!  it’s  top  secret  information  for  now  so  you  can’t  tell  anyone  but  there  is  a  new  movie  coming  up–-  another  zombie  apocalypse.  that  aside,  i’ll  be  one  of  the  makeup  artists  working  on  the  zombies’  makeup! ”  she  was  quite  excited.

legacy has been working to strike a deal with NINTENDO, and after several months of negotiations, various legacy talents have been offered a contract. the company carefully sifted through the available artists (contract slots availabilities), looked for those with fitting images (portfolios if available), talent and some public recognition (minimum 25 notoriety, 25 acting and 50 modeling as of december 8). the chosen models have been divided in 4 groups:

with the announcement of the nintendo switch 2, the company has decided to show off the new console. artists who have been given contracts will participate in a special 'let's play' youtube series where they will play beloved nintendo games with the new console. for this video, both the artists and their screens will be recorded. so make sure to make it lively and interesting! anybody failing at this task might get their contracts cancelled and requirement reward declined.

while carter could be very casual and playful most of the time, it was never done in a malicious way and he always meant the words he said — even if it was hard to tell sometimes. hearing the other's response, however, he smiled warmly in appreciation. " since we've both said that we like each other's company, perhaps we can do this more often. " he hummed lightly, watching daeho turn his back to him to walk into the cafe and following after him shortly after.

embarrassment dissipates little by little, though it lingers in the corner of his mind. though daeho isn't ashamed per se, it's always a bit rattling to think how others will perceive his words. "i'll take it, thank you," it's a nice change, though, to have someone reply back in... earners? sincerity? he doesn't recognize anything else in that teasing tone, other than maybe amusement. it's a tiny miracle (it's not, he's been hurrying his step since the initial laughter) that the place appears in view, the perfect excuse for daeho to momentarily turn his back on carter while walking through doors. a moment for himself to recompose, return to that easy nature and not this slightly mortified piece of himself.

although carter teased him, he definitely had thought that daeho's words were very endearing — this was just the kind of person he was, always a little playful. " aw, come on, there's no need to feel awkward about it! " carter replied with a soft chuckle and a smile on his lips. " if it helps, i'll say that i appreciate being able to spend time with you too~ " he continued, tone genuine as he said such words.

how rude would it be to ... dash in the opposite direction right now? it's embarrassing that he says this out loud, even more so with carter's teasing response. daeho forgets not all should be voiced out. "please, go bite some rocks," it's a harmless comment, missing a lot of backbone behind it, and thrown into existence by his desire to have this moment be fleeting. though he doesn't find anything wrong with being sentimental (it's in his nature, after all), there is some degree of unbearable here. "if you keep it up, i'll double the food request."

" aw, i can't believe you're the cute type~ " carter couldn't help teasing in a lighthearted manner, especially after seeing the way daeho had gotten embarrassed by his own words. still, there was no hint of malice in his tone, a friendly smile still present on his features. " i'm sorry, but i can never forget that you were so sweet to me, i will cherish this memory forever. " he continued, still feeling playful.

"time spent with friends is always the most important," hello?? , he cringes a little immediately after the words leaves his mouth, a gesture of embarrassment contorting his features. he does live by those words but it's one thing to think them and another one to share them with someone else. "please forget i ever said that," he laughs a little to wear off the embarrassment, falling into step with carter. it's a comfortable pace, journey filled with not too much silence nor too much conversation.

carter had always been a very easygoing type of person, the kind to joke around in a lighthearted manner and not take anything too seriously — sometimes, even to a fault. although he had to end up offering more to daeho than he had done originally, carter didn't mind that at all. it was well worth the company, after all. starting the path towards the cafe he had in mind, the college student let out a soft laugh. " oh, thank you. i very much appreciate how generous you're being~ i hope i'm not keeping you from anything too important with my request, though. "

he grins, amused, enjoying it. the way carter bounces off his remarks entertain him, make whatever minutes pass go by as seconds instead. truly, the other could have bribed him with a drink only and he would have agreed right away. but how wouldn't he push for more if possible? "i'm in, lead the way. and don't worry, i won't overcharge you for keeping you company."

it wasn't often that carter cried about... well, anything. he had always been the type to take things lightly and brush off things that might upset him — but this was definitely far from being the case. he just liked teasing and joking around a little, and it seemed daeho had become a brief target of it. " oh god, no. i already spent so long at the library, i need a break from that place. there is this coffee shop not too far from here that i like going to when i have some time, so i thought i could take you there. it's not too crowded, and everything they have there is really delicious, so~ "

thank goodness not even eyes get watery, otherwise he'd be joining in within a second. "yeah, yeah," he brushes the comment off, making way through corridors. "anyone would think i'm asking for your life savings," he gives a pointed look at carter, before resuming their brisk pace... which reminds him, "where are we going? what are we doing?" he could very well be on his merry way home but alas, he's struck a bargain. "if you take me to the library, i might be the one crying," anywhere but there, he needs to socialize, not study.

" you're so mean~ " carter teased, not at all sounding or looking actually bothered by such words, taking it all as just simple banter and laughing it off. carrying his things for the next class along with him, carter hummed as he started walking, a look of amusement in his features as he turned his head to look at daeho. " of course not~ i will just do my best to enjoy it the most that i can, since it wasn't cheap~ " he teased, playfulness in his smile.

"cry about it," he adds with humour, though he gives a second glance to make sure that carter won't indeed cry about it. that'd be a tragedy, in fact. "right, sure, lead away," he tightness his backpack strings, gaze questioning for what the other might have in store. a hangout for a day is nothing, really, and he's merely tugging strings for amusement here. "are you trying to off me now that i've set such a high price? i feel you might."

while carter had originally said that half jokingly, he also definitely didn't mind just going along with it. after all, what would be the harm in that? he had always been very easy going anyway. her reply made carter let out a brief laugh, lips curling into a playful smile. " hey, it just seems like the most effective method, that's all. " he replied with a subtle shrug, continuing in a lighthearted tone. " hm... what about dinner with me somewhere after all that? "

although her words were unexpected and certainly creative, carter didn't think too much about it — after all, he had no reason to believe that such a thing would even be possible, considering the rather mundane life he had always lived. " now that sounds like a true bargain, " he grins at the other, more content with his negotiating abilities once this is settled. " good company and conversation? am i hanging out with someone else and not you , then? " he throws banter out easily, still glad to spend time with carter nonetheless. he just wants to ruffle some feathers to let the afternoon off to a good start.
