Nothing like having a depressive episode mid Bahama breeze birthday meal because some asshole thought it was a good idea to put mayonnaise in my carribeann style curry braised beef and I was already like super stressed from homework and that was the last straw. I’m pretty sure when it got sent back the chef mixed the sauce I didn’t like directly into the beef so I’d still have to taste mayonnaise. Like it’s not my fault you messed up the fucking sauce, chimmichuri does NOT have mayo in it. The chef literally swapped two of the sauces they had and just buried it under the meat in my little plantain cup. What an asshole. Usually I don’t send food back but this dish was truly disgusting, mayo makes the food damn near inedible for me I hate it so much, and why their white rice taste like rice pilaf?? I didn’t think a little curry beef and plain ass white rice was too much to ask but ok fuck me I guess. Cue loss of emotional control and hiding in the bathroom for ten minutes, shouldn’t be such a big deal but it straight ruined my special birthday dinner. I cannot wait for my boyfriend to come over tomorrow, we’re going to make pie and get Chinese food and it’s gonna make the bad of today go away
