Hi!

1. which character do you relate to the most from your fandom?

That would be Will. He's soft and quiet and he reacts to stuff in a way that's quite similar to mine, and idk, I have a weird relationship with him as a character. It's like I feel him close. I don't know if I'm making any sense, but I can't explain it better.

(also my friends say we're both equally wholesome lol)

4. what is your favorite CANON ship?

Joyce and Bob. I don't even know if they have a ship name, but there was so much love there. Joyce deserves a boyfriend as caring and sweet and honest as Bob was. And he was so nice to her kids! He would have been a wonderful stepdad for them. He may be a bit boring, but he was adorable and a truly good person. And he and Joyce looked so happy together ;;

5. who is your favorite character (and maybe why?)

This one depends on how I'm analyzing them. From an intradiegetic point of view, like how I like them as people, how I relate to them, how I think I would get along with them if they were true people I knew, I'd say Joyce and Will the most. She's so fierce of a mom, so loyal and brave, I really admire the kind of person she is. Regarding Will, I already talked about him in the answer to the first question, he's the one I relate the most to and he's very special to me.

From an extradiegetic point of view, like how I like them as characters, how they're developed and built, I can't choose between Mike and Steve. Mike is probably the most complex character in this show, we're shown multiple faces of him, how he is a loyal friend and a brilliant kid, honest and brave, and at the same time he's absolutely lost and doesn't know what to do half the time. He's a wonderfully fleshed out kid character. Steve, on the other hand, is all about development. I love how he's struggling from the beginning to discover who he really is, how he's way worse when he's around his idiot friends than when he's alone with Nancy, how he fucks up and learns and he messes up with Jonathan and then goes all the way to his house to apologize. I could talk about Steve's character development for hours.

First Stranger Things spring break exchange!

I’m happy to start the process of the first ever stranger things spring break exchange! I explained the process in a few of my other posts but here it is again:

The Google form opens tonight, and closes February 14 (but probably closer to sometime in the morning February 15 because of my schedule). You must answer the Google form to participate.

I will give everyone their partner’s names by March 1st. You will be giving in pairs- so giving to the same person you receive from- to make things simpler. I will act as communication between you and your partner. Your partner will be able to request specific ships or characters they do not want content for, please honor these requests.

Please tag me and your partner in your content. ALL content is allowed, including crossovers, so long as it is Stranger Things related. Please use #stranger things spring break exchange and #stranger things spring break exchange 2022 on tumblr, and on ao3.
