#sonic fandub #sonic the hedgehog #eggman #anyway how are y’all doing #my bf and i have been going ham with a deep vacuum for 2 hours because our bedroom flooded with water #and it smells SO BAD #and we didn’t even know that it was flooded because it started in the closet #the normal vacuum wasn’t doing anything so i went over to the neighbours and asked for his fancy water vacuum #AND ITS NOT REALLY DOING ANYTHING #SO IF YOU HAVE ADVICE PLEASE TELL ME #we’re so stressed what the fuck #if i get mold in the carpet i’ll be pissed #the second time i got mold sickness in a year #i am one with the mold babyyy #anyway shoutout to my partner he’s been great #in sickness health and mold poisoning #posting this as i take a break from cleaning my carpet #EDIT: I WASNT EVEN THE ONE WHO FLOODED IT #IT WAS MT BROTHER. HE WAS THE CAUSER OF MOLD TJE FIRST TIME TO #AND OF COURSE HE HAS NO CONSEQUENCES BECAUSE HE DOESNT SHARE A WALL WITH THE WASH ROOM #i needed to defend my innocence lol

also i think i am having a bad allergic reaction to the mold in my office. there’s mold in my office btw

#their solution was to clean the carpets and talking about hiring pros to come in and clean the walls #then sending out an email about how taking everything off the walls would too hard.#but there’s lysol wipes in the hall if you’d like to clean them yourself #anyways i started getting a really bad cough and a little congestion last week.#also had a covid exposure at the office so i was freaking + testing like crazy bc i was getting respiratory symptoms + mildly elevated temp #all negative‚ requested an extra remote day just to be safe. cough went away and i felt much better after a few days. figured it was a cold.#worked my first full day in the office again today and the cough is mysteriously back and worse.#now i’m no doctor house but —#ig my next move is getting tested for mold allergy?#and if i have to submit an ada request to have Working In A Place With No Mold be granted as a reasonable accommodation.#that will legitimately be the funniest thing ive ever done.#there is everyone’s too much personal detail liz update of the day We Live in A Society

#ive been working towards this goal for like 2 years lol #because its almost the ENTIRE house except the living room #so so much stuff had to be cleaned up and gone through #it stressed me out SO bad all the time #couldnt even relax because i was just like ‘i could be cleaning right now :/‘#the carpet had fucking MOLD in it #and i had to do 90% of the work myself with no help except moving large pieces of furniture #i was so MAD about the fact no one wanted to help!!!#but im much calmer now #the house doesnt STINK anymore

Nothing like a freak flash flood pouring into your dwelling to stress you tf out :c

#never happened here before so ig I thought I was safe in my ‘far-enough-inland’ bubble #wasn’t ready for the sudden daunting task of cleaning up/trying to salvage stuff/throwing so much out #it’s all I’ve been doing with every single free moment since Aug 18 #I’m very grateful i didn’t lose even more than I did #but also very sad that my childhood art got ruined. and a lot of books/shoes/other stuff that was so important to me :(#‘It was a once-in-a-century event here!’ the articles say #yeah but with climate change it’s probably going to happen more often now so imma be paranoid😭#I can put up with a lot living on long island but I don’t think worrying abt flooding is smt I’m cut out for #even the hurricanes we get nvr rly do much damage in the cozy area where I’m at. so I was woefully unprepared #my mental fortitude is not. is not fortified enough for this. help #i shouldn’t complain I know I know. Just need to take a breather and de-stress now that the week’s done and I’ve done all I can on my end #hopefully ppl can come rip out the carpets/sheet rock and replace them soon bc the stench of mold/mildew is getting pretty bad ugh

#i swear I am hearing stuff #it might be because this is an old house and those make noises sometimes #but maybe there's something #and maybe there's nothing at all and I'm imagining this #i think I'll clean my room sometime the next days....#it's overdue anyways there's this one corner where i haven't looked at in like two years out of fear what might linger in those depths #my room is a nightmare for people with dust allergies #carpet everywhwre last time i dusted off was too long ago to remember #there's some mold on my windows because i used to rarely open them #that was before I noticed that fresh air is really nice actually and i like breathing good #my couch creaks too and I know my heater sometimws makes strange noises #the boiler from my floors bathroom got the verdict “out of date and should probably be replaced''#it works well but now I'm a tad scared of it exploding #or giving me carbon monoxide poisoning #We're paranoid like that ig thats in up here nowadays #god I really should deepclean this thing sometime #by couch too i sleep on it every day so I seldom get the chance to really do something there #because. like. i kinda need that thing #but I vacuumed and where was a lot of dust #why do I live in filth I even try to keep it somewhat alright #sigh I'll just do what I can do for today and chamge my bedsheets #we'll see about the rest when we get there
