I COULD CRY)

Survey Thing

Relationship status: In a Long-Term relationship with Coffee. Favourite colour: Purple (runners up: Orange and Yellow) Lipstick or chapstick: All the Chapstick. I think I should invest stock in the stuff. Last song: The Bliss by Volbeat. So much Volbeat lately. Top 3 shows: Agents of SHIELD is the only one I watch religiously. I’m going to go with Daredevil and Jessica Jones as my other two -just finally wrapped on DD and slowly(so slowly) working my way through Jessica Jones. Top 3 ships: Marvel owns my Soul right now. Favorite ships are CarolXJess(Drew), MattXJess(Drew) - No thanks to Missgnutmeg and M2BE, and BuckyNat.

Carol Dancers/Jessica Drew, Carol is a soldier on leave, Jess is the morning barista at the coffee shop Carol visits every day.

She’s mostly pensive when she comes in, drinks her coffee quietly and looks out the window without saying a word or acknowledging other people in the shop. It’s obvious that she’s a soldier, though Jess couldn’t explain how she knew - it had to do with the way she held herself, the slight tilt of her chin and the air of confidence, maybe. She didn’t start coming around before two weeks ago, so Jess theorises that she’s either just moved into the ‘hood or is on leave - probably the latter, she doesn’t give off the air of someone who’s settling in, but rather someone who knows her way around the area. And well, Jess only started at this shop last month.

She drinks her coffee and Jess watches, surreptitiously, and it’s only when she leaves again that she looks at Jess, gives her a smirk and a flirtatious comment as she orders another to go. Sometimes Jess gets a knowing smile and an appraising look, and while Jess normally wouldn’t shy from it, this woman is a little…intimidating. Intimidating enough that Jess doesn’t ask for her number, or even her name, even if the woman’s been addressing her by name since day one.

Today she stays a little longer, leaning over the counter and grinning at Jess, giving her a fantastic view of her cleavage, and that has to be on purpose, hasn’t it? Jess flirts back, feeling more relaxed than she has in a while, and it isn’t until she’s left that Jess realises that she left her a name and a number with the five dollar bill. Carol. Good to know. She looks up and spies Carol outside the shop, giving her a wave through the window and what she’s sure is a wink.

Carol WOULD be the big spoon but Jess sprawls all over the place and makes it very hard to cuddle her.

who uses all the hot water:

Carol. She’s kind of a jerk like that and it makes Jess mad because Carol has WAY less hair than her and spends entirely too long in the shower.

most trivial thing they fight over:

Jess can never find her stuff and she always insists that Carol moved it, when in fact it’s just under a jacket or something. This understandably pisses Carol off.

who does most of the cleaning:

Jess. Not really because she wants to, but because Carol is kind of a disaster and SOMEONE has to clean it up.

what has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue:

Duh. Dog Cops.

who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working:

Jess, because Carol gets cranky when the heat doesn’t work and she tends to yell.

who steals the blankets:

Jess. Not really on purpose, but she kicks around and flails in her sleep and ends up taking the covers with her.

who leaves their stuff around:

CAROL.

who remembers to buy the milk:

Jess. Carol remembers the cat food but that’s just because she’s afraid Chewie will sit on her chest and suck the air from her lungs if she doesn’t.
