-David Tennant comes out as bisexual,

-tiktok makes a new trend where you sit in a busy intersection/road and try to make something with an easy back oven before you get ran over/ arrested/ removed,

-surge in cowboy aesthetic on Instagram where you wear jeans, eat beans and collect horse memorabilia, homosexual undertones optional but encouraged.

-pegging joke in new Dr who episodes,

-we get another equally hilarious fucked up painting restoration as the weird Jesus,

-Porygon is forgiven by Pokémon™ and Pikachu is held accountable for his crimes in a live action court room recording, the defender is wearing the chubby Pikachu costume and their lawyer is wearing Misty's outfit but with a red tie.

-Wednesday S2 has painter dude accidentally sleep paint himself a new face as the in universe excuse for changed actor.

-Scientists introduce rats to just dance, they start beating global top records within the first week,

-politicians start getting pelted with rubber chickens in public.

-Someone puts googly eyes on the Eiffel tower, three months later same thing with the statue of liberty.

Last but not least;

-Disney's first gay character.

Happy 2024!

Hi friends I've been missing for a bit on live. I have been on a trip for the last month and half. While on my trip I played a lot Stardew valley (of course) and as you can see I have gotten quite far on my private farm but I'll be back by the end of the week and I'm looking forward to streaming again!

Just finished a rewatch of Carol and Tuesday and I remember why I stopped caring about it. They have a trans character (who dies of course), but then decide that singing about mothers because “everyone has a mother” is a great revolution spurring song.

Sigh. Music is fun and a decent story, but really??? I mean I guess they even have a non-binary character that everyone misgenders too (so much that it feels like the show runners changed their mind about the character being non-binary) and the trans woman is a mildly abusive mother.

What is everyone’s obsession with mothers. Even Minecraft acts like having a mother is universal when it’s not true. It’s not a unifying force, really.

I love being a hater but I also love being an Enjoyer, so what I like to do is enjoy something so aggressively and deeply that I come to know everything about it, and bc I know everything, I can find (minor and major) things to complain about. as a fun activity. enrichment. but then I do that, and people think I actually hate this thing. they’ll be like, oh, good to know about (flaw), I was gonna check that thing out but now I’ll steer clear. you don’t get it. I’m complaining because I love it so much. hey wait come back. I’ve got some more stuff to nitpick

Do you know any mangas with good black representation ? Namely characters with black features because I feel it can be really tricky to implement them without seeming racist.

I think you can add black characters in manga without seeming racist!

And there are a few others too! I feel like anime and manga SHOULD add black characters without being racist or having weird and racist designs. I think anime and manga is moving in the right direction when it comes to black rep. And people should not be afraid to add characters like that. Many anime fans are black and love to see themselves!

I believe the more diverse an anime is the better!
