Carmen from Kawachi (Suzuki Seijun, 1966) yay i can finally scratch off his flesh trilogy. the least fleshy of the three. country girl moves to the city loss of innocence story, but with near no concern for consequence. a tetherless, impulsive, ever-playful forward spring examination of the traps prepped to exploit female independence. and nogawa yumiko just shaking it all off.
