7 Essential Tips to Choose the Best Limousine Service
Looking for a reliable and luxurious limousine service? Discover 7 essential tips to help you choose the best limo service for any event or business travel.
Whether you're planning a special event, business trip, or night out, choosing the right limousine service can make all the difference. With numerous providers offering a variety of services, knowing how to choose the best option is essential for a smooth, luxurious experience. Here, we’ll walk you through 7 essential tips to help you select the perfect limousine service that meets your needs.
(1)Check for Licensing and Insurance
Tip Overview: Before hiring a limousine service, ensure the company is properly licensed and insured. Why It’s Important: A reputable limousine service should have up-to-date licenses to operate legally and carry insurance for both the vehicle and passengers. This ensures your safety and protects you from liabilities in case of an incident.
(2)Evaluate the Company’s Reputation
Tip Overview: Researching a company’s reputation is critical for understanding the quality of service you can expect. How to Do It: Look for online reviews, testimonials, and ratings on platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau. Positive feedback about professionalism, punctuality, and customer satisfaction indicates that the company can be trusted for your special occasion.
(3)Inspect the Fleet
Tip Overview: The variety and condition of a company’s fleet can reveal a lot about its reliability and commitment to quality. What to Look For: Ensure the company offers a range of vehicles, from luxury sedans to stretch limos and party buses. Inspect the vehicles in person if possible or request detailed photos. The best limousine services maintain clean, well-kept, and modern vehicles to ensure a comfortable ride.
(4)Inquire About Chauffeur Experience and Training
Tip Overview: Your experience hinges not just on the vehicle but also on the quality of the chauffeur. Details: Ask about the training, background checks, and qualifications of the chauffeurs. Professional, courteous, and experienced drivers enhance the experience by offering a safe, seamless journey. Ideally, the chauffeur should have extensive knowledge of the local area to avoid traffic and ensure timely arrivals.
(5)Compare Prices and Understand the Cost Structure
Tip Overview: Pricing varies widely between limousine services, so it’s essential to compare quotes and understand what you’re paying for. Things to Note:
Hourly vs. Flat Rate: Some companies charge by the hour, while others offer flat rates for specific services.
Additional Fees: Check if the quoted price includes gratuity, fuel surcharges, tolls, or other potential fees. Hidden fees can turn an affordable ride into a costly experience.
(6)Verify Customer Service Standards
Tip Overview: Excellent customer service is a hallmark of a top-tier limo service. What to Assess: How responsive and helpful is the company during your inquiries? A business that is attentive and eager to answer questions, clarify doubts, and offer recommendations is likely to provide superior service on the day of your ride.
(7)Look for Customized Packages and Additional Features
Tip Overview: Some occasions require unique services, so consider a provider that offers tailored packages. Examples of Customization:
Event-specific amenities: Packages tailored for weddings, corporate events, or prom nights.
Entertainment options: In-car Wi-Fi, audio systems, and refreshments.
Special requests: Ensure the company can accommodate requests such as specific pick-up or drop-off arrangements or vehicle decorations.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the best limousine service involves more than just picking the lowest price or most popular company. By evaluating the service's licensing, reputation, fleet, and chauffeur expertise, you can ensure your transportation is luxurious, safe, and reliable. Don’t forget to ask about customization and transparency in pricing to tailor the service to your specific needs.

[oneshot ? idk wally x reader]
un edited so appolgise for things that are spelt wrong, and gramma.
Could not help myself after I saw the Wally Actor AU! AAAAAH so I’m creating this, because I can. I know I should be focusing on red phone, but this next chapter is going to take a bit dudes. So here is this.
“Are you Y/n? my newest inturne?” Their stood infront of you the person or puppet you would be learning from. Julie, from the show welcome home. You had never though a puppet would let you be their intern, Let alone on the show Your nieces and nephues adored but by some mircal you got the job.
“yesh! It’s a pleasure to meet you Julie Joyful! I’m very excited to work with you and help you with what ever you need! I look forward to learning from you as well Ma’am!”
“Oh don’t worry about formalities! Just call me Julie, Now I do need you to do me a small favour.” My eyes light up when she says this, I know interns are sometimes treated like dogs, but I didn’t care too much since this would be amazing on my resume.
“Sure thing Julie!” She gives me a small smile and her card.
“I would like a Carmel Frappuccino, with sprinkles and two pumps of vanila please! If you could et it here in at least 30 minutes would be-“ “NO Problem ma’am! I’ll get it right away!” I say rushing out the door, to get back in my car and drive to the nearest Starbucks. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be to work in film, But I wasn’t smart enough too get in to collage. But I was able to do a tafe course and work my way up from their. I’m still shocked she even hired me.
Getting out of the car and into the Starbucks a sigh, seeing the huge line.
“Oh god…” ----
“I wounder where my new intern is.”
“Intern?” Wally asks Julie a little confused, she had never mentioned any intern to him. Let alone hriing one.
“Yes! I just got her today, I saw her before and asked her to get me my drink but she a little late. I hope she’s alright!” Julie says, sighing Wally was not happy with this at all. Late on the first day and why wasn’t he told about this? They where probably just another human looking down on them. Thinking they could exploit poor Julie.
“MISS JOYFUL I HAVE YOUR DRINK!” The two puppets turn to see who was yelling, it was none other than her new intern! She was sweaty and holding an ice cold drink in her hands.
“I’m so sorry Miss Joyful! There was a massive line! And they stuffed up the order the first time so i-“ “Awe thank you Y/n! it’s no problem I understand, and please call me Julie!”
“Yes Ms. Julie is their anything else I can help you with?” she asks Wally rises an eyebrow at her a little, noticing her good posture and how she kept her hands together in the front folded nicely on top of each other.
“Could you get me some banana bread from the table? Wally, would you like anything?”
“Just a chocolate muffin cut into 4 slices and a silver knife, I can taste it when it’s wood.” Wally says this was a test honestly, he knew that she wouldn’t be able to keep up this good shared for too long. She’s probably heard from the other crew how much of an ass he is and is only being nice to get on his good side.
“No problem, Sir, I’ll get them for you guys!” Y/n stands about to leave before Julie calls out to her.
“And get yourself something! I don’t want you passing out on me!”
“Oh! Sure thing!” she finally leaves.
“Isn’t she adorable! She has a pretty good resume as well!”
“how so?”
“Well, she has done a cert 3 in childcare! So, she has a blue card! She worked in customer service for 4 years! She loved film though her G.P.A is low she worked very hard to be here! Her dream is to work in the film industry-“
“Acting?” Wally asks taking a sip of his mineral water with a lime in it.
“Nope!”
“Then why is her your intern?”
“Well, she said she wants to learn all aspects, she was very eager in the interview my agent said! And all employees described her as hard working!” Julie explains, Julie’s agent wasn’t a ray of sunshine, she would make Julie do some adds she didn’t like and use to force them to model on the side. That was before Wally straightened her out. Would she be happening to do this do make him angry?
“it took my a while to find a Silver Knife but I did! I brought a little butter thing just incase. I didn’t know if you wanted it buttered sorry!” Y/n says handing both of them what they asked for, She even gave wally a Metal fork. He was honestly a little shocked and weirder out.
“This is good! Thank you would you like to sit and watch with us?” Y/n was taken aback HELL WALLY WAS TAKEN ABACK.
“o-oh umm thank you yes please.” Y/n moves from the middle of them to Julie’s left and takes a seat on the ground, she opens the old bottle of water and takes a sip.
“Awe scared of me sugar?” Wally asks teasingly, Julie chuckles along as Y/n face heats up and eye widen.
“OH NO SIR! I DIDN’T MEAN TOO! I JUST-““ I don’t bite!” this embarrasses Y/n further and makes Julie crack up more.
“I- um. I know I just thought-““oh ignore him Y/n! he just teasing he does it to every one! OH my your redder then a tomato!”
“Or a apple!” the two continue to laugh while Y/n left their, but she doesn’t seem to mind all of that. She instead focus her attention on to the set. Soon enough the two puppet go on and talk about something else. That’s when she notices someone struggling with something.
“And then I heard-“ “Excuse me Ms Julie is it okay if I help that poor fella?”
“Oh yes of course, you can do what ever as long as you’re here when I call for you!” Y/n nods and quickly goes to the guy to help him lift the fake trees.
“Hey, let me help you with that!” Y/n says grabbing two of the trees from his arms, The guy looks confused at first but gladly takes the help.
“Thanks, we need to move these over here.” “No problem!” The two walks to the side and place the trees there. She dusts off her hands off from the and a joyful smile can be seen on her face.
“Which department are you in? by any chance?” The employee asks her,
“Oh, I’m the new intern for Julie Joyful I’m Y/n nice to meet you.” Y/n puts her hand forward to shake.
“Jack, you work with the puppets? Good luck ha-ha! See ya later kid.” He says walking. Y/n shows a face of confusion and tilt of the head as he walks away, but she walks back to her new boss.

Wanna know a 5 year truth bomb?
The same walmart super center I go to, was the first place I met Chan and another member. Maybe finally figured it out it was Felix.
Another thing. My life right now is spending like $200 on summer clothes from walmart. A six pack of Papst Blue Ribbon, Two Carmel M Cold foams for coffee. and Secet under arm shit for me and my mom. Then getting a $60 cash back. So might go out again to my hood I like alot where I saw Hyunjin the other night.
But the another truth bomb 14.5k in my bank account from my ex husbands progressive insurance because of the scar and car wreck. But getting completely over that. But thats surviving money for rent and if I allow some of it to be spent on jewelery for these guys thats major respect and service of love.

Lady C Tea YouTube 10/12/23 (a few nuggets paraphrased by me) by u/daisybeach23
Lady C Tea YouTube 10/12/23 (a few nuggets paraphrased by me) Greetings from Castle Goring!Let me read a statement from Harry, The Duke of Sussex. This is in relation to their attempts to use children and certain abuses online to further his and Meghan’s agenda of censorship. In that ridiculous symposium that he and Meghan were parachuted into by the largest company on earth, Blackrock. Harry said, “There is a reason why no one is working in this space. The size and power of these companies can make you feel scared and helpless. We all realize that.” Without realizing it, Harry is giving the game totally away, because HE is being backed by a large company and HE is not scared, nor is Meghan. In fact, he is using the company and they are using Harry and Meghan to increase a stranglehold on information. I have to give this a bit of a recap. They arrived in a 7-car convoy to travel 200 feet. They could have walked it in three minutes. Of course, that would have denied them to show how much they need security and how much they need 7 cars to protect them. What kind of protection are we getting against their word salad and rubbish? I suppose you must be careful about your carbon footprint but they do not. And, did you notice what she was wearing? She wore evening wear in the daytime, yet again. I have said this before. Meghan has no clue how to dress. She has no clue what is appropriate. She wore eveningwear to Trouping the Colour and church services during the day, in Britain. She wore a variation of the same outfit she wore to Ripple of Hope awards where she insists on showing us her big, broad shoulders. To wear evening wear in the middle of the afternoon, who does that except a tart or a scrubber? The woman is so inappropriate at all times it is beyond me. I don’t know if you noticed Catherine wore a smart trouser suit for the whole day. I don’t know if you noticed Meghan stopped off at a school on Brooklyn, Meghan wore spray on trousers. I don’t know if you have noticed but Meghan think she has the best figure and the best legs in the world when they are actually shapeless. She thinks her legs are the benchmark for leggy beauty. There is something deeply disconcerting about someone who is a public figure, objectifying herself. Remember she complained about being objectified by Deal or No Deal, but on two occasions in New York she objectified herself physically. The first time, she showed us her legs and chicken foot and then she showed us her bare shoulders. I am going to read a few remarks from the newspapers. This is going to show that despite Meghan and Harry’s efforts to be taken seriously, they are treated like a joke. Except for Harpers Bazaar who said she cemented her fashion icon status in an off the shoulder pantsuit. LOL….LOL….no, my dear…I was a student at the Fashion Institute. I am here to tell you that Diana Vreeland and Carmel Snow would be spinning in their graves that the magazine they made famous would make such a ridiculous statement. And when is Meghan going to stop emulating Medusa? We already know you are just like Medusa. The New York Post, Page Six, Associated Press and Town and Country all mentioned Harry and Meghan made their first return to New York after their “near catastrophic car chase.” Oh my was that the two hour car chase where they were traveling at two miles per hour? Sniff Sniff. The whole thing was a study in indignity, rampant exhibition of greed and power grabbing.

Fan-zone

The Ultimate Guide to Black Car Services in NYC
When you think of New York City, images of bustling streets, iconic yellow cabs, and the ever-busy subway system might come to mind. But there's another, more luxurious mode of transportation that savvy New Yorkers and visitors alike opt for: Black car services. This upscale alternative offers a blend of comfort, convenience, and a touch of class. In this guide, we'll explore everything you need to know about Black car services in NYC, from their history and benefits to how to choose the right service for your needs.
A Brief History of Black Car Services
The concept of Black car services originated as a response to the need for a more refined transportation option in cities. While taxis are great for quick rides, they often lack the comfort and reliability that many desire. Black car services filled this gap by offering professional chauffeurs, clean and well-maintained vehicles, and a more personalized experience.
Why Choose a Black Car Service?
Comfort and Luxury: Unlike traditional taxis, Black car services provide high-end vehicles, usually from brands like Mercedes, BMW, and Cadillac. The interiors are plush, and the ride is smooth, making your journey comfortable and enjoyable.
Professionalism: Drivers for Black car services are not just drivers; they are chauffeurs. They are trained to provide excellent customer service, maintain a professional demeanor, and ensure your safety and comfort.
Reliability: Punctuality is crucial in New York City, where being late can mean missing important meetings or flights. Black car services are known for their reliability, with drivers often arriving early to ensure you're on time.
Privacy and Safety: With a Black car service, you can expect a higher level of privacy and safety. The cars are maintained to high standards, and drivers are often background-checked and professionally trained.
Fixed Pricing: Many Black car services offer fixed pricing, so you know the cost upfront, unlike taxis that charge based on time and distance, which can vary with traffic.
Popular Black Car Services in NYC
Uber Black: Uber's premium service, Uber Black, offers luxury vehicles and top-rated drivers. It's a popular choice for those who want the convenience of Uber with the luxury of a Black car.
Lyft Lux: Similar to Uber Black, Lyft Lux provides high-end vehicles and professional drivers, catering to those who want a more upscale experience.
NYC Limousine: Known for their extensive fleet of luxury cars and limousines, NYC Limousine offers a variety of services, from airport transfers to corporate travel.
Dial 7: A staple in NYC, Dial 7 offers reliable and professional car service with a range of vehicles, including luxury options.
Carmel Car & Limo: Carmel has been serving New Yorkers for decades, known for its affordability and wide range of vehicle options, including luxury sedans and SUVs.
How to Choose the Right Black Car Service
Determine Your Needs: Are you looking for airport transportation, a ride to a special event, or corporate travel? Identifying your specific needs will help you choose the right service.
Check Reviews and Ratings: Look at customer reviews and ratings on platforms like Yelp or Google. This will give you an idea of the service quality and reliability.
Compare Pricing: While luxury comes at a price, it’s essential to compare rates among different services. Some might offer promotions or discounts for first-time users or specific routes.
Consider Vehicle Options: Depending on your preference, you might want a sedan, SUV, or even a limousine. Check if the service offers the type of vehicle you need.
Availability and Booking Process: Ensure the service is available when you need it, and check the booking process. Many Black car services offer easy online booking or mobile apps for convenience.
Tips for Using Black Car Services in NYC
Book in Advance: If you have a specific time in mind, especially during peak hours or for special events, it’s wise to book in advance to ensure availability.
Communicate Special Requests: If you have any special requests, such as child seats or additional stops, communicate them at the time of booking to ensure the service can accommodate them.
Be Ready on Time: Black car services are known for their punctuality, so be ready at the designated pick-up time to avoid any additional waiting charges.
Tip Appropriately: While gratuity may be included in some services, it’s customary to tip your driver for exceptional service.
Enjoy the Ride: Take advantage of the comfort and luxury of your ride. Whether it’s catching up on emails, relaxing, or enjoying the sights of NYC, make the most of your Black car experience.
The Future of Black Car Services in NYC
As technology continues to evolve, so does the transportation industry. Black car services in NYC are likely to see several trends and advancements:
Sustainability: With an increasing focus on environmental responsibility, many Black car services are incorporating hybrid and electric vehicles into their fleets. This shift not only helps the environment but also attracts eco-conscious customers.
Enhanced Technology: From advanced booking systems to real-time tracking and feedback, technology will continue to play a significant role in improving the customer experience.
Personalization: Expect more personalized experiences, with services tailoring rides to individual preferences, from music and climate control to preferred routes.
Increased Competition: As more companies enter the market, competition will drive innovation and potentially better pricing for consumers.
Safety Protocols: In a post-pandemic world, heightened safety and sanitation measures will remain a priority, ensuring passenger confidence and trust.
Final Thoughts
Black car services in NYC offer a premium alternative to traditional transportation options, combining luxury, comfort, and reliability. Whether you're a local or a visitor, these services provide a seamless way to navigate the city with style and ease. By considering your needs, comparing options, and following our tips, you can enjoy a top-notch experience that elevates your time in the city.
Whether it's for business, leisure, or a special occasion, a Black car service can transform your journey into an experience to remember. So, the next time you find yourself in the Big Apple, consider opting for a Black car service and enjoy the ride!

AI Overview
Amazon acquired Whole Foods Market on August 28, 2017 for $13.7 billion. The deal was announced on August 24, 2017.
The acquisition marked Amazon's entry into the physical grocery market. Amazon has since made changes to its logistics, including:
Off the shelf (OTS): Software that allows for quicker item transitions
Daymon: A retail strategy firm that handles inventory and in-store displays
Prime Now: Amazon's delivery service that offers two-hour delivery for orders of $35 or more
Whole Foods was facing financial trouble before the acquisition, with same-store sales declining 1.5% in 2017. The grocery chain was also behind its competitors in technology and loyalty program development.

The River Riseth
The light has dawned upon us. God is good! The rainy season usually runs from July to December, but was late in arriving this year. We are certainly experiencing it now! We have had heavy rains, with a few very small breaks when we get to see a patch of blue sky, for the last four days, and this is expected to continue at least through Wednesday. The river is rising, and we are glad that we are 13 feet in the air. We have moved things out of the gym downstairs and are prepared to move the car to higher ground if necessary. Our neighbors just down the river in the peninsula evacuated yesterday.
A couple of the bridges to San Ignacio are impassable. We usually do our grocery shopping there or in the "twin" town of Santa Elena just across the bridge. Because we had things to pick up in the opposite direction, we went grocery shopping in Spanish Lookout yesterday instead. Yet, again, we know we were being looked after and guided by His hand.
We won't be able to get to Mass today, but are hoping we can get into the village for a Communion Service.
We drove into San Ignacio Wednesday morning for 6:30 am Mass. This was the only Mass celebrated for All Saints Day. When I called the parish office on Tuesday for the Mass schedule, the receptionist seemed a bit confused that I was asking if there were additional Masses for the Holy Day. All Souls Day -Dia de Los Muertos- is a much bigger observance here. Both a morning and evening Mass were celebrated and in more than one village. In some locations especially Benque Viejo, about a 40 minute drive from us where the SOLT missionaries reside, El Finados is celebrated on Oct. 31 and concludes with the All Saints Day vigil Mass. Candles are lit to show the way for the departed to return, as it is believed that in the month of October, the dead are allowed to visit and walk among the living. At the end of the journey, the living throw a going away party with the ‘El Finados’, meaning ‘the final’, marking the end of the journey. We have also been told that Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Benque Viejo is the best place to experience the Easter Vigil Mass. We are looking forward to that. Thankfully, that is celebrated during the dry season!

Officials close five shops across Derby in illegal vape crackdown
Council officials have closed five shops and seized nearly half a million pounds’ worth of illegal vapes from across Derby – and are set to use dogs to find more.
Derby City Council officials have been so prolific in their seizure of illegal vape items that they have had to buy an extra storage container for the evidence.
This is linked to evidence of primary school and secondary school pupils smoking vapes.
The total amount of illegal vapes seized from shops in the city and a Derby car found in Nottingham is worth £491,333.
Of this, 32,000 illegal vapes worth £432,000 were found in the car, with 4,395 illegal vapes worth £59,333 found in Derby shops.
To date, five shops have been closed, with one ordered to do so by a forceful “closure order” signed off by a judge, with items seized from 34 shops in total.
In January this year, the city council identified that shop which was closed by a court order. This was Spondon Local (also known as Spondon Mini Market) at 90 Sitwell Street.
The city council found the shop selling illegally imported and counterfeit cigarettes and tobacco and selling vapes to local West Park School pupils. It also found vapes which do not comply with UK laws, resulting in its forceful closure for three months.
A new council report says there are still three ongoing investigations into shops suspected of distributing illegal vape products and three warning letters have been issued.
The council has executed six search warrants with three resulting in “non-compliant/counterfeit” vapes being found.
Meanwhile, £6,241 in cash was seized under proceeds of crime charges, with a proportion of this also relating to illegal tobacco items.
The council has received 36 complaints relating to the underage sale of vapes.
During a city council health scrutiny meeting this week (October 3), Donna Dowse, the authority’s Trading Standards service manager, said vapes had been linked to “gang warfare and grooming”.
She said vaping had been reported among both primary and secondary school children, who are all underage.
Ms Dowse said tobacco dogs were often deployed to help search shops for illegal tobacco and that dogs were now being trained to find illegal vapes.
She said people seeking to hide illegal tobacco and vapes were “getting more creative”, including a shop in the city centre hiding items in an electronically activated panel in a floor tile.
Cllr Carmel Ashby said the “terrible growth” in vape shops “in every part of the city” were “becoming a scar on the city”.
Ms Dowse said there was currently no licensing legislation for vape shops to restrict their practices, with anti-social behaviour issues the only current way to enforce some kind of action.
Robyn Dewis, Derby’s public health director, said vapes were a useful tool to help people quit smoking, with clear evidence it was a “better option” for health purposes.
However, she said there was no evidence yet about the long-term impact of vapes on health, in comparison to smoking.
She said: “It is illegal vapes and underage sales that we are very concerned about, which can lead to ongoing addiction.
“Some flavours being promoted that are specifically attractive to children, like bubblegum, that are clearly marketed to a particular age group.
“Nicotine is very addictive and if started at a young age could become a lifelong habit.”
She said the “doctoring” of vapes with “cannabis and other drugs” was “definitely happening”.
The council is working with head teachers and the university to help spread advice about the issue.
Cllr Nicola Roulstone, chair of the meeting, said she started smoking cigarettes at age 12 and now had a lifetime dependence on nicotine, and found the trend of vaping among school pupils “really concerning”.
She said: “I think we are probably just touching the outskirts of this in terms of the number of shops and online issues we are facing with this – I know myself having teenage children – where friends of theirs have met people online who are selling a vape.”
Councillors asked that money seized from illegal suppliers should be funded back into the council’s work to combat their distribution.
