picture this - l’oreal wants to show that their hair products are so good they can even overcome helmet hair, and who better to advertise that than an f1 driver who’s whole job requires a helmet ? so of course they contact carlos sainz, perfect-hair-ambassador first and driver second. they get him on set, they shoot him coming up on his ditzy bike. he gets off, takes of his helmet, all the hairdressers rush to fix his hair for the next shot, director’s about to cut and prepare for the perfect hair shot next, but oh look, no cut, no fixing required, there’s no helmet hair in sight, he looks ready.
