Angel dust, Husk, Alastor, Charlie and Nifty x injured Reader

Angel dust

★ Oh he's a crying mess when he hears about what's happened. Nobody sees him for a few days because he locked himself in his room. He only comes out after you've waken up/ask to see him.

★ He makes jokes about how you can never strip on the pole anymore. Humor seems to be how he copes. Other than that he says close to you and is a bit more clingy than he was before.

Husk

★ Two words, silent rage. When he hears that you are in the hospital after having your legs mangled off you can feel the anger radiating off of him. It feels like there's a massive amount tension in the room and the smallest thing will set him off.

★ Him having a job where he just sits and checks people in/out is perfect because you don't need legs to "sit still and look pretty" (Alastors words, not his).

Alastor

★ First of all, whoever thought they could hurt you and get away with it has another thing coming, a very dangerous and very deadly demon is out for their blood. And trust me, he won't be merciful.

★ Secondly, he insists on giving you the best treatment that hell has. A surprising amount of skilled doctors have been sent to hell, apparently. He leaves a radio in your bedroom while you recover.

Charlie

★ After learning that you where hurt she goes into panic mode. Nobody can calm her down and nothing is going to stop her from seeing you.

★ She keeps her eye on you while you recover and brings you meals and things so you don't get bored. Things like food, water, books and videogames. If the hotel didn't have wheelchair accessible doors it shure does now!

Nifty

★She takes some time away from her work to take care of you, Charlie was more than willing to grant her some time off so she was able to help you learn to use a wheelchair.

★Like Charlie, she is going to be your personal nurse untill you feel better/recover. But unlike Charlie she also where's a WW2 nurse era outfit while doing so.

GunnTech AU Character's Favorite Animal Headcanon to Little to None Explanation

or it's 2024, my current hyperfixation is @elmushterri 's GunnTech AU and I don't care anymore

Connor: Cats in general (for obvious reasons), but Stray and Feral cats have his whole heart. Almost every time he goes out for a run or whatever he'd bring a backpack with cat food, treats, maybe even cheap water bowls and leave them where he knows there's a ton of strays.

Greg: Geckos, it's Lizards in general but geckos are his obvious Top 1

Amaya: Everyone thinks is Owls (for obvious reasons), they were when she younger, but is currently Moths.

Nori: Crickets since they were young and Maine Coons, he thinks they match his own glamourous style sooo perfectly. They also do the 'leave food for strays' thing with the ninjalinos but incluing dogs, also he swears there's someone else feeding a specific Cat colony and reallyyy wants to meet them. (Of course it's Connor, I'm a sucker for this kind of thing)

Romeo: Ants. His mom definitely helped him do an ant colony in a bottle or a jar and he still has It, upgraded of course, but he keept the original jar.

Luna: Ferrets. Tiny, but mighty. When she was younger it was Moths and Owls.

Cartoka: Rabbits. Will correct anyone who calls them Roddents, they're Lagomorphoes.

Carly: Turtles. Everybody thinks she and Greg bonded at some point because they think their favorites are very similar, but they actually have regular arguments about the topic because Carly thinks 'Amphibians are superior' and has gotten on Greg's nerves once or twice.

Isabella "Octobella": Absolutely loved Octopous prior to GunnTech, because of its intellegence; then in GunnTech she got bullied for that, got the nickname then the transformation happened and started to dispite them (and herself). Later in life she started to redirect that anger towards GunnTech and work on her self-steem, but currently if you ask her she'll respond Shrimps. A Ninjalino asked her and agreed with the Shrimp answer saying they were cool, so she's a little more confident about that liking.

Dylan: He reallyyy wants to say Triceratops, but thinks is too childish so he says Rhinos

An Yu Guō: It's a tie between Iguanas and Dragonflies

Badriya "Bastet": She really thinks any type of feline would be unoriginal, so she goes with Bettles. Except if it's Connor asking, then it's Cheetahs

Rhiannon "Ripp": Wolfs. When she was younger she adored the whole 'Wolfs are solitary, cool and edgy' type of media; but now she's more leaned towards the 'being a pack' idea.

Hywel "Howler": Deers, oddly enough.

Kevin: Pigeons. He really resonates the whole 'all the Pigeons in the US are the decendants of old Messenger Pigeons and were abandon after they were no longer of use and became feral' thing, so he has a lot of respect for them and feeds them seeds, not bread.

Ivan: Polar Bears. He knows it's basic but doesn't care.

Newton: Fireflies.

Lily "Lilyfay": Buterflies and Sea Angels, just because Newton show her a picture and she thought it was super cool and pretty.

Daisy (Ninjalino): Hamsters

Eloide Mecano (Romeo's mom): Frogs and Toads. Not in a 'I want to dissect them' way, in a 'I have large specialized terrariums for each species that I have' and 'I love their skin's texture' kind of way.

Maria Martinez (Connor's mom): Fancy Cat Breeds like Ragdolls, Persians, Bengalis, etc. but NOT Maine coons because She thinks they're 'too much like dogs', she also goes to Cat Shows but doesn't participate. As well as thinking Strays are dirty and dangerous, so Connor has to hides the 'feeding strays and feral' thing (Shut up, I like RomComs)

Kimiko Kobayashi (Amaya's Aunt): Poodles. She grew up with standard poodles, currently has toy poodles and She reallyyy wants to have a Royal-Size at some point. Plus, She participates in Dog Shows; if it's one of 'the Big ones' there's usually a Cat Shows happening in the same place so I imagine Maria and her having coffee together and talking trash about EVERYONE

Grayson Gunn (Greg's Uncle): Gigant Scolopendra

Phinneas Gunn: He denied this multiple times trough his life for various reason, but Koalas

Team 5Ds reading headcanons

So started thinking about what type of books certain characters would read, and this ended up extending to the rest of the cast. So here are what I've thought of:

Yusei:

Mostly reads nonfiction, such as engineering textbooks and user manuals

Martha's orphanage had a lot of old children's books that she used to teach the kids how to read, but Yusei outgrew them pretty quickly

Was hard to find good textbooks in the Satellite, so growing up, most of them were long out of date. But they helped him learn how to repair scrapped electronics

Often gravitated towards books written by "Dr. Fudo"

Sometimes reads Duel Runner magazines to stay up to date

Akiza has convinced him to try some mystery novels, but he is stupid good at figuring out the mystery halfway through

Favorite fairy tale is The Tale of Princess Kaguya

Jack:

Reads newspapers and dueling magazines, usually with his morning coffee

Looks for articles about himself or written by Carly first

Is very up to date on politics

Growing up, he was the designated storyteller whenever Martha was busy. Yusei was a better reader, but Jack was better at setting the mood and doing the voices

Favorite fairy tale is Jack and the Beanstalk

Akiza:

Was a lonely kid, so read a lot

Reads a bit of everything, but her favorites are mystery novels, poetry, and fashion magazines -Prefers romance as a side plot rather than the main genre

Convinced the group to watch a movie adaptation of a murder mystery she'd read, then Yusei points out an inaccuracy in the train design and Akiza nearly combusts because he was very close to spoiling the twist that exposes the murderer

Sometimes writes poetry, but always burns the notebook when it's filled

Favorite fairy tale is Beauty and the Beast

Crow:

Canonically learned to read from Duel Monsters cards, Martha made sure he caught up when she adopted him

Reads more to his kids than for himself

Has a library card and uses it purely to get requested books for his kids

Sometimes reads comics and graphic novels, but more for the art than story

If he went to school, he'd be the type of kid that watched the movie to write a book report

Favorite fairy tale is The Ugly Duckling

Luna:

Is a big reader, spent a lot of time in hospitals or on bed rest so picked it up

Main genres are fantasy, fairy tales, and folk tales -Likes anything that involves dragons, fae, or witches the most

Also sometimes reads ecology books; knows a lot of obscure insect facts

Her and Leo have library cards and go once a week

Has gotten in trouble for reading in class

Favorite fairy tale is between Rapunzel and Hansel and Gretel

Leo:

Reads almost exclusively comic books and manga (but would be a Percy Jackson kid if it existed) -Favorites are the Elemental Heroes and Neo Spacian comics

Exchanges comics with Crow a lot

His dad would always give him the comic and puzzle pages in the newspaper

Is really good at solving the crosswords and sudoku puzzles

Has also gotten in trouble for reading during class

Collects cutouts from dueling magazines that he likes best, most are of Jack but has a mini collection of Yusei too

Favorite fairy tale is between Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Hansel and Gretel

Carly:

Used to read a lot as a kid, but has less time for it than she'd like as an adult

Mostly reads news articles and magazines, especially dueling magazines, but that's 50% for work -Looks for anything featuring Jack first

Main genre of choice is romance of any kind

Jack once read one of her romance novels while he was hiding out at her place...he regrets it

Used to write a blog for dueling news in college, but stopped when she started working

Is into bullet journaling

Favorite fairy tale is The Little Mermaid

Misty:

Actually doesn't read much fashion magazines, but studied Fashion History in college and often reads books on that

Her main genre of choice is horror, prefers psychological and gothic horror -Listens to audiobooks on long plane rides

Also reads a lot of cooking and baking books, likes trying out new recipes

Used to be an avid follower of Carly's blog

Very sporadic taste

Favorite fairy tale is Swan Lake, her family used to watch the ballet every Christmas

Kalin:

Is not picky, reads out of boredom so will read literally anything that comes his way -Likes educational books the most

Books in Satellite often got burned for warmth, so not a lot of options available

He would dig through the dump for things to sell as a kid, but books weren't worth much so he'd just keep the intact ones

Read a french language textbook once and now can read in fluent french, but his pronunciation is terrible because he's rarely heard it spoken

Would eventually start a library in Crash Town

Doesn't have a favorite fairy tale (it's Cinderella)

Greiger:

Reads a lot of mythology and folk tales

Started with telling the tales to his younger siblings and younger kids in his village, eventually got interested in the mythology of other cultures as well

Got really interested in Egyptian mythology and Duel Monsters' origins in it

Likes Inca mythology the most (because it's what he grew up on), but couldn't pick a favorite tale if he tried

Much of true detective season 1 takes place in 2012 and are we forgetting what an unhinged year for pop music that was. HEESEUNG, THE TYPE TO stare you down for good couple seconds, trying to decipher whether or not you’re actually being for real, then let out the loudest groan when he realizes that, in fact, you’re being very much for real. then, with as much patience as he can muster, he gives you a surprisingly long list of logical reasons for why he could never date a fucking bug, and say that your worm self would probably haunt his ass in all of his nightmares  

JAY, THE TYPE TO tell you he would build you an aquarium out of the finest glass and plant your favorite flowers which are just as pretty as you are, and also he would make you a slide made out of grass, and when you giddily ask him “really???”, he just grumbles out a cranky no and turns his head the other way, falling back asleep within mere seconds

JAKE, THE TYPE TO be sweet about it and actually mean it. he pushes aside all of his logical thinking and the rather impressive scientific knowledge, and promises that if the scenario ever came to reality he would take care of you with all of his heart, carry you in a little container with grass and a ladybug he’d catch and imprison for you so that you wouldn’t be lonely, and he’d do all that's humanly possible to find a cure for you and bring you back to your pretty human self

i know we never got to see it for either angela or nyla when they had their babies, but i've always had this headcanon that whenever someone at mid-wilshire welcomes a new member into their family grey starts roll call with a picture of their little one, along with the standard criteria next to it, ya know, height/weight/length/etc. and then everyone does a drumroll at their tables as he does a dramatic name reveal, and i just hope that one day in the future we'll actually get to see him do so for tim and lucy. it would be so cute. 🥹🫶
