The cast seems to have been split almost exactly in half. Maybe the other kids are just at a different school? It's plausible. So many kids could be transferred to KG2 because they were already low on students after Madison & Ron were kidnapped and because they had such nice facilities. They could afford elevators and science practicals, different lunches every day and toys for the kids to play with. But this new school? Their principal is missing. The whole place is dripping with green goo. There's graffiti on the wall, a gator in the pool, and they didn't seem to even have a lunch lady until Applegate showed up. They're significantly more underfunded, and seem to be smaller (e.g. 1 classroom compared to 2 classrooms and a gym). Perhaps the others are just at Kindergarten 4.

It just seems a little odd that there are so many kids missing. Billy & Lily could just be investigating again, Madison & Ron recovering from being abducted, Penny is most likely dead for good and it doesn't sound like Ozzy's mom would approve of the state of the new school. Perhaps Buggs is just skipping, maybe Jerome is actually having a day to mourn. Danner could be dead, or went somewhere else since he could no longer help out with experiments. Bob is a janitor, he's not restricted to kindergartens. Maybe the KG1 Hall Monitor was fired for smoking or something. Margaret probably couldn't get a job here since the female principal only hired her because she was her sister, Agnes is a dumpster woman who'll probably just find another dumpster. But that is a lot of characters to cut out. Here's hoping we see at least a couple in the new game! :D
