🛑Invisible Red Light, Green Light!✅ ft. Caregiver!Izuku & Tiny!Katsuki

I can imagine Katsuki being age regressed and following Izuku around as he hugs Bomb to his chest, and whenever Izuku turns around and addresses him he just freezes in place and avoids looking at him, acting like he’s not there at all. At first, Izuku was stumped when he didn’t get a response to his questions, (“Oh hey Kacchan! Are you feeling little today? … um, Kacchan?” Katsuki just looks away from him everytime and hides a little behind his lamb plushie with a small pouty frown until he turns back around and keeps on walking) but overtime he just learned to chuckle and peek back at him every once in awhile to check in as Katsuki quietly followed him around, never really wanting to be acknowledged, but still wanting to be close (he secretly loved his attention, if his blushy little cheeks didn’t give him away♡)

Izuku who finds out he is regressing around Kacchan once he does some research.

Before they would just call it his "shut down" time. Where he would curl up next to his best friend (preferably in his comfy bed with him, but the common room couches work too, or his mother's couch) and put headphones on and not say a word. He would put on a playlist of acoustic covers, a few video game soundtracks (mainly Minecraft and Animal Crossing), and instrumentals. A playlist of soft music helps to clear his mind and make him feel fuzzy.

He and Kacchan don't speak. Heck, sometimes the blond does nothing to recognize the other's presence besides moving his arm to the back of the pillows or couch so Izuku can tuck himself right up next to his warm body.

They communicate through texts during this time. Most of the time Izuku is already on his phone (scrolling hero blogs, social media platforms, or just cute pictures he has saved on his Pinterest boards) and so Kacchan (who is probably on his own phone as well) will just text Izuku his questions so that he doesn't have to stop listening to his music or anything.

And his questions are never too heavy or serious. Always just:

you okay?

do you need anything? water? snacks?

you mind if I turn something on the TV?

They sit like that for hours or more, always calm and always peaceful. It is nice for Kacchan as well, getting to take care of his best friend and keep them both safe. It felt like winning to him.

Izuku doesn't even realize he's regressing until much later; he finds out about regression and his whole world unlocks.

He goes to Kacchan about this and the blond just says, "wait you didn't know that was what was happening?"

From there they develop a mutually established caregiver/little relationship. Izuku gets some of his first little gear (a chew necklace and an All Might-themed stuffie) and his mind eases into it perfectly.

It has been perfect all along, but not having more knowledge about it helps the both of them.

Midoriya and Kirishima noticed a shift in their dynamic it started the week Bakugou was away for hero work. She acted normally the first few days he was away but the last few she wouldn’t stop crying. Out of headspace she understood that he was working but in her headspace she felt alone.

While she had two of her caregivers it still felt weird for Bakugou to not be there. He was the one that would read her bedtime stories and make sure she ate her vegetables. Yet without him there she felt as if she couldn’t do those things.

It took everything in Midoriya and Kirishima to try and calm her down at nights. They tried their luck at reading her bedtime stories but it wasn’t the same. The way he used silly voices for characters or would cut her carrots up into little stars. She missed it.

“How about Llama Llama?”

“No…”

“What about-”

“No, wan daddy.”

“I don’t think this is working, Eijirou.”

So the day that Bakugou returned Midoriya and Kirishima were relieved. Bakugou knew the second he got home that she was less than corporative with her other caregivers. It was evident in the dark circles under their eyes and the concern they held when she finally saw Bakugou.

Y/N on the other hand was happy as she no longer had a reason to cry at night. The second dinner was over and she had her bath she crawled her way into Bakugou’s lap. Her head was against his chest as she listened to his heart beat. He didn’t waste time as he rubbed her back in a soothing manner.

“I’ve heard you’ve been crying all week, what’s that about?”

She let out a small noise of surprise at his words her pacifier discarded as she looked up at him.

“I know it sometimes seems scary when one of us is away from you. But no matter what we will always come back, understand?”

She nodded her head listening to him speak as she did her best to process his words.

“Good, but also remember that when one of us is away the other two still love you just as much. We all hate to see you cry and it hurts when you only want one of us.”

Thinking back on the week she remembered how distant she was with Midoriya and Kirishima. How she would cry even when they did their best to cheer her up and make her smile. She knew they were trying their hardest to make her happy but she didn’t care much at the time.

Bakugou’s eyebrows furrow at her warbling bottom lip, “no need to cry muffin, they still love you. It’s okay..”

The sound of her crying alerted Midoriya and Kirishima who made their way into the bedroom. “Is she okay?” “Are you alright, baby?”

The concern in their voices made her sniffle was she reached out for them. Her arms didn’t stay empty for long as Kirishima followed by Midoriya wrapped her up in a hug.

“Sowwy.”

“Don’t be sorry, baby.”

“Yeah we understand, Izuku cries a lot when Katsuki leaves too.”

“Eijirou! I don’t cry!”

“Sure.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?!”

“It means sure.”

Y/N didn’t care much for their argument as she snores lightly with her head on Bakugou’s chest. A smile on her face as she snuggled against the rather explosive man, happy.

“Cmere Kacchan, I think you need some quiet time.” Izuku says with a small chuckle and holds his arms open with a smile.

Kacchan throws his crayon on the table with a huff as he gets up and shuffles over on his knees with a frown, his arms begrudgingly crossed against his chest until he stops right in front of Zuku, glaring at him menacingly.

Izuku waits patiently as he watches Kacchan slowly scoot over and let out a little whine, turning his head away and looking from his papa’s smiling face defiantly. Papa’s silly, little smile wont make him cave this time, nope.. nuh uh. He sneakily (not really..) peeks over to see if his caregiver moved an inch while he boldly flashes him a proud, little smirk that screams ‘Nope. Not doing what you want today, Zuku.’ to show him who’s boss and he notices that Zuku’s trying to hold in a laugh…

Feeling Utterly offended, his smirk drops into a frowny little pout and he lets out another annoyed whine at not getting the reaction he wanted. But before he could think of his next evil plan to get out of quiet time, he squeaks out a suprised noise when he’s pulled down into his caregiver’s arms.

“Fussy, fussy baby!” Izuku says between laughs and playfully scoops up his little one in his arms and tickles him all over, making his little pout disappear instantly and be replaced with little giggles instead. He blows little raspberries on his cheek to hear his baby laugh and smile, he loves his pretty baby so, so much.

After things have calmed down, Kacchan sits in his lap and clings to him koala style, burying his face in his papa’s neck and whining softly with a pout, his eyelids growing more heavy by the second as he clings to him. “‘m sleepy zuku..” he mumbles out quietly and relaxes against his chest as his eyes start to close. “Then sleep baby, I’ll be right here when you wake up, okay?” Izuku whispers and gently rubs little circles in his back to soothe him, gently rocking him to sleep.

Izuku can feel the grip on his sweatshirt slowly begin to loosen up and he cards his fingers through his little one’s hair, lightly scratching at his scalp to further relax him and he has to restrain everything in him not to laugh and end up shaking him awake at seeing his frown slowly disappear off his face and the corners of his mouth turning up into a happy, sleepy little smile.

My baby.. He smiles to himself and plants a kiss on his forehead and watches as he falls asleep in his arms, there’s no place he’d rather be than right here with his little one, Goodnight Kacchan.❤️

Little Izuku w/ chronic pain + a handful of different caregivers

Awhile ago I really messed up my hip by being dumb and it’s never truly been the same, certain movements really hurt. Last few days have been really bad to the point that it hurts to walk.

~~~

~Chronic pain sucks. Having to deal with it at a young age was difficult, but manageable. Just another thing to deal with if you wanted to become a great hero. Izuku understood this, and for the most part was fine with it. Sure it sucked, and some days were worse than others, but overall he wasn’t one to complain.

~Having to deal with that same level of pain while mentally regressed to a two year old however is a different story.

~He's sore, and fussy, and he wants to get up and play but he can't because everything hurts.

~Shoto heating up his hands and running them over Izuku’s arms when he grows upset. Then switching to ice around every ten minutes or so. He’d put on a tv show and try to get the poor baby to relax a little, being so tense can’t be helping the pain any.

~Being overly sensitive whenever the temperature/weather changes because his hands hurt a lot. Momo makes him a cup of tea which soothes his hands at first but they’re still stiff and he drops the cup, shattering it and slipping further from a mixture of embarrassment, sorrow and pain. Momo makes a new cup, then goes to cuddle the baby boy, noting clearly that he’s too small to hold a cup himself and gets him a bottle instead.

~Uraraka waking him up from a nap. Izuku’s super excited to play because playtime got interrupted because he was getting too sleepy, plus fussy because it hurts to sit on the floor even of he really wants to. He swings out of bed quickly and ends up hurting his leg and being in pain.

~He doesn’t want to worry Uraraka, plus he wants to play, but she notices anyways when he refuses to walk without whimper. She hushes him, and carries him instead, gently calling him her ‘little baby bunny’

~Having a classmate microwave a heating pad for him. It’s a very boring plain one, so one day Kaminari decides to get his friend a better one as a present. So the next time there’s a really bad pain day he surprises the little with a heaty stuffed animal in the shape of a bunny which baby Izu adores.
