US CMA student Gagandeep Singh shares his experience with CMA course study exam tips
Gagandeep is a working professional with the Intercontinental Hotels group. He looks after the profit and loss statements and the balance sheet for Intercontintal hotels in the US region. Gagandeep and his friend were looking for the CPA course when they came to Miles education. Here they were introduced to Miles CMA course by one of the Miles faculty. When comparing CPA and CMA they realized CMA is much practical as it is about management reporting and he was into management reporting. After differentiating both courses, they made up their minds on the CMA course.
youtube
CMA certification is issued by IMA, once a member of IMA you will get a regular journal. Topics in the journal are very helpful in day to day work with knowledge of new accounting standards and what is happening in the accounting field, what CEOs of top companies are saying about accounting and reporting. What is happening with SSC regulations in the US will help you in your day to day working and career growth especially when you are interacting with your seniors. As part of the study tips for CMA aspirant students, Gagandeep suggests 2 tips — think practically and broaden your thinking. When you are studying you will feel the topic is really easy and you will clear CMA exams very easily, however, when doing practice questions you will realize it is very difficult. Practically you will not be able to clear it. The second tip he says students must manage time wisely. You will need to give proper time and proper concentration, you have to do as many multiple choice questions as you can. As far as CMA faculty is concerned he says students get a response very quickly within 24 hours. In his experience whenever someone asks him about doing the CPA or CMA course, he always recommends Miles Education and if anyone doing these courses with Miles they will be totally satisfied.

Choosing between working in a luxury hotel and a budget hotel depends on preferences, career goals, and personal circumstances. Luxury hotels offer a glamorous work environment, high-profile guest interactions, and excellent career growth opportunities. On the other hand, budget hotels provide a more relaxed atmosphere, diverse guest interactions, and valuable hands-on experience. Consider factors such as work environment, guest interactions, career growth, workload, job stability, and compensation when deciding. Ultimately, the "better" option depends on what aligns with an individual's aspirations, skills, and desired work-life balance in the dynamic and rewarding hospitality industry.
