Card or Asshole of the day 10.02.24

I got a gift today and it is a new Tarot deck my daughter got at the horror shop she went to while visiting Chicago. The deck is "Witches Tarot, created by: Ellen Duncan

I started shuffling this deck and one card keeps annoying me. I am only trying to connect with the deck by shuffling and haven't asked or thought anything but not damaging the cards. So, why does the King of Wands keep rearing it's head? No clue. So it's the card, or asshole for doing this without being asked, of the day.

Keywords: Honorable, inspirational, Visionary leader, hot tempered, and decisive.

Reading: First of all this card exudes masculine energy to me today in the fact that he's a bit of a take charge sort of guy. He is a leader, very decisive and determined. Uses the fire associated with the wands to fuel his creativeness. He believes in himself and enabling others through reinforcement vs demands. He helps others find their creative and leader skills. Though he can be quick to temper he is fair and inspirating towards others. These are qualities you should look for in yourself and use. Delve into your creativeness and if given a chance help to inspire someone who may be struggling with a project or creative endeavor themselves. You may be surprised at how encouraging someone else helps fuel your own creative fires.

My take for me: Once I get past the irritation I feel at this card forcing itself on me I sense that it has a message it wants to be heard so it's using it's fiery temperament in order to not be ignored. This means I need to stop staring at my started painting and just get out the brushes and paints. I look at it and haven't a clue what I'm doing or what I should do with it, but it seems it's something I'm going to create spontaneously vs planning it out. This makes sense if you consider I had no plans when I started. I put primary colors on my pallet along with black and white and just started messing around.

I love tarot cards and so far my journey with them has been short but they have always been honest, if not brutally so, when I work with a deck. It seems this deck, though I wondered if I would connect with it since I'm not crazy about some of the images, has things to say and will not be hushed. I may have obtained my bossiest deck yet...let's see what happens this month.

October has started and I hope everyone is enjoying the spooky, fun energy this month brings along with beautiful color changes that can affect us in a soothing way.
