Cook's Garage In Lubbock Is Filled With Retro Neon Lights And Decor

If you’re a fan of neon lights, good atmosphere, and great food, we have just the place for you. Cook’s Garage is a restaurant in Lubbock that has amazing food and a vintage feel like no other. The entire place is decked out with neon signs that will bring you back a few decades! To keep with their vibe, they have a vintage car show every year which invites people from all over the state to show off their prized possessions.

The menu consists of things like street tacos and nachos along with classic sandwiches and salads. Of course, they also have a full bar. Menu items start at just $2 and work their way depending on what you happen to get. Originally the restaurant started off as a “man cave” but over time they realized they had much more than that and added a kitchen to it. They often have live music and even have a school bus inside.

The venue has retro garage doors that open when it’s nice outside. Once a year they have the West Texas Roundup where they have mini bike races, food, and live entertainment. They also give out trophies and prizes to the best running cars from other decades.

The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday starting at 11 a.m. They don’t have an official closing time but they usually run until midnight depending on the vibe of the night.
