Not to sound like a carfucker on main again but I’m watching formula e rn and the problem is that these cars are electric so they sound like a bunch of rc cars when I hear a car I wanna hear the engine make that SOUND you know what I mean????? I get why anime only has 12 episode its the safest bet for studios but man it really is possibly the worst for adaptations because thats just so little to get us the viewers to sit down and really enjoy the characters, not that we cant especially when you got amazing people making it that they can make a whole episode feel like an hour(could be a pro of 12 eps).Now another flaw is that because it is 12 episodes that means it stuck to 12 episodes so either finish the arc in 12 or cliffhanger.

This complaint is brought to you by dandadan WHAT DO YOU MEAN WAIT TILL SEASON 2 for that cliffhanger (i have also been blueballed by yowamushi pedal but that was over 12 and fair it needed a break)

Man Like monster has 74 episodes, fma brotherhood has 64 they weren’t seasonal i miss formats like that and I wont ask for that but I wish animation studios took a dive into trying new formats cast off the safety belts and go longer, try filler content do something more than a 12 episode length especially for popular manga that you are gonna adapt. Testing the water with 12 episodes should be for original anime.
