⌑ Rarely did Jenny every address- or greet, for that matter- strangers out in the solitude of the desert. Without any adult supervision, the main way of keeping safe and out of the clutches of dangerous people was to stay out of sight and out of reach. It was nearing dusk on the San Diego desert and Jenny had just completed her bouldering routine when she spotted him. 

⌑ At first, the ten year-old chalked it off as a lost tourist. Until she got a closer look at the stranger’s complexion, which elicited a pause deep and long enough for the child to debate actually talking to said stranger. Which she wouldn’t have done if she wasn’t a good three meters above the currently oblivious stranger’s head. 

⌑ Good climbing skills can get someone just about anywhere. 

⌑ Unwrapping the leather strap of her staff, the child brought the stick in front of her torso- on the off chance the stranger had anything to throw at her. Why he would do such a thing, Jenny didn’t know. But it was good to be prepared for anything. Legs swinging casually on the edge of the enormous rock formation, Jenny finally addressed the newcomer.

I talked to our store’s samsung rep about doing a battery test and he didn’t seem to know a way to do it (I hear there’s codes but all the ones I tried did not work. )

He mentioned that some other stores could replace the battery in-store, and if it wasn’t ‘under warranty’ I could still do it out of pocket for like 50 dollars, so I think I want to do that instead if using the OEM charger doesn’t improve it to a reasonable level. ///
