There's like a pirate trend of sorts in the CR fandom rn and I'm taking to opportunity to rant abt some of my sea alliances :3 Only Abalone and Whale are of my design

[The Salty Shark] Abalone Cookie (She/Her) - The Navy's lorekeeper, in charge of keeping its history and achievements preserved to prevent them from fading into rumours. Despite this, Abalone is far more well known as an author in the Creme Republic, writing fiction inspired by her husband and his crew's adventures and fiction of the ocean she loves so much. In her early career, she was in hot water for writing "The Conque Republic", a novel set in a world where the positions of the Salty and Sweet were switched. Otter Cookie (They/Them) - A young but hardworking soldier of the Salty Shark hailing with the Lower City slums. Despite their cheerful and friendly personality, Otter is one of the best on the ship, their speed and surprising stealth makes them very useful for infiltration and spying. Though it seems that they like to spend most of their time talking about rocks.

[Pirate] Quetzal-Croco Cookie (He/They) - A pirate who's in it for the thrill, the mere sport of being a criminal of the vast sea on the run. Life before was too boring for them, but now they feel free and alive on the dangerous seas, even with the dangers it brings and the challenges of being a pirate. Though sometimes it's hard to take them seriously.

[The Whale Fall] Captain Whale Cookie (He/Him) - A highly respected Navy captain of the Whale Fall, and feared by many on the run from the law. No one really knows what his story is, as far as anyone knows, he had washed up by a village of the sea as a young Cookie with no one else in sight. He had nothing but a necklace with him. It is rumoured that he was lost at sea for years, which might explain his nonchalance towards the ocean and her cruelty. Sea Salt Cookie (He/Him) - Captain Whale Cookie's trusty first mate, hailing from a long gone village destroyed and pillaged by pirates when he was younger. Since that day, Sea Salt had dedicated his life to bringing such criminals to justice, and joined the Navy later on to fulfill this promise.

If Captain Caviar Cookie ever met Salty Shark Cookie, or SeaBeast!Caviar, I imagine the two would be buddies... to an extent! Captain Caviar would be really happy to know that his Beast counterpart kept his mershark parts instead of being fully a Cookie and is enjoying ruling the Black Caviar Kingdom where Salted Cookies can enjoy their lives freely! Salty Shark is the most chillest Sea Beast in the group despite him being the Beast of Anarchy (or in a better sense, the Hollyberry of the Sea Beasts), but he is notorious for leaving out details of things that happened and trying to sweep things under the rug.

In this case, Salty Shark Cookie would make sure that Captain Caviar Cookie sees him as his good counterpart despite, well, also being complicit in trying to track down the Soul Jam of Volition that led to Mystic Flour Cookie's demise and Saint Whiskey Cookie taking in her child, Rye Flour Cookie. >m>

I definitely imagine Icy Tundra Cookie, or SeaBeast!Ice, being in neutral terms with Captain Ice Cookie. Her ideology of Isolation because of the corruption warped her entirely, and she isn't afraid to admit her faults as ruler. Captain Ice Cookie, being one of morals, tends to find that they both at least share a lot in common, but knowing Icy Tundra Cookie's actions makes her question her own values as well, that if she also isn't a saint.

As much as she wishes to apprehend her counterpart for also being complicit in Mystic Flour Cookie's death... She'll let Icy Tundra Cookie wallow in her guilt and face accountability. That is a more fitting punishment than just jail time.

Abalone Cookie meeting Emperor Abalone Cookie is like two mariners forming an alliance. Both would be damn impressed by each others' successes, and Abalone especially would be surprised he is literally ruling a good chunk of the Abalone Kingdom and conquered Tearcrown with ease, and thus claiming the land and sea. The two would definitely team up to get the last Soul Jam, all in hopes of earning a fortune, perfectly split for the both of them.

Little does Abalone Cookie know, however, that Emperor Abalone Cookie is a backstabber as he's the Beast of Greed... And he won't stop at nothing to get what he wants, even if it means screwing over his OG counterpart. He killed Mystic Flour Cookie, a death blow to make her disappear forever, but failed to retrieve the Soul Jam, but he isn't going to make that mistake again with the new holder...

Pirate Cookie meeting Saint Whiskey Cookie, aka SeaBeast!Pirate? Well... Let's just say that as merciful and kind as he is, Saint Whiskey Cookie isn't so merciful to rogue sailors.

Pirate Cookie laughs at the face of death... but he won't be laughing once he sets foot in the church.

-Here is a scene that takes place during the End-Year Celebration event for all the formal renounced Sweet and Salt Cookies. This is also the party that Black Pearl cookie decided to make grand entrance to all the Cookies of the Creme Republic as a mystery guest for the party.

Obviously, all were taken in by her dark beauty but only one Cookie knows the truth behind this black rose beauty…for it the same scary monster who rules the Duskgloom Sea. It took every crumb within him not to cause a fuss, as he does not know the extent of her power as a Cooke. Black Pearl does not hesitate to exploit that paranoia and continues to test and mock him for it..

It worked as well as you expected. Still…it’s a start for a very intriguing relationship between a vengeful siren and a tough sea captain

Pirate's Island AU

Once upon a time, in a distant sea, there was a big island where salt cookies lived. However, this island was also taken over by pirates. It was a convenient place, not so far from the continent, but also not so close that there were ships, but they themselves were not so easy to find. Some of the salt cookies themselves went to the pirates, as it was the fastest way for them to make money on the island, but some were not happy about it. Many pirates were simply barbarians, destroying everything both at sea and on the island.

It was probably for this reason that when the sweeties sailed to the island with a deal, House Oyster, which was chief on the island for its splendid pearls, didn't take long to agree. The deal was that the salty ones would take the pirates on the books, controlling them and using them to keep them from sailing the seas idly. And for that, the salty would get money and innovation from the continent to help them develop, and the sweet would get more safety at sea.

The actions of AU take place 10 years after the deal between salty and sweet.

The newest batch of Cookie children, me and Caviar's children, Golden Roe and Sea Salt Lemonade (design adopted from xxdolliefluffxx)! Roe is our bio son while Lemonade is our adopted daughter because Caviar and I both fell in love with her when we found her <3 ; w ;

Golden Roe isn't a part of the navy, but like his father he is a captain of a ship! While his interest in sailing is more for the sport, as he is a sailboat racer. He is confident, gutsy, and lively, with a true love of sailing and the sea. (And all the gold coins from winning races isn't too bad either!)

Sea Salt Lemonade was an orphan cookie until she boldly marched up Caviar and demanded to work as a deck hand on his ship. When we both found out she was an orphan we adopted her on the spot! Lemonade is brave, spunky, mischievous, and has a deep love for her family. She often tries to sneak aboard her father and older brother's ships because she doesn't like being left behind due to her age and wants to have adventures on sea with her whole family!

Modern Humans AU - CR:K

OKAY SO, me and a friend have been working (on and off) on a Cookie Run: Modern Humans AU ever since summer of last year.'

While the AU takes place in an alternate reality of ours (America, France, etc etc) do exist, but other fictional countries like Estuilor do! This is where the AU mainly takes place in, particularly in Holmur County that is located in the largest region (Jouhun) of Estuilor.

The country itself has French as a second language while its main language is Estuilsur. This is the entire list of Cookies we have included so far, including OCs!

Pure Vanilla is currently a retired ER Nurse and is now a Botanist, White Lily works in pathology, Espresso is a former Math Teacher now Chemist (he subs in sometimes), Madeleine is a military general of the army, Dark Cacao is a former military general, Wildberry and Crunchy Chip run a massive sheep farm (with Snow Leopard as their recon / barn cat), Golden Cheese & Black Pearl run their respective jewel stores and are rivals... This is the simple list of everyone's jobs, not everyone currently has one but will soon! February 19, 2024 Daily Writing Challenge Day 2 Suppress/Pastel

Pyraelia frowned a bit as she considered the final piece of the care package puzzle. 

It had been easy enough to fill little airtight containers with hot broth, pork belly, cooked noodles, chili crisp and various toppings from the ramen cart Aerden liked in Silvermoon. Her delicate scrawl covered the outside of them, an enchantment she’d crafted herself locked the internal contents in time at the moment the lids had closed. When opened again it would be like no time had passed at all. 

She’d been clever enough to patent that spell, and wise enough to market it to the Horde military as a crucial, “inexpensive” component of keeping the troops fed. They’d bought in, and luckily, so had the Alliance military — alongside many other individual shipping companies. It was nice to not need the Sunmote inheritance, and her pride swelled a little as she taped pretty, iridescent paper around that part of the package to keep it safe and together. 

Next up had been another container full of two dozen “kitchen sink” cookies — the kind they’d occasionally gotten up and made together after a bit too much thistle on a hang out night. Some were chocolate chips, pretzels and peanut butter bits, others were potato chips, sea salt and caramel. Whatever was on hand to throw in and make a treat with. That box she wrapped up in a paper the color of a soft blue eggshell. 

The third was full of a mix of wrapped candies and chocolate bars from the shop near his apartment, all traditional Silvermooon staples — enough to share, just in case. That one was just a bag, but she was still able to wrap it up in a rosy quartz colored paper and stack on top. 

But the LAST piece, that was the trouble. 

She huffed, knowing she was overthinking the whole thing. He’d been out on duty for so long, it was hard to know where he’d had to pause his Captain Azeroth reading. Did they ship out to the troops? Surely they did, if requested. It was Captain Azeroth. What if he already had a bunch and was up to date? Ugh. 

Still, the man at the comics shop had been quite helpful and had pointed her toward a storyline that was being printed adjacently from the main comics. Some time loop shenanigan that had started to spiral off too much into its own, separate enough entity that the creator was pursuing it through a new run. 

That seemed safer. But what if he DID want the regular run? 

It didn’t matter. He’d be happy that she’d thought about it at all, probably. 

She’d bought the limited run, and even with all the other parts of the care package ready to go still waffled about it. Pyraelia steeled her resolve and carefully tucked the brown paper bag the comics had been put in when they sold them to her in between some of the other treat boxes. 

Then came the note. She’d already sent a card of thanks for the flowers he’d sent her for her birthday, but this felt like it maybe needed to be a bit more than that. Sana had asked her a few nights previous why she hadn’t said anything yet; did she need to? There wasn’t anything to really confess, not here on ink and paper. Of course he knew, didn’t he? 

She squashed down some of her more intrusive thoughts before putting her pen to paper.

It can be hard being so far away from home and all your favorites for such a long time. I’m sure you’re doing amazing. I sincerely hope everything included after this card will brighten your day up a little! 

There’s SO much to catch you up on when you’re given shore leave. Or whatever they call it. A break? That seems too normal. 

Anyway, enjoy and know that you are missed!
