Who was your best mistletoe kiss ever with? Have you had any this year yet?

"I don't think I've had my best mistletoe kiss ever yet, they've mostly been little cheek kisses. I tend to avoid the stuff, really. Once you know what it looks like, it's easy to duck around!

None this year, I'm not sure I will -- and that's okay!"

TMIT: How do you decorate for the holidays? Any specific color schemes or preferred types of ornaments?

"I love to go all out. Snow enchant for outside the house, this year I have three trees that sort of match the rooms they're in, but they also have contrasting elements because I do want them to stand out a little. There are lights everywhere, and garlands of greenery in every doorway, over every mantle, running up all the stair banisters.

Tons of lights, too. Lights are the most important part, I think. And the popcorn strings K comes over to make with me. Those get to go around the trees.

My preferred types of ornaments are the blown glass ones from Glimmerglen's hot shops. They're always so beautiful and delicate, and they catch the light and scatter it in a really pretty way."

What is your favorite holiday treat?

"My go to for pretty much any holiday is a rice krispy treat. They are infinitely customizable. Plus they're always delicious. And you can shape them into things like trees or ornaments.

They're kind of the best."

"No, I feel like I've always been around other people when gifts are being given to me and that's a little socially inappropriate."

Anon Day not very Anon: Does Pyraelia wish she had any of the nature magic her sister has?

No, not really. Arcane magic feels like its part of her soul and the twining fibers that make up her entire being, the idea of wanting another magic is fairly foreign. Yes, it absolutely has its own unique merits, but those aren't merits for her -- and that's okay!

If she ever needs nature magic done for anything, she can always ask Fiorenze to help. That's enough for her!

Have you ever considered a polyamorous relationship?

"No? Considering a relationship with one person is already an extremely tall order. Two? That's a bit much, I think. I'm not saying it can't happen, the world is a wide and wonderful place, but statistically speaking it's probably a no."

Does she have any big gifts she's planning on giving out this year?

Big means different things to different people. I don't think she thinks she's planning on giving out a big gift to anyone this year? It's usually smaller, handmade things, usually.

Mostly she hopes that whoever she gives gifts to recognizes that they're heartfelt and finds them useful!

For Khaeris: What are some of her favorite holiday traditions?

She loves her times where she helps Pyraelia decorate--stringing popcorn and putting up lights and tinsel is just a lot of fun. Pyraelia's got a good eye for it, and Khaeris just likes the sparkle of it all! Hanging around with a BFF and having cheery holiday fun is her favorite thing!

Does she ever miss her old gig decorating the city for holidays? How does she think the people doing it now compare?

She misses that job all the time. Life was so much simpler then, and it was such a fun job even if it was considered pretty unglamorous by the family standards!

The people now definitely need to pay a little more attention, some of the banners aren't sitting properly on the wall and she's occasionally spied an out-of-holiday Brewfest banner lingering around well past the close of that festival.

What is her favorite Winter Veil tradition?

Decorating! She loves getting her home all festive with pretty garlands, lights, all her little ornaments and shiny baubles for the tree. It's a manual affair at her home so she can spend time and be intentional with her placements. Plus it lets her check for wear and damage.

It's always so cozy and definitely gets her in the holiday mood!

FFAF: How is Pyraelia feeling regarding Fiorenze these days? Is all better?

Everything's fine, Pyraelia needed some time to work through some of her lingering feelings about being trapped, nearly dying, being saved by Xylaes and not her sister.

Sometimes you just need some time apart and a new job!
