akira/p5 ken for the crossover ask meme! - cantfoolajoker

Okay, @cantfoolajoker, let’s give this a crack! I enjoy the idea of P5 Ken so much more than actual P3 Ken, since he pissed me off more often than not. >>;; I liked him better in P4U, so... Let’s get this head canon thing going!

First, I love me Akira from Inaba headcanon. So, Inaba in P4 Arena Ultimax can be where Ken meets Akira for the first time. Maybe he doesn’t leave right away with the others, since Koromaru has ideas of his own. Akira’s out for a walk and Koromaru ‘accidentally’ knocks him down. Ken admonishes Koromaru, who doesn’t mind because his boy needs some friends and so does this new kid, so.

Going on that AU, Akira and Ken keep up via messaging and emails with some visits. ...until Akira falls out of contact. Ken contacts Akira’s parents, gets nothing, so he ask Fuuka to look into it for him.

Unfortunately, (or fortunately, depending on your POV), Ken gets asked by Mitsuru to infiltrate Shujin to find out more about the Phantom Thieves. He runs into Akira in the process. Awkward.

Of course, there’s a bit of tension between them because they’ve been awkwardly flirting the few months before Akira got put on probation, and most of the PT see this IMMEDIATELY. They’re all for their leader getting laid, once Ken gets their trust. A whole team of wingmen/match makers.

Speaking of getting laid... Bare with me. So, in all universes I can manage it, Shinji is alive, so him and Aki are in Tokyo as Ken’s guardians and back up if need be. ...so Ken ends up deciding Akira should come back to his place, because no, he has standards, Akira. He’s not losing his virginity in an attic above a cafe when he has his own room in a very nice apartment (thanks, Mitsuru!). ...too bad it gets bit awkward since he calls Akira ‘Aki’ when they’re alone, and in bed isn’t any different. ...and who comes home before they’re supposed to? Now, Shinjiro and Akihiko don’t interrupt them, but there’s some light teasing at dinner. ...though, Shinji doesn’t call Aki by his nickname for quite a while. ...good thing moron and dumbass are terms of endearment for them now~

Thoughts on Ulala/Maya?

OH! So unfortunately I still haven’t played either of the p2 games yet (I have a big backlog at the minute but I am tempted to jump into it)... but from what I’ve seen of these two I really like it! I mean wlw pairings always tend to be my favorite ships and I really like the dynamic between these two. Maya seems like a great character (a real mom friend which tends to be my favorite type of character) and Ulala seems so cool too (gay boxer love that)!

Tldr, I really like the aesthetic of the pairing and I think it definitely has potential to be one of my favs from the P2 duology! I just don’t have much else to say at the moment cause I haven’t played them yet.

My notes: literally everything comes back to this fic for me LMAO. Best written Akihiko to date and Shinjiro is literally the sweetest. Fluffy and never fails to make me giggle a few times, overall a feel-good fic. Ft Ken and koro.

My notes: the summary isn’t all too descriptive, so here we go: Shinjiro lives a nice and steady life about 3 years after the defeat of nyx. Akihiko is the polar opposite. Both of them are written perfectly and I absolutely adore how the author doesn’t write Aki as “mr perfect”. There are so many one liners that have stuck with me in this fic. On a separate but somewhat related note, every word Ken says in this fic is actual comedic gold and his dynamic with Shinjiro feels more natural than ever.

My notes: So there are some author’s notes abt how exactly this takes place and I think they explain it the best at the beginning of the fic. In a nutshell: after the events of p3, Aki and shinji date and separate not long after bcs of a difference of philosophies. Just the normal issues, yk.

“Bulletproof” by Supernova_sage

Rated: M (skippable smut-ish sections)

Summary (condensed): “Akihiko didn’t move. He didn’t even get back to his feet. Instead, he lay back and stared at the dark sky. There were too many city lights to make out any stars, but that was okay. The point wasn’t to see the stars. The point was to lie there. So, that’s what he did. He lay in silence, surrounded by the night. Soon enough, he felt the presence of another body lay down beside him. He turned his head to see Shinjiro. Huh. Akihiko figured the brunette had long since walked away from him. Guess he was wrong.”

My notes: you can’t really tell by the summary, but this fic is a Groundhog Day-esc fic (my weakness) where Akihiko is stuck in a month-long loop that spans the duration of Shinjiro’s re-joining of SEES and subsequent death shortly after. Every time Shinji dies, the loop is reset and Aki goes back to square one. This fic absolutely nails down their banter to a T and is very satisfying to read, even after the millionth time.

Shinjiro goes along with it, because they've always been a package deal. Somehow, Mitsuru gets roped into that and gets an elbow to her face as a reward. The rest is a wild ride from there.

🌻 + yukari for 4 character headcanons - cantfoolajoker

Random thing: I’m cooking Thanksgiving for tomorrow, and I’m already over it~ I work retail, so this time of year is bullshit, especially since we’re severely understaffed for friday. Lovely. ...but at least mom is letting me keep the mannequin work let me have in the dining room.

Family wants dinner? They get to meet my cute, newspaper-maiche, mannequin girlfriend. :D :D :D

...wheee, now for what you wanted instead of my whining~ Yukari head canons!

Headcanon A: Yukari has a hard time just quite fitting her wardrobe in the her dorm room. It doesn’t help she like to shop. Never open her closet. It’s not safe without knowing which way to dodge shoe boxes and such.

Headcanon B: While I’m on about Yukari being a clothing horse, what to do mean projecting fashion is important I think she feels guilty when she gets used to Aigis, and she doesn’t have anything but school uniforms. Yukari decides to part with some of her wardrobe to teach Aigis ~fashion~. ...however, she regrets it when Aigis has a tendency to get into trouble, and it always ends in destroyed dresses. It makes Yukari want to cry.

Headcanon C: That moment in the Answer when everyone is against Yukari about saving Minato, she kind of expected it? Even when Mitsuru stands by her because she promised to stand by her in anything, she doesn’t quite understand it in that moment. These people were/are her closest allies, but not until after all was said and done at the end of the Answer, they hadn’t really spoken about what had happened. Yukari’s super straightforward for the most part, so she really began to believe that she was the only one that cared about anything, that whole year. Mitsuru proves her wrong, and slowly but surely, Yukari believes in her team again.

Headcanon D: Yukari and Mitsuru becomes the biggest wlw power couple in Japan. After all that Shido nonsense in Tokyo, it’s agreed that Mitsuru should most definitely run for Prime Minister, and she wins by a landslide after the Shadow Operatives oust Shido’s co-conspirators. Yukari’s the first lady, and she’s already a media darling because of being Pink Argus, so Japan loves them both lots.

IT: I’m going with gut reactions, so I don’t overthink this, so it’s gotta be Rise. I think she totes was a fan of Risette when she started out, then she got to know Rise as a Navigator and friend. Rise just has a way with a people, and their personalities are both that same kind of sweet but also totally will take you down if you mess their friends. (Also, lol, trolling their teams since they sound similar, as in they’re both voiced by Laura Bailey, XD)

PT: Gotta be Ann. She doesn’t know why she’s so easily drawn to Lovers, but with Yukari as a bff, she shouldn’t be surprised. Plus, I think it’s pretty much a good head canon that all Wild Cards are Bottomless Pits, and boy, once Ann mentions her love of sweets, Ham definitely wants to go eat all the sweets with her.

Shinji the Dream Daddy! XD Because I’m awful. Ken’s his son! Now... all the other dads on his block... Akihiko the buff dad with a bb Miki. ...then that time I decided all the other Persona dads can also be on the block. Daddy Dojima, Coffee Dad, Gun Dad...

That’s all I have because I haven’t even properly played this game yet, but just the idea of Shinji having to juggle all the dads is making me grin like an idiot. :D
