You placed your palms on his muscular pecs. "You should really talk to her, babe..." Tom nodded sadly; arms enveloping your body. "I have to, I know." You cupped your husbands chiselled cheeks and kissed him lovingly. "I'll start dinner."

The rest of the evening was overshadowed by Tom having to leave for Hawaii tomorrow. Evie always hated it, when her father left the country to film, but in that very moment, it made her even sadder - and that didn't change no matter how much Tom tried to make it up to her.

And the next morning wasn't better...

Thick crocodile tears ran down Evie's face as she watched Tom packing his last few things. "Daddy don't go," she sobbed; clinging onto Tom's leg.

His heart broke all over again. He couldn't help himself but to lift her up in his arms again. She was getting pretty heavy now. After all, she wasn't a toddler anymore, but the Brit didn't care at all. She was his little girl and his fatherly instincts strong.

"I am so sorry, peanut. Daddy doesn't want to leave, but unfortunately he has to. It's his job, you know..." He pressed a kiss against her cheek and gently brushed her tears away with his thumb. "I promise you, that I'll call you every night for your bedtime story." Evie rubbed her red, teary eyes. "And before I go to school?" Tom nodded. "And before you go to school."

That reassured the girl at least a little bit.

as much as you loved work, you were unafraid to admit how tiring it could really be - being in a studio for multiple hours a day, multiple days a week, it was exhausting.

today especially, you couldn’t wait to get home and see your boys, you wanted nothing more. it wasn’t often you’d have those days, where you felt so homesick that you couldn’t focus on anything else, but when you did it was awful.

pushing open the door to your home, you were greeted by a tired smile from your husband, who’s head was now turned away from rugrats - a show which he’d always deny enjoying, but secretly you knew he loved.

“hi honey.” he greeted, even his voice showing his sleepy state, he motioned you over with a head tilt, smile still stuck to his face as you complied “how was your day?”

you gave him a gentle kiss before replying “depends.” your answer left him confused, but you were less focused on his confusion and more focused on the adorable state your boys were in.

your son lay on ashtons chest, slow breaths as he stayed sound asleep. ashtons shirt had ended up with a small amount of drool on it, but it was obvious he didnt care. “what’s that mean?”

“it was a good writing day. i got a lot down, recorded like.. three songs. but i missed you so bad i felt sick.” you admitted, watching him pout.

he brought you closer to his chest, you head now placed close to your sons, ashtons arm wrapped around you, his fingers gently rubbing against the skin on your arms “jude and i missed you too.” he pressed a kiss to your forehead, the act always made you feel warm.

“he seems unbothered to me.” you joked with a laugh, pushing the hair out of your babies face, the two year old shifting slightly as you did so.

ashton shook his head “he begged me to let him wait up for you. and baby, you know i cant resist the little pout he gives me - so i caved, told him we could watch cartoons til you came home, but he clocked out about an hour before you come home.”

“ash, you know you’re not meant to let him stay up past 8.” it wasn’t like you were truly bothered, it’s sweet that jude wanted to do that, but 11pm is far too late of a time for a two year old to be going to bed at. “don’t look at me like that, i’m serious.”

ashton looked like a kicked puppy, sad eyebrows and all. “i’m sorry, my love. you know i am. but he was so upset, he said he needed your goodnight kisses. i just felt for him, you know? i get it, i need them too.”

it was impossible to get mad at a man like ashton, he was the most amazing guy you’d ever met, maybe the most amazing guy ever. he could never do any wrong.

“i’m gonna get him to bed, and if you’re not too tired, i could make us some food and you can pick a movie?” he suggested, carefully moving your head off of him and slowly getting up from his seat on the couch.

you picked up the remote, scrolling through netflix til you found your choice of movie, ashton eventually came back to the couch, passing you a bowl of your favourite food.

“thank you, baby.” you smiled, him giving you a kiss, his little way of saying ‘you’re welcome, i know, i know, im amazing’.

you both quickly finished eating, your head then finding its way back on ashtons chest, his arm draped around you as both of your eyes lay trained on the movie.

your brain, however, was not focused on the movie, but instead on ashton’s heartbeat, his breathing and the way his arm felt around you.

you could live in moments like this forever, the world seemed as if it ceased to exist to you when ashton was around - he was your sole focus. he could make an empty room seem so full, you loved that.

“daddy?” a small, croaky voice broke your thoughts, eyes darting to a half-asleep little boy rubbing his eyes as he walked into the living room. “mummy, you’re home!” he grinned, rushing towards you and happily engulfing you in a big hug.

you whispered to ashton with a sigh, “and this is why we don’t let him stay up past his bedtime.” wrapping your arms around jude, “why are you awake, buddy? it’s 2am.”

“just woked up. dunno why.” he frowned, kissing your cheek. “really missed you, mummy.” he pouted, eyes big as he began tearing up.

“oh honey, it’s okay. i’m here now.” your heart broke for him, you were only away twelve hours, you didn’t think it’d hurt your little boy this bad. “let’s get you back to bed, i’ll be here all day tomorrow, okay?”

you picked him up, ashton following you to jude’s bedroom, watching as you tucked the boy up in bed and kissed him on the forehead. “can i have a song?”

ashton sat down on the edge of the toddler bed, you moved to grab the guitar from the corner of the room, passing it to the older boy before sitting down on the comfortable carpet.

the second ashton began strumming, you were mesmerised. it’s what began everything with the two of you, his music, you’d been close friends with luke since high school - and when his band took off, you’d instantly taken notice to the cute drummer with the emo bangs and godly voice.

you didn’t dare make a move until one of your friends basically forced you to, when you and ashton were 18 you sent him a text. one he’d constantly joke about to you, but it really did take all your courage to send it.

you went on a date, stopped talking a week later, and a month down the line ashton called you, claiming he fucked up - telling you he couldn’t get you out of his mind.

ashton finished singing ‘hey jude’ your boy was asleep by the middle of it, but ashton knew you were infatuated by it, so finished the song anyway.

“wow.” you breathed out, quiet as to not wake the sleeping toddler again. ashton simply grinned, gently placing down the guitar and taking your hand, pulling you back to the living room. “you’re so talented, ash.”

“means a lot coming from the most talented person i’ve ever met.” he complimented back, pulling you into a kiss. “i love you.”

you melted, even after all those years he still made you feel butterflies with those words. “i love you.”

Supernatural: Witch‘s Canyon

Posting everything in this book that i think you need to know, lets go!

Summary:

Okay, so, the boys head to the Grand Canyon to solve a case of a fourty-year murder cycle. The spirits of variouse humans and animals alike attack the locals and they need to find out why and how to stop it.

It is set somewhere in Season two.

My opinion:

This was so much fun. Like, it was really like watching an episode, just a lot longer and with the magic ability to see into Sam and Deans (and a bunch of other characters) heads.

It also gave a little bit of a fanfiction vibe, just with the addidtion that everything is cannon and that all the random little facts and quotes are a real thing (i‘ll list those in a second)

And also there were flashbacks of their childhood??? That made me cry??? I hated john winchester before, but now even more so. (More about the flashbacks below too)

So yea, it was definetly worth it and i cant wait to read the others!!

Flashbacks:

There are two flashbacks to Sam and Dean‘s Childhood:

- the first one is Dean Remembering a time when John made him and Sam run through an obstacle course at age twelve and eight. Dean had to shoot a gun during it, Sam just had to point and yell „Bang!“.

In the process of that Sam got injured and cried and John yelled at him to keep going and that he was doing poorly. Dean comforted his brother and encouraged him, leading to sam actually making it. Sam did it and Dean cheered, but john kept yelling at them to keep going to the next obstacle.

- the second one was from when Dean was fourteen and Sam was ten. Their Dad gave them backbags and said what was in them could last them fir four days and they all went on a hike together.

In the middle of nowhere john then saud that they should not trust anyone on what they are told and left them alone, telling them that they should find their way (at very least two days of walk) back themsleves and they shouldnt have relied on him so much and he just… left.

When they checked their backbags they found that most in it was useless and they were also filled with rocks to make it seem like it was more than it was.

Those are children. And the worst part, when Dean rememvers this he thinks of it almost positively because it taught him a valuable lesson. I cant even begin to describe how my heart hurt for them.

Random facts:

Here are some facts from the book, i do t know anymor if those are mentioned in the show too, but it hardly matters, i think:

- Sam outgrew Dean at the age of 16

- Dean felt gutity over Jessicas death and thought that it was a „more solid basis“ of guilt than Sam had on the matter

- Sam can differentiate between uniforms of different wars in history just by a look

- Dean hates Rats. A lot.

Dean was an amazing guy, Sam knew, with skills and abilities most people would never imagine, and smarts Dean himself wouldnt credit, even though he relied on them all the time. And yet, at times like this, he was so humble, so unassuming, that he seemed almost unaware of the importance if his iwn contributions. At other times, of course, that humility vanished. Knowing and accepting both Deans, he guessed, was what being brothers was all about. Maybe I wouldnt want to be Dean, he thought, but i‘m sure glad I have him araound.

you're then-girlfriend, wanda had texted you before your flight, telling you that she'd meet you at the airport. so, when you got off Tony's private jet, you booked it to the airport. it had just finished raining, and the smell lingered in the air.

when you found your lover, she was dressed up. you giggled at her silliness, wrapping your arms around her and kissing her deeply. "why do you look so pretty?" you mumbled against her lips. wanda raised her eyebrow.

"I can't dress up for my favorite girl?" she asked, kissing you again. it wasn't the way you wanted to find out (though you wouldn't want it any other way) but your hands were freezing and you shoved them into her blazer pocket. you felt the box. "wait!" she yelled trying to yank your hands out. you could feel her heart beat faster. it felt like it was beating out of her chest.

"wanda-" you laughed, pulling the ring out and looking at it. "it's gorgeous."

wanda groaned "i didnt want you to find out like that. i was gonna take you to dinner," she laughed before running her thumb down your lip and saying, "y/n, since you met you five years ago, you have turned my life upside down. i couldn't ask for a better girlfriend than you. or a better best friend. you are my person, my lover, my soulmate. y/n i love you. and it'd be my pleasure if youd agree to marry me. will you marry me, baby?"

you smiled, kissing her deeply, "i will. over and over again i would choose you. yes I'll marry you. yes."

that week tony threw a party at his mansion to celebrate. wanda had you by her hip all night, refusing to let you go. she was showing you off, drinking champagne and dancing.

"dance with me, baby," she asked, swinging her legs a little farther than usual. you rolled your eyes and looked at her. "i know! i know but please. just once. one dance and then you can wait until the wedding to dance with me again,"

you grumbled something about hating dancing, but let her drag you along to the dance floor anyway.

when the party was over, the two of you laid in bed at 1:50 in the morning. you were insanely tired, partied out.

you were in the shortest shorts you could find, and absolutely nothing covering your top. wanda loved that, grabbing your hips and pulling you closer.

"i love you, fiancee," she whispered into the quiet night. you giggled and kissed her softly.

"i love you. you're actually my favorite person. i knew i fell in love with you when my dad was so accepting of you. he never once doubted your love for me. i cant thank you enough baby. or our first date when your hands shoved in your pockets. you were too afraid to even touch m-" you were rambling and wanda shut you up with a rough kiss. you gasped, but moments later kissed back with just enough force. she was practically on top of you, making out.

you flipped her over, pinning her hands above her head and growling lowly. you pulled away from her for just a few moments, your alarm clock illuminating a red 1:58 on her face.

"i couldn't live without you," she whispered like a secret. like it was only for you and her to know.

"ma'am im sorry. shes brain dead. we can't... so anything. shes dead." the nurse said. the first fucking thing she said to you. wanda was dead.

"shes not! shes not gone. sh-she-" a sob broke its way through you, sending you to sit back in your chair. it was late, the waiting room almost cleared. the only sound were your loud sobs.

you couldn't breathe, the room stripped of all its air. tears were streaming down your face, but you were choking. you felt yourself going to puke.

all the nurse did was stand there as you broke down in a panic attack, shaking violently. it wasn't until a surgeon came by and heard and shoved the nurse out of the way.

"ma'am! miss, can-can you breathe for me?" he asked. you cried harder, wanting wanda. she wasnt gone. you were getting married tomorrow, she was not. gone.

they were talking at you, trying to calm you down. one even tried to hold you and you shoved them off, banging your hands into their chest and screaming.

you passed out five minutes after that. falling straight down and dreaming of your wedding the next day.

when you woke up, you demanded them to let you see her. they let you, and you could see her chest moving up and down, even with the tubes sticking out of her.

they had to put you in a wheelchair, saying you were too unstable to walk. you only rolled your eyes and let it happen. you watched her breathe the next few hours, until at 12 A.M tony came and picked you up. literally.

weeks passed, and you sobbed on your bed every day. getting up only to use the restroom. you havent showered, and the last time you ate was three days ago when natasha came in your room and shoved your face.

you threw it up 30 minutes later.

on the third week, you took apart a razor and cut your thighs. the burning sensation letting you focus on anything else besides her. when you did it, you weren't thinking. blood had soaked the bed.

you should've known better. someone always came in after one hour and checked in on you. so, when it was thor's turn, he didn't yell. he didnt say anything. he only took the blade and picked you up, carrying you to the bathroom.

"i know it feels like the world is ending. thats okay. yours is," he whispered into the air. you didnt say anything as he ran you a bath and silently asked permission to rid you of your blood stained clothes. you let him, and not once did he let his eyes linger on you. he only set you in the tub and washed you. the cuts stung, he knew that by how you winced. he asked you if you wanted to get out, but when you shook your head no he nodded.

he kissed you on your head, excusing himself and coming back moments later with a bandage. you sat there for two hours, thor with you. he didnt talk, didnt crack jokes. he rubbed your back and kissed your head brotherly multiple times.

when you got out, he slipped you into new underwear. you let him. you physically couldnt move. "im sorry," he whispered. you looked at him and looked away with a distant look. "do you want to wear one of her hoodies?" he asked. you shook your head no, and he slipped the one he was wearing onto you. he then bandaged your thighs up, making sure not to let his eyes linger on the cuts for too long.

they were deep, he noticed. but he cleaned them and put some ointment on it. when he was done he picked you up and laid you down. he sat with you for a few moments, looking at you, inspecting your face. he was scared he was going to lose you also.

after you'd been asleep for multiple minutes, he stood up to leave. somehow, you felt the bed shift and watched him get up. the first words you said since you saw her were, "stay."

your voice was hoarse, barely there from lack of talking. he heard you and stopped. he turned and sat back on the bed, his hands running over your hair. "hold me," you sobbed into the air.

he held you until you fell asleep. he couldn't. he just bathed himself in your presence, afraid you'd be gone if he fell asleep.

he continued to help you get better, feeding you small portions and getting you able to dress yourself. sometimes you'd have a hard time in the shower, so one time he came in fully clothed and showered with you. still, you wouldn't get out of bed.

one night, before thor came in, you overheard natasha and him yelling. "thor you cant babysit her! shes a grown adult. people die! people leave. wanda is gone and shes overreacting! shes been in that bed for weeks! if not a month. you cannot baby her!'' natasha hissed in the air. somehow, the words didn't bother you. you just stared at the door.

"fuck you, natasha. i know damn well you've delt with loss in your life. maybe not the love of your fucking life but you know its hard. they were getting married the next day when she died! they were soulmates natasha. wanda was her person. she can take however goddamn long she wants." thor slammed his words back, immediately busting into your room after that and apologizing for natashas behavior.

you shrugged. both of them were right in ways.

more weeks went by, and you had been able to throw on some of wandas clothes, walk around, eat, and think about her without wanting to chop your hand off.

everyone was cautious around you, except thor. he handled you beautifully, always there when you needed him. thor was being an amazing person and you knew someday you'd hug him and thank him for everything.

one night, you texted wandas number. you knew she wouldn't be able to see it but you needed to tell her.

'i miss you.'

then, you sat in her hoodie and sweatpants, thinking to yourself. you were getting better, but somehow, with every passing day, you forgot the way her voice sounded. you didnt realize immediately, but that was the moment you truly started accepting wanda wouldn't be back.

when you went to the hospital the next day, still looking rough, you asked for the nurse on wanda's case. you were pointed in her direction. when the nurse saw you, she tensed up, as if she were afraid of you.

"you guys didnt pull her off, right?" you asked. the nurse shook her head no, and led you to wandas room. she didn't look any different until you looked closer. her lips had grown dry, cuts on her body were starting to heal. the same things were the tube sticking down her throat. you knew you had to let her go.

"take it off of her. please. shes- she doesn't look like herself." you whispered. the nurse nodded, and moments later handed you papers and they went to work. you watched as they turned off every machine, rid her of every tube. they talked you through everything. that the process might take a bit, no longer than a few hours. then they left the room.

you cautiously put your hand in hers, it was cold to the touch, yours also. but the moment they touched yours warmed, along with your stomach. you missed her.

"I'm sure you've been watching me, wherever you are. you know thors been taking care of me since... yeah yknow. since the accident. my accident. i was alone for the first few weeks of yours. I'm sorry that we didn't have a funeral. I'll go home and plan it with Thor and the guys," you let a few tears drop as you talked.

"sorry. i just miss you. and I don't know what to say," you laughed through tears. you sat watching her chest move slower and slower, "im sorry i haven't come since i saw you the first time," another pause and then a kiss to her hand, "i wish you would've stayed. you were my soulmate, wanda. and my heart is not full without you here. your name will always be on my mind, my heart, my lips. i know you're gone. i know you forgot me already. but i will never forget the way you looked at me. i love you."

when you said the last three words, you knew it was when wanda left. her breathing stopped and her skin was growing colder.

at the funeral, you cried multiple times. your heart grew as every passing moment a new person walked in. wanda had so many people who loved her, that sometimes youd forget someones name.

you were given multiple hugs, "im sorry for your loss"'s, and other cliche things. you hated it but you could hear wanda scolding you from the afterlife, so you thanked everyone.

now you were watching a video put together of photos and clips of her. you were silently crying, the hardest out of everyone here. particularly at one video that tony caught of her failed proposal and the sound of her voice.

that night you drank lots of wine, and were sitting in the living room filled with your friends. you didnt mind, your heart was actually starting to feel full again even with the linger knowing she was still gone.

"do you think she's okay... wherever she is?" you asked. it was all you wanted to know.

"i hope so," tony said, patting your knee. multiple people hummed in agreement. you looked to the sunset and thought;

i hope it's nice where you are.

Best Daddy in the Whole World

You were exhausted to say the least, the flight to Chicago was tiring, and since you’ve landed you’ve been trying to entertain your six year old daughter Maisy on top of it. You were doing this all while eight months pregnant with your and Hobis second child so it was a lot. He was doing his best to help but with all the last minute preparations he was quite busy himself.

Your daughter didn’t fully understand what you guys were doing. She just knew that daddy had to go on stage for work and you two were there to make him happy. The two of you kept it a secret that Hobi would be performing with Becky G. Your daughter absolutely loves Becky G. Even as a baby she would kick her legs and get excited whenever she heard one of her songs. That’s why Hobi was so happy when he showed her the music video for Chicken noodle Soup. You were impressed how he managed to hide the hurt he felt when his daughter completely disregarded that he was in the video too and only focused on Becky G.

The night of the show you were hanging backstage watching Hobi get ready. You were so thankful that Jimin had also come for support as he was now the one chasing your daughter around giving you a little break. Hobi checked his phone before smiling at you, “She said she’s on her way. Let’s go get Maisy.” You nodded and waited for him to come over and help you up.

You couldn’t stop laughing when you found your daughter. She was making a very convincing argument to Jimin as to why he should definitely get her another cookie from the catering table and he was arguing back about how she already had three and her mom will kill him. You smiled, “Maisy, Jimin is right. Three cookies is enough plus we have a surprise for you. Come with me.” Jimin mouths a thank you before you take Maisy’s hand and walk her back to the dressing room. “Mommy what’s the surprise?”, she asks bouncing up and down. “You’ll see baby. Just have patience.”, you said turning the door knob and pushing open the door. You’d think that by now you’d be used to loud screaming from all the fans that regularly scream for your husband but you winced when you heard your young daughter start screaming at the top of her lungs.

You didn’t even have to introduce her before she was running over and wrapping her little arms around Becky G who had bent down to be eye level with Maisy. Hobi walked over and stood next to you and you both watched your daughter interact with her favorite singer. “She used to be excited like that to see me. Now all I get is a Hi Dad and then she’s on her way.”, he pouted. Resting your head on his arm you smiled, “She’ll always be excited to see you. Just like I am.” He leaned over and gave you a kiss.

Your daughter made you take too many photos of you and Becky. She even agreed to let her dad be in a few of them but only if she got to stand next to Becky. After the three of you said goodbye your heart filled with warmth as you watched your daughter run up and tug on Hobis hand until he picked her up. She wrapped her little arms around his neck and planted a kiss on his cheek, “Thank you Daddy! This was the best surprise ever. You’re the best daddy in the whole world. I love you so much!” The smile on Hobis face was like nothing you’ve ever seen. The closest would probably be your wedding day but you couldn’t have been happier. You walked over and gave Hobi a kiss and wished him luck. Then you took your daughters hand and walked over to Jimin who was waiting to take you over to your seats. You took one last look back at your husband who blew you a kiss before grabbing his microphone ready to put on the show of his life.

blurb ideaa for george so gigi is out with a boy and she runs into george and he is in protective uncle mode hahah he’s like wait until i tell your dad

gigi is maybe fifteen when she starts showing a proper interest in dating. she's had little crushes and maybe a sweet little first kiss or two but honestly was too busy just doing her own thing to be that bothered. but she's been seeing this guy for a bit now and she thinks she really likes him. apart from all the questions swirling in her head, am i old enough, does he like me, what's it like being someone's girlfriend, the biggest one in her mind is, how is she going to tell her dad. she had a boy round when she was a bit younger, and he invited the whole band to dinner to stare the poor lad down. luckily he thought it was cool.

but now she is out with her crush, and her parents think she is with friends, but they're too busy with the little girls to really notice what she is doing today anyway which is fine by her. they've walked to get coffee, well frappucinos, and they are now wandering to the park. it's a warm day and gigi is on summer break and hasn't seen her crush since school broke up a week ago. she's giddy. she's even more giddy when he reaches out and takes her hand, swinging it as she walks. this is what her dad writes songs about. she's convinced!

then she sees him. he'd stand out anyway. bleached blond buzz cut. abnormally tall. dark sunglasses. it's george. he's walking towards them, still at a distance. charli isn't there, which gigi thinks with regret, would probably make the situation less bad.

"oh shit," gigi says. the boy looks at her.

"what? what is it?"

"that guy," she says, pointing to him. he's getting closer. she's panicking. "that's my uncle."

"aw nice!" the boy says, "shall we go say hi?"

"no!" gigi says, "of course not. you have to hide."

"i have to what."

"hide. now."

the boy looks around, grinning, amused at her, "where am i supposed to hide. it's a street."

"erm. er. fuck," gigi says, and george is already too close. he's spotted them. his face has lit up.

"hey gus gus," he says, he scoops her into a hug. "what you up to?"

"oh nothing, just hanging with a friend."

george's eyes land on the boy. he raises an eyebrow.

"friend?" he says.

"yep!" gigi says, brightly, "anyway, we've got to go." she all but shoves the boy on. he doesnt move.

"you alright mate," george is saying to him.

"yeah thanks, you gigi's uncle?"

"yep," george says. he straightens up, tall. he blocks out the sun with his head. he puts them both in shadow. gigi takes a deep breath.

"you taking care of this girl?" george says, his face a hard line now.

"yes sir," the boy says. he holds his own. looking at george in the eye.

"you don't do harm to this girl, correct?" george says.

"yes sir."

george snaps back into his happy self. his goofball self. he smiles.

"i gotta meet my missus. cant keep the ladies waiting," he says, "can we?"

"no sir."

"nice to meet you. bye gussy. come round soon okay?" he says. he hugs gigi goodbye.

"please dont tell my dad," she whispers to him. he doesnt respond until he starts to walk away. he winks at her.

"oh ho ho. i'm telling your dad," he says. and then he is gone.

gigi puts her head in her hands, "we're screwed."

"we'll be okay. you're dad doesnt sound like a hardass," the boy says, putting his arm around gigi.

"he is when it comes to me," she says, "he'll pretend to be all cool with it but he'll stare at you when i'm not looking. cry to my mum about me growing up. "

"nothing i cant handle," the boy says.

"then he'll write a song about you called, little shit get away from my daughter or something."

I beat Slayers X

losers........ scroll away. u cant HANDEL how cool this game is....

Hypnospace Outlaw is one of my favorite indie games of all time (Slay the Spire is also up there, these two are the peak for me). When I found out there was a sequel I was hyped. It only took my brain... a little under a year to actually play it XD (I gave Hypnospace another playthrough a few days ago cause I never got 100% or did the Plus content so that helped). But giving me more hypnospace universe (the trennisverse, as I've heard) goodness in the form of a game created, in character, by Zane? Fucking Outstanding. I've never really been a boomer shooter guy, so this was like... technically my first one played? I had a blast the whole way through, regardless.

gameplay......

Again, never actually played with my own two hands a boomer shooter before, but of course I've watched Doom gameplay, I've played more modern FPSs. I knew what I was getting myself into, and it felt super easy to maneuver. The weapons were all really fun, and I actually got to feel like each one had its own use, although the Glass Blasta and the Rapid Mutilator were my personal favorites, for power and mobility reasons alike. I loved the map design, which wasn't constant enemies and perpetual combat like I was expecting. There was a lot of downtime that let me explore, see the details put into everything, and to look for secrets. That was my favorite part of the gameplay for sure, although I'm sure for some people they might not like those slower parts and how hard some of the secrets were to find. I know I struggled a bit on some, but I still liked it. I played on the normal difficulty, which felt like it gave me enough of a challenge and enough time to breathe. It was the perfect mix.

atmosfear....

The theming of the game was FUCKING perfect. Hypnospace crushed it with the vibe of early internet forums, and Zane was spot on for a stupid edgy 15 year old of the time. They already mastered the execution, and they got to expand on it further here. The misspellings, the nu metal soundtrack, the graphics, the toilet humor and crude but just innocent enough dialogue, it all gets the vibe exactly correct. Hell, even in real life, with Zane being the irl creator of the game, his twitter, and the way that he advertises his game is perfect. If you don't know what you're getting into, you're gonna think this game is stupid, and I know this cause I've seen quite a few people just not understand what the bit is, and the bit is 50% of the enjoyment of the game. I love it, though. Can't wait for more of this energy in the future.

Growing up in the 2000s with younger parents, the general nu metal genre and anything in that era is what I listened to growing up, so this shit is NOSTALGIC for me. I love every song in the game, I love how dirty and rancid it sounds, they literally already got it perfect in Hypnospace, and Slayers X just gives me even more of what I already love. When you're not in combat and you're just walking around, the rock takes a backside for this creepy atmospheric noise which really makes the levels, showing the dingy nature and the (literal) shit. The bonus levels have different soundtracks that get that Doom level sound perfect, which I really appreciated as well.

characterz... (Zane, the coolest guy, and those other idiots.....)

I LOVE how this game's cast feels. The in universe explanations for everything really enhances it. Zane is still that same immature child he was years ago, the game is full of his ego, but you can see in his like, dev dialogue, that he has in fact aged and mellowed out, which is really sweet and saddening to see. The same kid who made bullying pages is now a single dad who clearly loves his kid even if he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, and is dealing with a lot of hardships in life. Like the original game, it's a surface of humor with a really deep inside. You get more of his character by seeing the rest of the cast. Mevin is creepy, obviously evil, definitely not inspired by anyone irl, and Zane's way of physically lashing out at his struggles. Steffanie literally sounds like there's 0 effort being put into her lines, and combined with the secret with Adam, the person that helped Zane code the game, showing annoyance yet still helping him shows that this dude is pathetic but... there's still something in him that makes people want to help him anyways. Mikey is also in on this, putting WAY more effort than anyone would ever need to in this game, but you can tell because of that that there's just something ABOUT Zane that people can't help but want to push him forward for some reason. Again, it's heartwarming and sad, and I love that.

the rest, ig uess...

I don't really know what else to say that I haven't already said; I love this game. It gives me more of what I loved out of Hypnospace, although hyperspecified to Zane (not complaining)

I DO HAVE TO ADMIT THOUGH, I HAVE A SERIOUS BIAS CAUSE ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS HELPED MAKE IT AND I LOVE TO SEE HER WORK, SHE MADE SOME OF THE LEVELS AND SOME OF THE SOUNDTRACK AND SHE'S SUPER COOL AND AWESOME AND SKILLED SHOUTOUTS TO @headachelikeapillow YOU'RE THE BEST

I got a little easter egg in the game which is super cool :) It warms my heart to see my name lead into a fuckin saw chamber (that has literally stopped every streamer I've ever seen play that level in their tracks, it's hilarious)

I liked this one a lot better than the last movie. I hope we see Cupid again or else I’ll rage

the pacing was like SO much better than the last movie.

my only complaints are that toralai and vampire Elvis's motivations either weren’t really explained or made no sense to me. Also the animation still isn’t great but what do you expect lol

oh wait one more complaint. where is Frankie’s personality. I do not see it

hopefully we get a good frankie episode to get to know her a bit more

also it keeps telling us clawdeen and draculara are best friends but not really showing it??

In conclusion clawd is the rizzard and Abby solos
