I like the idea of Eddie just showering Steve in flowers.

one time, lets say their first date, Eddie shows up with a cheep bouquet of red roses. because that's what people do on dates, right?, buy each other flowers? And for some reason Steve looks shocked. At first Eddie thought he had fucked up. was he not meant to bring Steve flowers? were they not the right flowers? but then Steve hugs him, thanks him. He looks ecstatic, and Eddie loves making Steve smile, he has a perfect smile. so from that day on Eddie makes sure to bring Steve flowers whenever he can, dates, birthdays, anniversary's.

Sometimes he just hand picks a couple on the way to see Steve. (sometimes going a longer way just so that he can get the prettiest flowers) the look on Steve's face when he sees them is always worth it.

On their first year anniversary Eddie hand crafts an entire bouquet of roses (it takes him weeks, but no one needs to know that) that way they will never die and Steve can keep them forever. those are Steve's favourite flowers.

Steve had never been brought flowers before, he was always the one to buy the flowers, it made him feel special, he loved that Eddie would handpick them for him, and put in all the effort to hand make them. it make Steve feel loved.
