To me, Jefferson knew what she’s up to when she mentioned “Let me go and I’ll help you. Let me help you, please.” Which means, how should Jefferson respond towards her besides “Don’t beg” since it doesn’t accurately works on him falling for it at all?

Unsure if this deleted audio takes place from this scene but when Maxine has said something towards Jefferson, it actually went half better than how observe it went by this option choice: “You’re sick, Mark. Mr. Jefferson… you need help. There are people out there who will help you; just— just let me go…”
