Look, Beverley is Queen of My Heart, literally would be her acolyte no question, and in canon I dislike nor deny her good relationship with Peter.
I'm just saying that Starlingale itches that part of my brain I can't reach any other way.

The author's opinion on the relative legitimacy of different canons and fanons is explored very thoroughly in <redacted: insert name of later section here> — there is a beautiful line towards one of the endings of said section that expresses that canon cannot legitimately trample on fanfic any more than fanfic cannot legitimately trample on canon. "Never the twain shall meet", very poetic, etc.
Yeah, that's pretty much how "dubious canon" works. It's a series of events made by the creator, but it's a series of events, and not established canon in any sense of the word. False timelines are something you'll have to get used to.
False timelines - presumably, non-canonical timelines - sound just like fanfics, to me.
Is a fanfiction written by the author ‘more canonical’ than an ordinary fanfic? I guess it's a matter of opinion, and you can probably guess mine. Interested in seeing where this goes.
