I took the child into Manhattan this afternoon for lunch, something fun that I thought he’d enjoy. He didn’t.

In response, we went to Candytopia and it was expensive and utterly over the top, but super fun. Nearly every room had a treasure chest filled with candy for you to take: chocolate coins, Haribo gummy bears, Laffy Taffy, etc. I’m currently sitting here eating a watermelon Blow Pop for probably the first time since I was in like middle school. 10/10, would recommend (but probably not do again).

stopped at a mexican place afterwards

we stopped at lincoln for drinks and headed back to the apartment
