So this comment I made on a post about how to "act like a man" just got banned for "hate speech" cause I guess people aren't allowed to be weird anymore.
They just want us to shut up and be normal, don't they?
#Facebook#facebook banned#no censorship#hate speech#cancle culture#mark zuckerberg#zucked#literally on the brink of just deleting it#what the fuck is this shit

It's not about the Dwarfs it is about changing a classic story to fit our declined woke culture. The Dwarf story was just a cover from what I have read, the old classic moral tale was cancled because it doesn't fit the modern feminist dialog. Everytime Disney remakes one of their classic films they create an inferior product. The modern Disney touch has also distroyed Starwars.
FIRST LOOK: Rachel Zegler as Snow White for Disney’s live action Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The film is scheduled to come out March 21, 2025

#like all of cancle culture is just so messed up imo#are you so afraid of agreeing with an asshole that you would give up your ability to have your own thoughts#you can read a book and disagree with it! can u imagine?#it makes me so fucking angry for fucks sake#‘didnt this author say the n word’ yes he lived in 1900 and reading his work doesnt make you a racist. it makes you educated#YOU CAN DISAGREE WITH THINGS#emmys thoughts

Being a right-wing comedian has to be the easiest thing in the world. You don't even have to be funny. Here's how it goes. You start with transphobia and move your way down to veiled Racism and misogyny and then add a sprinkle of ablelism and a dash of classism here and thre. Whenever anyone tries to hold you accountable just cry about cancle culture, and there you have a working formula.

You literally can’t please anyone and it’s fucking annoying that people don’t understand that. As a writer we write for ourselves, it’s just a bonus when we have people who enjoy our works.
Do we take suggestions and requests and write stuff in hopes that our followers enjoy it? Yes of course we do, but at the end of it, we’re not going to post writing we’re not even the slightest bit of proud of.
AND If you don’t like it don’t read it??????
Like if the writing isn’t specific enough for you or too specific for you and you don’t like it?? DONT READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Don’t be a dick to people just because you’re unhappy
The fact that my beloved @eddiemunsons-missingnipple got shit on for writing a fic for specific people is literal proof that there's no winning for us fic writers.
You make Reader too specific in one way; you get shit on. You make Reader not specific enough; you get shit on. Even if you put warnings/make it obvious that this fic is NOT FOR EVERYONE; you'll get shit on.
Like, what do you want us to do here? Make Reader as bland as a bowl of porridge so yall can fill in the rest? I can't speak for everyone but I know that would make writing the most miserable thing if I can't write Reader based on my own personal experiences and the way I think or interact with people.
Not every single fic is going to be for you, and that's okay! Just because one fic isn't for you, doesn't mean there aren't 500 other fics that will be for you. Don't like a fic? Don't read it. It costs NOTHING to just close a fic and read a different one if you don't like it.

Watched Mean Girls w the bros. Some thoughts.
1. A few og lines were so forced. "We don't have a clique problem-" comes to mind.
2. Why did everyone lose their dads? Is there a draft we didnt hear about?
3. Similarly, where did Regina's sister go? I missed her
4. I did really enjoy how they incorporated modern technology and cancle culture into it. 10/10
4. A lot of people's favorite teacher ship just went canon ig. Good for you. Glad u could live your dreams
5. The focus from lesbianism to mental health stigma was p good ngl. 2023 hs is going to react a lot more strongly to perceived cluster B personalities than to an artsy girl being gay
6. That said, the homophobia still being v present is also so real.
7. To the brother who ditched us cuz "I open tomorrow". So do i. It's not that late. Enjoy your fomo lol
(8). Im kidding. Its my job to be a terrible influence. Hence why my nephew will be saying curse words one day while high off sugar.
9. OH! Also Aaron was baby Marshall from How I Met Your Mother. I said it and I regret nothing. I am correct.

its weird, many people my age that i meet are always in relationships. i had a boyfriend for a short time once at least but it was kinda weird so i have barely any relationship experience and I always wonder how do these people always find people to date and get in relationships so easily??
like im not crying in a corner but sometimes i feel a bit left out when they all cancle plans to do stuff with their partner
and i already have problems finding a boyfriend but im bi and how on earth am i supposed to find a gilrfriend??? my country is at least not that homophobic but nobody is wearing rainbow flags or stuff like that and gay clubs dont exist here and no one really talks openly about their sexuality so how is that supposed to work?
and i cant just go and date strangers i feel like i NEED a solid friendship first so i get to know the person really well and AArrggg dating culture sucks ass I want to spend time with all the people i like and not just have everyone split up into pairs of 2
my eternal issue is that i can’t just meet someone on a dating app and go on a date and i sometimes wonder if its because i think im not attractive enough to be confident about meeting strangers? but no i think even if i were the hottest girl ever i wouldn’t like dating apps still, i like it when things happen naturally, i like forming connections and building chemistry and connection and understanding, i want to KNOW a person, i want to be known, and i just think meeting someone with the explicit intention of dating them ruins it for me :(

We need to start at the root. No more "Both sides" no more "Every one is entitled to their opinion" no more "Maginalised people must have their existance subject to constant debate". Garbage in, garbage out applies to democracy as well as computers. That means we on the left have to starttaking on some ot the methods of the other side. The GOP, and the Tories here in the UK are turning out for every vote, they are working in school boards they are pushing ther party as activists. When they get pissed off they vote, and when slighted they boycot (we can leave off the part where they bitch about cancle culture while so doing). This thing where the good guys maybe show up for general elections and POTUS, but realy decide tha both sides are as bad? We gotta stop that. I see a lot of you talking about wanting the harvest of revolution, but are you planting the seeds? Talk to your nebours. Participate in your comunity, write to your local paper and t your representitaves. Every colom inch thatgoes to taking about a liberal cause is one more inch denied to the rightwing. Start small the GOP didnt get here all at once, they built up. Its going to be hard as the meda is against us. But the net is a start. Can't stop the signal.
“It sure would have been good if even some of that epic litany of lies could have been checked while people were still watching. The decision to have the moderators sit like a couple of potted plants woodenly asking questions about child care while Trump responded with irrelevant lies was inexplicable. Why did they even bother to ask questions at all? They could have just run the timer and let the candidates talk for two minutes each about anything they wanted. It probably would have been more enlightening. According to former CNN media reporter Brian Stelter, CNN is very happy with how it went. He wrote, “A CNN exec in the control room texts me: "We are very proud of Jake and Dana. Our job was to make sure candidates were heard so voters can make informed decisions and we are pleased we were able to do that.” Actually, CNN inadvertently became one of the greatest disseminators of disinformation in American political history. Millions of people heard Donald Trump’s lies and since they were met with silence from the journalists on the stage upon whom people depend to tell them the facts, many of them probably came away believing he must have been telling the truth.”
— CNN’s debate was no fair fight

One thing about me is that I am avoiding herd behavior in everything and try to double check before I maybe engage.
You all telling me xy is bad and should be canceled? Let me check that first just in case yall are stupid and gullible.
You all telling me xy is so damn good and should be consumed / followed immediately? Let me check that first just in case yall are stupid and gullible.
xy said we all should do a thing and you all are doing that now?? Let me check that first just in case yall are stupid and gullible.
Also big groups of people will have fights sooner or later and I have no energy for that.
#the amounts of times I had to witness or read about people blindly following the masses#and then it turned out it lead to a big pile of exploding shit#or hyped up media turned out to be just okayish#or someone canceled turned out to be innocent but now their life is ruined because people decided to dox them and call their boss#herd mentality#hive minds#cancle culture

Debated with myself if I should be this vulnerable online, but honestly it needs out and maybe input from people who don't know me might be useful too.
The huge amount of not just criticism, but actual vitriol and hatedom for the Uglies Series after the movie came out has really made me despair.
Uglies the book was published in 2005 and is one of the very first YA dystopias, predating Hunger Games by three years. The novel I have been working on for the last four years, Eine Heilung vom Anderssein (english: A Cure for Being Different) is heavily inspired by it. Not in the sense of plagiarizing plot, but in that the vibes and the character arcs and the message are very similar (despite what the hatedom seems to think Uglies is not exclusively about beauty culture, but more so about conformity, oppression being largely enforced not by police but by the oppressed people having internalized its rules, and in the later books also neurodivergency).
The movie has a lot of flaws and doesn't manages to be as complex as the book. But the book is one of the best, if not the best, dystopia I ever read, and this is one of my favorite genres, so I read many. But it does not matter. People decided that all YA dystopias other than Hunger Games are shallow, dumb, cringe girl stuff and also Hunger Games clones. They don't give it the benefit of the doubt, and they don't listen even confronted with the publishing date.
How could my novel, which I know is good, but there is no way it is this good, have any chance?
Now, my dystopia is New Adult, and unlike Uglies, I knew all the genres tropes because it was written after the boom, so I could subvert them, and it has two POV characters instead of one. But it still has a kind of unlikable, naive main character who totally buys into the system. It has a world that is not meant to be a gritty real representation of an oppressive government, but an allegory. It has this mandatory operation that makes you normal, as you should be. It has this rather slow pace at the beginning that then escalates into higher and higher stakes over time.
It isn't Young Adult, but it is definitely not adult dystopia, which does seem to be something that is allowed to be labeled as good and worth thinking about, either. And I don't think I can change it to being adult dystopia without having to completely change the plot.
I specifically took everything I love about Uglies and implemented it in my own novel. Just turns out that close to everybody else hates these very same things.
Sure, my novel is canonically queer instead of just heavy subtext. But I think this is cancled out by my POV characters and most of the rest of the cast being autistic. Which already not thinking about how much people hate Uglies means that I have to work so hard to make neurotypicals, who sadly will need to be at least somewhat involved in buying it for it to reach the intended autistic audience, understand these characters. How could this possibly work when they don't even give it the benefit of the doubt because all dystopias other than Hunger Games are bad, cringe girl shit?
Also the idea that being autistic is nothing bad and does not need to be cured is way to radical for Germany already, even without all of this...
Me and a friend had the idea to try to sell it as New Adult, not dystopia. And sure, this might give it the chance to prove it is good - but this novel is very blatantly a dystopia, I can't change the fact that it is a dystopia without overthrowing the entire plot and meaning, and everybody reading it will realize that it is a dystopia.
The smartest thing would be to just give up trying to publish this and regard it as a good writing exercise - but I put so much work and passion and pain into this, and I genuinely think this is an important story to tell.
I guess I will try to publish it in Germany as New Adult, and if that does not work I wait and translate it into English and try to publish it there in a few years when this passionate hate of YA dystopias died down.
Before the Uglies movie came out, I had three options of what to choose as my next novel project: A sequel to this novel, something that I could possibly have sold as sapphic sci-fi dark romance but that is actually a dystopia too, and a space opera idea I have since years but still have not come up with a better title than "Untitled Babylon 5 copycat" yet (it is in the process of developing an own identity right now, thank you for your concern).
Definitely will choose the space opera.
Though with my luck and with how slow I write, I am sure that by the time I am finished, sapphic, feminist space operas too will have become oversaturated and labeled as inherently bad, cringe girl shit. Except for Locked Tomb, which has no flaws and is treated as untouchable.
I am so fucking tired.

Why the actual fuck is the song "shine bright like a dimond" so fucking popular?
Have you ever thought about it
DIMONDS DONT SHINE DUMBASS.
DIMONDS REFLECT, BECAUSE THEY ARE CRYSTALISED CARBON.
Oh but when silicon does it its "cheap" no one sings "shine bright like a glass window" because its fucking stupid.
And if you take the advice seriouse like, imagen whoever made the song was like "oh wait dimonds dont shine, oh wait i can make a comentary on the world"
THEN IT KIND OF MAKES SENSE????
Because in this current world its more important to look important and nice insted of being nice and good. Taking others achivments and reflecting them as if it where ones own (cancle culture and that bs)
And i find it facinating that that song kind of encapsulates that fuckung mindset without realizing its describing a broken system where in pretending to be relevant is good and desirable. Missing the point entierly that to shine oneself like a star/our sun is the real value of the world and that we dont actualy need to take such a burdeon upon us. To literaly burn ourselves for the greater good. Because think about it. What is the actual way a dimond can "shine". Thats right, liting it on fire, dying in the process wich in itself is slow and agonizing.
And to everyone
DIMONDS DONT SHINE, YOU ALREADY SHINE MORE THEN A DIMOND, BECAUSE YOU EMIT HEAT WICH IS A FORM OF VISIBLE (not to us but still)RADIATION SO FOR YOU TO "SHINE *LIKE* A DIMOND" YOU WOULD NEED TO FUCKING DIE AND BE LOWERED TO ROOM TEMPERATURE
Thanks for reading, god i hate that fucking song
