David Soul, known for playing the iconic detective Kenneth Hutchinson of the duo Starsky and Hutch, has died at the age of 80. The American gossip magazine TMZ broke the news. He was born in Chicago but had English citizenship. In addition to the popular TV series also "Salem's Lot", "Star Trek" and the cult "A 44 Magnum for Inspector Callaghan" alongside Clint Eastwood.
How David Soul died
David Soul died on Thursday in a hospital in London following a battle with cancer. According to what was reported by TMZ, the actor had been suffering from it for some time as well as numerous health problems suffered in old age. In particular, David Soul suffered from chronic bronchopneumonia, due to more than 50 years as an avid smoker: "he smoked three packs of cigarettes a day", says the newspaper.
The career of David Soul
David Soul became an absolute pop icon in the 70s thanks to Starsky and Hutch. He was the blond-haired, icy-eyed detective next to Detective Dave Starsky, played by Paul Michael Glaser. David Soul appeared in all 92 episodes of the series, spanning a four-season span from 1975 to 1979 and also directing some episodes. Other popular shows also include "Salem's Lot", the first miniseries based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King and directed by Tobe Hopper in which he played the protagonist Ben Mears and which in Italy was released with the title "The Last Days of Salem ", merged into a single 112-minute version. Before his great popularity with the series, he had gained recognition in the role of Agent Davis in the film A 44 Magnum for Inspector Callaghan. David Soul had also established himself as a singer by releasing five studio albums and seven collections between 1976 and 2020

The Struggle to Save Lives Inside Gaza’s Hospitals
Photograph by Ahmad Salem—Bloomberg/Getty Images
— BY Sanya Mansoor | November 6, 2023 | Time
Within minutes of the Oct. 31 Israeli attack on the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza, the victims began flooding the Indonesian Hospital a mile away. Dr. Marwan Sultan, the hospital’s medical director, says that most of the injured and dead were women and children. Some had deep burns, serious head injuries, or missing limbs, Sultan told TIME four hours after the attack. There are only 16 intensive-care beds in the hospital, which was running dangerously low on fuel, threatening the lives of his patients. If the electricity goes, says Sultan, “they will die. They will die.”
The conditions for medical care in Gaza are deteriorating across the besieged 140-sq.-mi. coastal strip. Surgeons are operating by flashlight and rationing water, anesthesia, and the generator fuel needed to perform surgeries, provide electricity for incubators, and care for kidney-dialysis patients, doctors and health organizations tell TIME. The roughly two dozen hospitals still operating in Gaza are absorbing the patients of the 12 that have closed because of a lack of supplies and the ongoing bombing, says the World Health Organization (WHO). “Medical teams are on their knees,” says Hisham Mhanna, spokesperson for the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza.

All war zones are awful, but Gaza presents a unique hell. Much of the enclave of 2 million is now a battlefield, with civilians and combatants intermixed, and homes and businesses sitting side by side with military infrastructure. Nowhere is that reality felt more keenly than at the territory’s hospitals, which have simultaneously become safe havens and potential targets, and where the impact of Israel’s offensive is measured every day in lives—more than 9,000 killed as of Nov. 2, including 135 medical personnel, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
After the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks that killed more than 1,400 people in Israel and started the war, the Israeli military began a massive bombing campaign. On Oct. 13, it ordered civilians to depart the northern part of the strip for the south, and on Oct. 27 it sent in ground troops and armored vehicles. Hamas has fought back above and below ground, from a network of concrete tunnels extending hundreds of miles.
For the estimated 1 million people displaced by fighting, the search for shelter has brought many to makeshift tent cities. More than 50,000 are packed into the Al-Shifa hospital complex in northern Gaza, says Dr. Ghassan Abu-Sittah, a surgeon. Mattresses line the floor, kids run around, and a stench hangs in the air. So many people in such a small space, with inadequate access to hygiene and sanitation, will lead to an outbreak of infectious diseases, Abu-Sittah worries. Hospitals are struggling to dispose of dead bodies, which pose their own health hazards. Abu-Sittah has been going to a corner store to buy bottles of vinegar and laundry detergent to clean wounds. “Every day you make more and more compromises,” he says.

Some two dozen hospitals have been asked to evacuate to the south, according to the WHO, which says doing so would risk patients’ lives. When Israeli government officials called Al-Awda hospital and told its manager, Dr. Ahmed Mhanna, to evacuate staff and patients, “I refused, of course,” he says. “Where can I deal with my patients?”
Doctors worry that their facilities will be hit in the bombardment. On Oct. 30, an Israeli airstrike damaged part of Gaza’s only cancer hospital, the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, says its director, Dr. Sobhi Skeik. “My message is please don’t kill cancer patients,” Skeik says. On Nov. 1, the WHO said that the hospital had shut down.
Days before that, the Israel Defense Forces presented evidence it said showed Hamas had established a command center in and beneath Al-Shifa hospital. A Hamas official denied the allegation. Targeting a hospital would be a war crime, whether or not Hamas is using it to hide in, says Susan Akram, a law professor who directs Boston University’s International Human Rights Clinic. “Israel has an obligation to protect the entire population in Gaza,” she says. For its part, Israel notes that using a hospital to hide military equipment or facilities is itself a war crime.
Even without a direct attack, the hospitals lack key supplies, which are coming in at a painfully slow pace amid the Israeli siege. On Oct. 31, the U.S. said that 66 trucks of humanitarian aid were entering Gaza daily, a fraction of the hundreds per day before the war. Fuel remains a critical issue. The Israeli military reportedly believes Hamas holds more than 500,000 liters that it could provide to hospitals. The U.S. says it is pressuring Israel to break its blockade and allow aid in. President Biden called Nov. 1 for a humanitarian “pause” in the war, but faces criticism for providing military aid to Israel.
Everyone in Gaza has been affected. “We often focus on the victims of airstrikes,” says Dr. Brenda Kelly, a consultant obstetrician in Oxford, U.K., “but ordinary lives don’t stop. Women still go into labor. They still have miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, preterm births.” Dr. Hatem Edhair, the head of the neonatal intensive-care unit at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, fears that electricity shutting off will mean the deaths of five babies in his care who are dependent on ventilators. “If there is no electricity,” he says, “it means the end of their life.”
Al-Awda hospital’s Mhanna, speaking by phone Oct. 23 in southern Gaza, seemed unfazed by the sound of a blast during the interview. “We are afraid; we are human beings,” Mhanna says. “But we cannot do anything except continue our mission with our patients.”

21 December 2023: King Abdullah II, during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Aqaba, reiterated the need for the entire world to push for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the protection of civilians.
His Majesty stressed that the continuation of the Israeli aggression on Gaza will have disastrous repercussions on the entire region.
The King called for immediate action to facilitate the delivery of sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to the Strip, which faces catastrophic humanitarian conditions.
His Majesty warned of extremist settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank, as well as violations in Muslim and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, which could lead to chaos in the West Bank.
The King also reaffirmed Jordan’s complete rejection of the forced displacement of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.
Additionally, His Majesty warned against any attempts to separate the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, which must jointly form the Palestinian state.
There will be no peace nor stability without a just solution to the Palestinian issue on the basis of the two-state solution that fulfils the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, the King noted.
His Majesty highlighted the important role of France and the European Union in supporting the two-state solution by stepping up efforts to create a political horizon that would lead to just, comprehensive, and lasting peace.
For his part, President Macron commended Jordan’s efforts, led by His Majesty, to work towards reaching peace on the basis of the two-state solution, which guarantees regional security and stability.
The president highlighted Jordan’s important role in enhancing international coordination to maximise the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, as well as the Kingdom’s efforts to provide aid and medical services through its two field hospitals in the Strip.
President Macron expressed France’s interest in receiving Gazan children suffering from cancer for treatment at French hospitals, in coordination with Jordan, noting that other European countries are also interested in receiving wounded Gazan children to offer them medical treatment.
The president said France is keen on increasing humanitarian aid for Gaza, in coordination with Jordan, welcoming the announcement of procedures to facilitate aid delivery to Gaza through Karm Abu Salem crossing.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, the French delegation accompanying President Macron, and France’s Ambassador to Jordan Alexis Le Cour Grandmaison attended the meeting.

photos by: JODIE BRIM CREATIVE While every stage of a woman’s life brings new joys and challenges, each phase is immensely personal. As women, we know nothing soothes the mind and soul like an open, honest relationship with your healthcare provider, and that’s a truth Hawthorne Obstetrics & Gynecology has lived by since its inception. Generations of Winston-Salem women have trusted their expertise and welcoming family atmosphere, along with their commitment to the highest quality personalized care. Hawthorne providers may very well be currently delivering babies for mothers they also delivered – the amazing circle of life! Founder Dr. Richard E. Hedrick, Jr. began this journey at his solo practice in 1983, focusing on obstetrics and gynecology, gradually adding board-certified physicians, physician assistants, nurses, sonographers and support staff through the years. You’ll find state-of-the-art technology but always with a comforting touch. Dr. Kerri R. Scherer, who has been treating patients here since 2003, was drawn to the field when she realized the impact she could have on women during key life moments. “This is a very privileged job,” explains Dr. Scherer. “It’s such a blessing to be present with women during their happiest times – such as pregnancy and labor – but also during difficult times such as miscarriages and cancer diagnoses. I love that I’m able to follow my patients throughout various stages of their lives.” Hawthorne OBGYN sees you through family planning, gynecological care, diagnostics and treatments, and performs several in-office surgeries for your convenience, so you can get the care you need and be back to doing what you love. Providers balance thoroughly treating patients with maintaining a comforting atmosphere – and that keeps families coming back, generation after generation. They also serve the community at both North Carolina Baptist Hospital and Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. Meet the Heart of Hawthorne OBGYN Anthony L. Heat Acclimation and a Pedal Partner Visit
This past Sunday myself and a few of my PHAT Tuesday teammates headed out for a 60+ mile training ride. Here in Massachusetts it was a hot and humid Sunday. We rode at a steady pace and made sure to stay hydrated. We were only riding just over half the distance of Day 1 of the PMC, so it was good to get acclimated to the heat.
Our route also took us near our 2012 Pedal Partner, Stephen D'Ercole. At age 3 he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (aka ALL), tThe most common type of leukemia in children under 15. He received treatment for 2 years . The first year of his treatment was very extremely difficult. He was initially hospitalized for 35 days. In total, he spent 73 nights the first year at Children's Hospital.
To make a long story short, he is now a healthy college student entering his senior year at Salem State University and over this summer he is a branch manager for a College Painters franchise out of Norton, MA.
It is stories like Stephen's that motivate myself and others on our team to keep riding and raising funds year after year.
There are 24 days to this year's Pan-Mass Challenge and I am almost halfway to my goal of $12,000. July has started off strong with an additional $1,175 rolling in. So if you can, please donate to my ride to support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
100% of every donation goes directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston and supports cancer research & patient care.

Eclipse Notes, April 8th, 2024 This is an update on the previous post on the eclipse.
Personally, I don’t go with all the Biblical prophecies going around about Salem and Ninevah. A lot of these videos may be well intentioned, but just add to the fearporn and as always, best to study it to see. I do not wish to exacerbate that, but that hysteria has been whipped up is not surprising as it is human to seek meaning with dramatic celestial events and full solar eclipses confound and alarm people.
Eclipses also bering awe and wonder so I’d concentrate on that feeling. But the stories can obscure the truth which takes longer study, and a concentrated effort to peel back the layers to unearth its deeper meaning. Remember as Alan Watts said of Zen Buddhist philosophy: the finger pointing to the Moon is not the Moon.
Eclipses are natural astronomical phenomena that happen 4-6 times a year. Perhaps people just have not paid attention to them before? Simply put; the Moon will align in front of the sun blocking its light to the earth for a few minutes. It is a physically observable phenomenon for those in the eclipse path which happens to be the USA. This is great if you are able to see it, and even if there are clouds, you can still feel it. But many parts of the world will not see it, and time differences can be major e.g. I am in Bali at the moment so it will be April 9th before the eclipse is visible in the US as Bali is 14 hours ahead, so why should there be any concern?
The symbolism of a full solar eclipse is another thing, but to pile on meanings that do not belong to it does not help people remain steady and calm. Not all coincidences or names are significant, only some and there is a need to be discerning. There is no need for alarm. We have three more eclipses coming this year and three more total solar eclipses before 2030. April 8th is an opportunity to witness the sun being blacked out by the moon as it aligns with the earth and that must be truly awesome.
But it is true that the higher the visiblity of the eclipse path across countries and cities, the greater the effect. So the USA is under the path and should see some radical changes there not least because it is going through its Pluto return now.
It could affect us all but as the Sun symbolically represents especially those highly visible characters particularly the male leaders. Though people may think otherwise, some of them have been in power far too long, have involvement with corruption, or have not earned their position by a mandate from the people and who also have histories of abuse. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius we had the French Revolution and even Nostradamus predicted loss of heads.
Benjanin Netanyahu (Libra) Currently he has a North Node return at 15° of Aries, opposite his Neptune conjunct South Node. The Eclipse will still be close to that point in his chart. Masses of people in Tel Aviv are calling for his resignation and it is claimed he has been hurried into hospital awaiting a hernia operation.
King Charles (Scorpio) He was coronated on May 6th 2023 when there was a Lunar eclipse the day before, perhaps using that eclipse energy to boost his status? The April 8th eclipse trines his Mars at 20° of Sagittarius and opposes his Venus/Neptune at 14-16° of Libra by a few degrees but that also conjuncts the South node at 15° Libra, opposing the North Node.
Joe Biden ( Scorpio) The eclipse itself for Biden does not have major connections. But it is square to his Jupiter at 25° of Cancer. His Moon in early Taurus is also square to Pluto at the beginning of Aquarius. His Saturn in Gemini is loosely square to the Saturn/Mars conjunction in Pisces.
Emmanuel Macron (Sagittarius) The eclipse is opposite Macron’s natal Pluto in Libra and will soon have a reverse Node conjunction when the Nodes get to 11° of Aries end of June early July 2024.He is currently not very popular among the French and just ask Senegalese what they think of him.
Rishi Sunak (Taurus) The eclipse is a few degress from his natal Moon at 23° of Aries with transiting Mercury being at 24° But his chances as an unelected billionaire prime minister in the coming general election this year are slim.
Klaus Schwab (Aries) Schwab being an Aries has a stellium of planets (Sun/Saturn/Venus/Mercury) in Aries so the current stellium (Sun/Moon/Mercury/Chiron/Venus and the North Node) in Aries is concentrated there, hitting every natal planet and giving him a bumpy ride even though he is out of the news at the moment.
Vladimir Putin ( Libra) With Russian leader, the North Node opposes his Sun in Libra conjunct the South Node and the eclipse lands at the midpoint opposition to his Saturn and Neptune in Libra. He is already in his 5th term as president of Russia despire having so many enemies.
Donald Trump (Gemini) The eclipse actually trines his Moon at 21° Sagittarius aand sextiles his Sun/North Node at 22° of Gemini so that does not look so bad for him. Being resilient comes naturally to Geminis but the ecilpse does oppose his Jupiter at 17 of Libra and the fact that Chiron is right there too is significant as his own Chiron is at 14° of Libra opposes conjuncts the South Node and opposes the North Node at 15° of Aries. Chiron could bring vulnerability or healing either way.
Justin Trudeau (Capricorn)
This eclipse is visible in the city where Trudeau was born, Ottowa, and that could signal a stronger effect. It lands on his natal Moon at 17° of Aries and on the North Node at 15 °. This is opposite Uranus at 17° of Libra. He has Chiron in Aries at 9° so has already been through his Chiron return. Whatever you think of him, many inside his own government are actively trying to have him removed and the majority of Canadians cannot forgive him for what he did to the truckers. Neptune will eventually cross his Mars at that ‘endpoint’ degree of 29° of Pisces which should be very interesting as Saturn will also reach that point around his birthday 25th December 2025.
These are all significant placements but you could argue in some cases, not major,so no big deal, but eclipses are tricky and events could go either way – it can also suddenly bring people into power who were unknowns. So we can watch out for that too. Politics- or Poli-tricks as it should be called, is well known for concealing vital information or being ‘economical with the truth’ and using Spin doctors to make what is bad look good and vice versa. Watch the film ‘Wag the Dog’ (1997) to see exactly how that is done.
Perhaps nothing will happen immediately to any of them or it will be some other leaders that disappear out of sight. They may all still appear to be in position, but what may be happening behind the scenes is another thing altogether, and we are not being told and events later in the year will bring about a shift in their status.
In the immortal words of Johnny Rotten at the very last Sex Pistols gig in the US- he said sneeringly ‘Ever feel like you’ve been cheated?’

VENERABLE PATAPIOS OF THEBES (7th.c.)
Saint Patapios was born at Thebes into a pious Christian family. Reaching the age of maturity, he scorned the vanity of this world, and so he went into the Egyptian desert where he became known for his ascetic deeds. Though he wished to live in silence, people began coming to him for advice.
To every tired pilgrim who visited his cell, he offered rest and hospitality, as well as spiritual instructions and profitable counsel for the salvation of one's soul. The Saint's reputation spread quickly, and every day many arrived at his cell in order to hear these beneficial instructions from his lips.
Later, he went to Constantinople, where he had a cell by the city wall, near the Blachernae church. But even here, he soon became known. The infirm started to gather around Patapios, and because he had been granted the gift of healing, he helped all those in need.
Once a certain woman was afflicted by the terrible disease of cancer, and worms came forth from her breasts. Not only did she suffer a great deal of pain in her chest, but throughout her entire body as well. She was in constant pain, and it reached her heart, so that she was near death. The doctors could not help her, and she felt she was wasting her money without obtaining relief. Therefore, she came to Saint Patapios and fell at his feet, begging him to heal her. The worms were devouring her flesh even before she was in the grave, causing her such pain that she longed for death.
The Saint answered, "If you have faith in the Lord, and have no doubt that you shall be healed, then let it be done according to your faith."
Sighing from the depths of her soul, she said, "I believe, O Lord that You know all things which are hidden and unknown, and that You are all-powerful. Therefore, have mercy on me and heal me."
Then the Saint asked the woman to let him see the effects of her distress. When he saw the ravages of the disease, he was struck with awe, saying, "Your affliction is indeed great, and difficult to cure. Go in peace, for you shall not suffer anymore."
As soon as he said this, the woman was healed and went home rejoicing and glorifying God. She told of this miracle everywhere, and praised Saint Patapios.
After a life adorned with virtue and miracles, Saint Patapios fell asleep in the Lord and was buried in the church of Saint John the Baptist.
MARTYR ANTHUSA AT ROME (5th.c.)
The Holy Martyr Anthusa, the wife of a Roman official, was baptized by Saint Ambrose of Milan (December 7). When the city prefect’s wife Sunilda suggested that Saint Anthusa be baptized by an Arian, she refused. So she was committed to the fire, and received the crown of martyrdom.

HEBREWS 7:1-6
1 For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, 2 to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated "king of righteousness," and then also king of Salem, meaning "king of peace," 3 without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually. 4 Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils. 5 And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brethren, though they have come from the loins of Abraham; 6 but he whose genealogy is not derived from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises.
LUKE 21:28-33
28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near. 29 Then He spoke to them a parable: "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30 When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

EDITOR: Wonderful news to report: Pat’s Cash and Carry will reopen on Tuesday, March 21. They plan to open Tuesday-Saturday from 11am-4pm. I was so excited to get this wonderful news. Karen’s daughters will resume the duties to continue to serve our community. “Pat’s” has been a community gathering place throughout my whole life. As a little girl in the 1960s, I remember going down there for crickets to go fishing, an ice cream cone, or a can of kerosene for a heater. “Pat’s” was a vital part of existence then, and still is now. “Pat’s” is like going home for a visit. It was back then, and it surely is now. Go visit the girls as they carry the torch of their mother, into another generation, for your family, and for theirs. We miss Karen dearly. But, I know her sweet spirit will be felt and that she is smiling down from her new home in heaven, proud of her girls. LRMartin

Ashton Recalls by Ashton Hester
Here is the second installment of the DAR School memoir: DAR SCHOOL STUDENT FROM 1942-1946 RECALLS EXPERIENCES - (Second Installment). . .Soon after we arrived we were sent to the infirmary to get shots and be tested to see if we had TB. This was done by Dr. Boggs of Greenville and the school nurse who we called Mother Frazier. They were also supposed to draw a vial of blood for other tests, but when they tried to draw my blood they couldn't get any. They tried several times but finally gave up. When Mother Frazier would see me going across the campus she would say, "There goes the girl who hasn't got a drop of blood". . .The first time we went to the dining room to eat, I was about to sit at the first table I came to, but an older girl told me, "You can't sit here, it's reserved." I didn't know what "reserved" meant, and I began to cry. Then this real nice girl told me, "Come here, honey, you can sit at my table." I was so thankful for her. . .That night I became real homesick, and I wrote Mama a letter saying I wanted to return home and asking her to come get me. She wrote back saying I had to stay, because if I left, Mrs. Kirksey would be so disappointed. So I toughed it out and soon got over being homesick. . .All the students called Mr. and Mrs. Cain "Daddy Ralph" and "Mama Lillian." They became our adopted parents. . .Maggie and I were given jobs to do, since the school was allowing us to work instead of having to pay tuition. . .My first job was making uniforms for the students. The uniforms we wore through the week were of medium blue Indian head material, but the Sunday ones were of Navy blue gabardine. We wore them with a white collar. . .I thoroughly enjoyed making uniforms because I had always wanted to sew, but Mama was afraid I would break her sewing machine needle. They were hard to replace during the war. . CONTINUED NEXT WEEK.

It is my solemn duty to report that Chief Petty Officer Jeffery Perrone, US Navy Submarine Service, of Ilion, NY, has joined those on Eternal Patrol and succumbed to the devastating effects of advanced stage neuroendocrine carcinoma. He was 2 weeks shy of his 42nd birthday.
Chief Perrone served on the USS Providence (SSN-719) for two tours as Quartermaster based at SUBASE New London, Groton, CT, the USS Alexandria (SSN-757) as Assistant Navigator (ANAV) based at Naval Base Point Loma, San Diego, CA, and the USS Albany (SSN-753) as ANAV based at NS Norfolk, Norfolk VA. Shore commands included a full tour at Camp Ali Al Salem in Kuwait, NSSC at SUBASE New London, and Submarine Group 10 at SUBASE Kings Bay, GA. Chief Perrone was dedicated to his decades long career in the US Navy and was looking forward to a peaceful retirement, and the remainder of his life that was cruelly stripped away from him.
He was a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a medieval recreation society where he took on the name of Gieffrei de Toesni, and studied the history and techniques of numismatics and coin making in the Middle Ages. He inspired many to take up the art, and was inspired by others to take to the battlefield. There was no craft he did not excel at.
He is survived by his wife of almost-9 years Angela, his grandmother Arlene, mother Carol, sisters Barbara and Marjorie, nieces Abigail and Mycena, and grand-niece Elizabeth.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to his care teams at Moffitt Cancer Center, and the James A. Haley Veteran’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida, for their outstanding quality of care.
A private memorial will take place on Sunday, March 26th, and a larger Celebration of Life as an Irish Wake will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Chief Perrone’s honor to Moffitt Cancer Center and Semper Fi and America’s Fund. Please write your legislators regarding continual funding of our Veterans Affairs facilities, and demand that they do better in regard to cancer screening and preventative medicine for our active duty servicemembers. Early detection is key.
Rest well, Chief. We have the watch.
