I know im kind of bouncing from topic to topic at random, but this rewrite is big and hard to smoothly explain. Anyway, lets get to today's topic, Original Characters! Specifically, of arc one, book one

These characters are not taken from Su Susanne's missing kits page, these are fully original characters.

So, heres the list, feel free to ask about any of them:

Thunderclan

Hawkbloom & Pepperfern - the only kits of surviving character Sweetflower (paw), best friends of Mossheart and thunderclan warriors.

Sunfreckle - the youngest thunderclan queen in book 1, nursing her son and her nephew.

Canarykit/wing - Sunfreckle's son, eventual older sibling, good friend of Bracken

Amberwolf - Sunfreckle's nephew, orphaned before his eyes were open. Ends up a molly, moves to Windclan in arc 2 with her firstborn.

Shadowclan

Slugpaw/tail - the eldest shadowclan apprentice in book 1

Maplepaw/briar - darkflower's first litter, littermate of Lavenderkit and elder sister of Rowanclaw and Cedarheart. A shadowclan apprentice in book 1.

Mothpaw & Mottlepaw - sisters apprenticed under brokenstar's reign, died just before Brokenstar was exiled. Newest shadowclan apprentices in book 1.

Technically theres also Sleetkit of Riverclan, but hes there to die young and be relevant wayyy later

Daisystar

She/Her | Leader | Bisexual

At only 17 moons old, Daisystar has big paws to fill after her father's disappearance. She was chosen as deputy by the Stars-- or so Sparrowstar said-- and is still training her first apprentice all while having to learn the ropes of leadership. Before she became leader, she was often seen with a toothy grin and a pawful of jokes and terrible puns. Now, it seems, she hardly smiles at all.

Heartsilk

She/He | Deputy | Lesbian

Rattlepaw's mentor & aunt.

A charming senior warrior and newly made deputy, Heartsilk is kind and charismatic. She takes to deputyship as easily as a duck takes to water, doling out patrols and giving advice as needed. It helps that most TwilightClan cats enjoy his company, even if he does make some terrible jokes. She is Rattlepaw's mentor and aunt, taking over for her previous mentor, Stonefang, after he went missing.

Seedsight

He/They | Oracle | Ace-Bi

Despite being troubled with the recent disappearances and a few cryptic messages from the Stars, Seedsight manages to keep his head high and a bright smile on their face. They always have a kind word to share or advice to give to any cat who needs it. Lately, he's been seen at Daisystar's side more often than not, discussing something in hushed tones.

Crestfrost

He/Him | Senior Warrior | Heterosexual

Daisystar's uncle.

Crestedfrost has had his fair share of life, but has never seen anything like this. He tries to recall stories from his kithood about monsters and myths, but the memories slip from his mind like sand. He works closely with Heartsilk to keep things running smoothly.

Fennelspeckle

He/Him | Warrior | Bisexual

A spirited warrior with a rebellious streak. He's spent the last 25 moons of his warriorship playing pranks and causing mischief wherever he goes. When he's not getting into hijinks, he likes to play with kits and repair dens. He seems undeterred by the strange goings-on.

Canarykit

She/Her | Kit | Unsure

A young kit under Saltflower's care. She was found in the midst of the territory with no family in sight, and spends her days watching the warriors work with wide eyes. She enjoys playing games with Fennelspeckle and bossing him around.

Rattlepaw

She/They | Apprentice | Lesbian

A rambunctious apprentice who just wants to figure out what's going on. Nobody seems to know anything, and it bothers her sooo bad! She loves the company of her family and likes playing with Canarykit, even if she's a bit odd.

Below are cats who are canon to the story but do not exist in Clangen!

Sparrowstar

He/Him | Leader | Missing, presumed deceased

TwilightClan's former leader and Daisystar's father. Sparrowstar was a fair leader, albeit grouchy at times and aggressively maintained TwilightClan's borders even in times of peace. He went missing one night two moons before after going on a nightly walk alone and was never found.

Stonefang

He/Him | Warrior | Missing, presumed deceased

Rattlepaw's former mentor. He was a stern tom who planned to become a miner after Rattlepaw gained her warrior name. He will never get to see that day.

Ivyheart & Addertail

Rattlepaw's Mother & Father

Rattlepaw's parents, both warriors. Ivyheart is passionate, snarky, and fiercely protective of her family. She's kept a closer eye on Rattlepaw for the last few moons. Addertail is her mellow counterpart, but loves his family all the same. He's the resident chef of the Clan, tending to the firepit and making meals during holidays and special occasions.

Pinefrost

He/Him | Senior Miner | Bisexual

Pinefrost oversees all other miners as they work. Lately, he's been reporting to Daisystar about troubling whispers his miners have heard down in the tunnels. Miners seemed to have suffered the most losses as strange cave-ins and disappearances tally up over the moons.

Brackentail, Mosswhisker, Brambleshade & Smokefleck

The few miners left with the recent disappearances and deaths.

Emberstorm, Rainfall, Russetsnap & Robintail

Warriors that have pushed themselves to hunt and defend their Clan despite the disappearances. Some have noticed they've been overworking themselves.

A former DawnClan cat that joined TwilightClan in her apprenticeship. She is Canarykit's foster mother.

Update on Juniperlight: she definitely killed more, and she has 7 beautiful adopted children that need names! All the babies have orange eyes, and locality wise, they grew up around Tule lake in Oregon!

Alright Y'all I was planing on making a kitten post like the couple post, interacting between siblings and their parents and it was gonna be all good and dandy.

I got artblock. It's easier to draw canon characters who've already interacted with each other, so it's easier to imagine how romantic interactions might be. With characters built from the ground up its a little harder so I thought "why not show their references and ask the followers what they wanna see?" So here we go!

Kestrelflight and Lionblaze have 2 litters, the first consisting of their eldest daughter Chickadeesong and the second consisting of their daughter Finchkit, and their children Canarykit and Cuckookit.

Chickadeesong is widely know as Windclan's biggest asset, she's big, she's strong and she's terrifying to met in battle. However Chickadee is actually very sweet and after the initial backlash of, well, her existing, a lot of Windclan became very protective of her as a kitten and so Chickadee grew up being very grateful for her clan and becoming the absolute UNIT she is in order to protect them in turn. Chickadee is both taller and bigger than her father Lionblaze and has all the heart of both her dads~ She's Windclan's collective big sister and really cares for all her clanmates, even the ones who still try to throw a fuss about her half clan blood. Chickadee is very close with her cousins Brindlewing and Smokehaze, whom she's older than by a bit, and three of them consider themselves as sisters. This kind of brings Lionblaze and Breezepelt closer together as brothers too, seeing as their daughters adore each other. Chickadee is very claustrophobic and can't sleep in the burrow dens that Windclan uses.

Canarykit is the second oldest KestrelLion baby and is definitely based off of Tweety Birb from looney tunes. Canary and their siblings had a much easier time growing up than their older sister and thus aren't as self conscious about their place within Windclan. Therefore Canary is much more comfortable with flirting across their borders for fun, especially the easily impressed Barn Cats who live near the gathering lake. Canary grows up to be a very sweet but devious cat who is known for being a little difficult to get close to, however they're still a reliable warrior and is always trying to keep up moral. Canary's warrior name would reflect their personality.

Finchkit is the first youngest daughter of Kestrelflight and Lionblaze. Finchkit is the most Windclan-like kit from her litter and is the fastest as well. Finch is loud, rowdy and has a bit of a temper that often gets her into trouble. She and Chickadee are both very good fighters and are usually on the front line in battles. The scar on her face is from her first time hunting a rabbit, it kicked her in the face and she finds it super embarrassing. Finch is the most like her half-uncle and grandfather, which as an apprentice was very concerning for her fathers. Breezepelt (who I imagine was either her mentor or was close with her) was quick to relate to her quick temper and the first to learn of Finch's discomfort in Windclan. After meeting her Thunderclan kin she felt much more comfortable among them and was scared to tell anyone else and thus would lash out at any complements towards her more 'Windclan like' mannerisms. To this day she hasn't told anyone else and is scared to talk about it, especially now as she's devolved a crush on the Thunderclan warrior Eaglewing. Finchkit's warrior name is Finchflare, for both her tail and her fiery personality.

Cuckookit is the youngest KestrelLion baby. They are the quietest of the siblings and also the smallest, their older siblings are very protective of them. Cuckoo also has asthma and as a warrior begins carting lungwort to treat any sudden flare ups. They hunt and fight just as well as other warriors but they also help queens and elders, and they help build temporary dens for their father and sister when the weather is bad. Cuckoo is very mellow and easy going, and is one of the friendlier siblings along with Chickadee. Speaking of Chickadee, Cuckoo and Chickadee are very close and are usually seen together, even at gatherings when they could be with others. Cuckoo also has a good relationship with their younger cousins Woodpaw and Applepaw, along with their cousin Swiftsnow from Thunderclan! Cuckookit's warrior name would likely have something to due with their perseverance and loyalty.

he loves her :) she's a part of his family, which has always been extremely small (and up until this point, only getting smaller) and extremely important to him. he probably visits the nursery at least once a day. Canarykit probably thinks that her uncle is a little intimidating, though

... remember how I said I had some dark kit ideas for Raceglint and Magpieleap?

there are now five bird themed children who love shiny things and still have no fighting skill besides what Spotgrowl can teach them

Their names:

Sparrowkit/Sparrowshine (named after Magpieleap's nickname and Raceglint's love of shiny things)

Bluejaykit/Bluejayshimmer (named after the territorial bird and again, Raceglint liking shiny things)

Shrikekit/Shrikemoth (named after both Magpie's nickname and the actual bird, and he has a adoration of moths)

Canarykit/Canarycall (named after Canarysky, one of Magpie's friends, and the fact that canaries tend to stop singing in tight areas if the air is getting bad)

Starlingkit/Starlingsnarl (named after Magpie's sibling and Spotgrowl)

Lionblaze x Kestrelflight is such a good ship do you have any headcanons or anything for them? 👀 👀

I love this ship so much, I think it's the cutest thing ever.

This is,,,less headcanons and more a small rewrite of Power of Three,,,whoops

Ok so, they met in the tunnels instead of Lionpaw and Heatherpaw. Kestrelpaw was looking for herbs and got stuck, cue Lionpaw coming to his rescue and leading him out. They start talking at gatherings and become friends, then they decide "I don't wanna wait a whole month to talk to my friend, let's met up in the tunnels!"

So they do! They role play like Heather and Lion did in canon but the also talk about deep stuff. Kestrelpaw tells Lionpaw about his family and how he feels out of place or like he has so much more responsibility since his father is the leader (i headcanon Heathertail, Kestrelflight and Harespring as the children of Onestar). Meanwhile Lionpaw confines in Kestrelpaw about his issues, how he feels like he's got no control over his emotions or how he's afraid he might seriously hurt someone one day.

They become each other's personal confidant and it's great! Plus, Lionpaw is more inclined to reject Tigerstar's offer at training cause "Kestrelpaw says I have great restraint! I don't need some old ghost telling me that!" And then he tells Kestrelpaw "dude I saw a ghost is that normal??" This could also lead to a Medicine Cat!Lionblaze au if you wanted. Basically tunnels friends lasts a lot longer cause Lionpaw is more confident in himself thanks to having someone he can talk to and Kestrelpaw is more confident in himself as well, more confident to stand up to Onestar when he gets the authority to do so.

They become mates around the middle of the Power of Three arc and when the reveal happens Lionblaze is very tempted to agree with Hollyleaf's plan to run away to Windclan. Kestrelflight supports whatever decision he makes and the two decide to take a break from being mates until everything blows over. Omen of The Stars gose over "normally" but when the arc ends, Lionblaze leaves Thunderclan to be with Kestrelflight!

They have 2 litters! The first litter is one daughter named Chickadeesong, a big gal with a big heart who loves her dads! The second litter has three kittens, Finchkit, Canarykit and Cuckookit!

Lionblaze adjusts pretty well to Windclan but is still a bit awkward, he mostly patrols and hunts, he dosen't participate in battles cause he knows he couldn't bring himself to fight his old clan. So he becomes a part time den dad! If he's not sleeping in the nursery he's sleeping in the medicine den with Kestrelflight, his husband is never cold with him around~
