Introduction Post

Hello everybody! I’m Professor Laurel, and I’m excited to join this community! I’m already fairly active on Reddit but I decided to make a Tumblr as well cause it seems like a fun site!

Some basic info about me (besides being a professor): I’m from the Mereescea region, I’m trans masc (he/him), and I currently own seven Pokémon! My ‘mons are Peonie the Lurantis, Patroclus the Sylveon (Pat for short), and the five Fomantis that aren’t actively with me but live in a tank setup at my house (Iris, Orchid, Sakura, Crocus, and Hyacinth)

Sometimes my posting might be a little sporadic, but I’ll do my best to stay active!

That is Where They Wait: Chapter masterlist

"Never enter the mansion...that is where they wait." All the ninja want to do after the last crazy Day of the Departed is relax. But here comes trouble knocking at the door with a missing ally, and an old, abandoned mansion, and - what in the world is that thing?! Watch your backs, ninja. You will not scrape by so cleanly this time. Escape is not so easy.

here’s the list to all the chapters for my Ninjago fic, That is Where They Wait! thought it would do some good to organize it and keep it here on tumblr, as well. HUGE shoutout to my beta park over at @canaryart/@artcanary for being a huge help/inspiration! literally could not do this without them and their motivation (the LOVELY cover art you see here is by StoneByrd on deviantart! She’s wonderful and her art is absolutely gorgeous!) warnings abound for this fic. if you’re looking for a fun, happy time, this is not your place to go. will (hopefully) be long and kind of confusing. plenty of blood/maybe some gore beyond that. supernatural stuff happens, as evidenced by the summary! plenty of, ahem, allusions to death and a past war, except taken a couple notches too far because I don’t know how to chill. no ships, even established pairings, because I can’t write romance and it’s just not worth the discourse. warnings will be added as I go for the sake of spoilers!

We were talking the other day about what you hoped to do with your webcomic, Robinfox District, and it inspired me to do this drawing of Nium, of what I thought he would look like post-Chapter 1, with spooky eyes and a discharge of energy constantly coming off him. 

Dang idk how you did several pages of this drawing tuxes are hard.

I can work off a simple description if necessary, reference images are not required - however, if you don’t give me a reference, I may take some creative liberties with the description given. Please be specific if you’ve got something specific you’re after.
