Quick disclaimer/warning: This document is LONG, it's almost 50 pages, so please don't feel pressured to read the whole thing, especially not in one shot. Also, I have included some disclaimers at both the beginning and end, including the fact that I am not an expert in any of the stuff I've written about in this document and if I have made any mistakes, I apologize, feel free to offer corrections, so long as we're all nice to each other. So awhile ago I started writing a Lois and Clark (Superman show from the 90s) and Invincible cross over, and though my brain has checked out on it too much for me to ever think I'll write enough of it to post the fic- it did get me thinking about something.

Mainly, Nolan meeting Clark's parents and deciding to adopt Jonathon Kent as his father. Given the guy's whole storyline, I don't think I've ever seen any meta about him wondering about his own parental relationships. The show gave us a tidbit that was not present in the comics which arguably alters SO MUCH about the guy, but at the end of the day I can't help but wonder how having a father figure would alter Nolan as a person.

Plus I just think it would be super funny.

Context: Mael is pissy Garren essentially tortured a version of him in a fractal into becoming a demon (for the good of Tyria, but also something something, don't accidentally create a self-fulfilling prophecy) He then tried to kill Garren in an elaborate murder/suicide scheme, failed, got put in jail, got some theraphy, and now we have two exceedingly powerful magical immortals locked in a petty shitstorm because both of them know the other won't/can't kill them at the time as to not further endanger the future of Tyria.

Trust me, this was the TLDR. XD Also some context abt how I feel about Garren as a character in the tags 👍
