Hii! I've seen some Pregnancy scenario with LaD's men, but I have this HC-- personally for Sylus. That when fem!reader got pregnant, he didn't really understand how the Pregnancy hormones work, until he experienced one and he got confused how he should act or react because it's feels like he's walking on landime, one wrong move/word, she'd throwing tantrum or being sulky at him

I've heard from my Friend who got pregnant before, when she craving something and her Husband showing any form that he can't fulfill what she's craves, she felt her heart broken, and she'd sulk and acted as if he just cheated on her. The problem is, she always craved something that didn't even exist at that moment😂, she's craving certain type of Mango while it's not even that Mango season, so nobody selling it. He literally being desperate to negotiate with her cravings

So... Can I request a scenario smiliar like that? It doesn't have to be mango, or any foods. Just... how Pregnancy hormones or Cravings could make Sylus got frustated lol

“Sy, d’you know what I’m craving right now?”

“Always, sweetie.” Sylus doesn’t look up from his book. “Not now, though. I’m tired.”

Morning sunlight streams through the gaps in your living room curtains, casting pale yellow shapes over the floor. A shard of it has been inching over the sofa towards Sylus, the sharp edge now grazing the side of his face. He shifts, ever so slightly, away from its touch. His eyes are open but heavy.

“No,” you scold, leaning forwards to swat at him with your book. “That’s not what I meant, you narcissist.”

He chuckles with his usual low timbre— his gaze still not lifting— and the sound is deeper for how close he is to sleep. He wants to give in to it, you can tell. When he turns a page, the movement is languid, soft. You’re losing him.

“Sy,” you say again, then with more of a whine: “Sylus.”

His eyes flutter closed as he draws in a deep breath. His hand raises, his fingers stretching to pull his reading glasses from his face. They’re set down on the arm of the chair beside him, along with the book, and he turns to you with a smile. “What are you craving, sweetie?”

You rest your book on your stomach. Your legs are stretched out over Sylus’s lap, and his hand finds one of your feet, massaging an ache from it as you begin your speech. “Do you remember that café we used to go to? The one we found when it started raining in the park that day? We didn’t think it was open, but then the owner knocked on the window and said we could—”

“Yeah?” His hand moves to your other foot.

“Well, they make these—”

“Macarons.”

“You remember?”

His smile widens like he remembers vividly. “Kitten, how could I forget? I’m still jealous of that sweet little treat. You’ve never made that face for me, and believe me—” he wiggles one of your toes— “I’ve tried.”

That had been one of the only times you’d truly caught him off-guard, back when your feelings for one another were unnamed and uncharted. The rain had been drumming against the café window, and you’d heaved Sylus’s damp coat from your shoulders— giggled at the raised eyebrow and the sarcastic ‘…thanks’ he’d given in turn. One hot drink later, you were lifting a pastel pink macaron to your lips, taking a delicate bite and failing to stifle a tiny, almost euphoric moan.

You remember realising yourself: blushing profusely and expecting some remark, some ridicule, but none ever came. Sylus’s eyes were wide, dark, fixed upon your still parted mouth.

After a few of the longest seconds of your life, he’d dragged the plate with the rest of the macarons away from you and muttered something about how you had better not do that again.

“They’re still the sweetest things I’ve ever tasted,” you tease now, just as you’d wrestled him for that plate back then, set on eating every last macaron.

He makes a hmph as he idly runs a finger over the part of your foot he knows is ticklish. His expression is distinctly grumpy, but it falters as you laugh and try to writhe away from him.

You’re quickly out of breath. “Sylus?”

“Mmm?”

He glances up at you and you smile sweetly, head tilting. “Please?”

His coat on a rainy day. The entire plate of macarons in the end; he’s never been very good at denying you anything. For the first time since you’d stirred him from his book, however, he appears genuinely regretful. “You’re forgetting something, sweetie,” he murmurs gently. “Why did we stop going to that café, hmm?”

You shrug.

“It closed, kitten,” he sighs. “Months ago.”

“What?”

Not only did you already know that— you actually visited the café on its final day. The owner was telling you stories: he was moving somewhere warmer, closer to family, and he needed all the funds he could get. Sylus had snuck an obscene amount of money into the man’s tip jar whilst you acted as a distraction. You both had fond memories of that place; it was nice to make one more.   

It's all coming back to you and you’re struck by a wave of nostalgia. You want to go back there. You can’t go back there. It doesn’t exist anymore, and you’ll never taste sweetness like that again.

Your mouth has gone dry.

“Sweetie?” Sylus prompts, because he notices you’re far away. “Are you alright?”

“Yeah,” your voice wobbles, “I just really wanted… I mean, I really needed one of those—”

“… Macarons?” he finishes for you.

You burst into tears, and one day, you’ll tally this as another time you took the man by surprise. His face drops instantly— lost, for a moment— before he slides your legs from his lap, allowing him to lean closer. “No, no, no,” he coos, “don’t cry, kitten, please. I didn’t mean to… well, I didn’t realise…”

He doesn’t know what to say, and he always knows what to say. He set you off with a single word and now he’s stuttering like sentences are all possible landmines. He tries his luck again, putting a foot forward: “Listen to me. I’ll go to the store. Would that be alright? Or perhaps there’s another café that could—”

You explode: sobbing even more viscerally. Your whole body shakes with it.

Sylus has frozen. He watches on helplessly as you cry, blabbering about the macarons you can’t have and the café you can’t return to. Across the room, even Mephisto has hunched down on his perch, though he issues a few, spirited squawks, maybe in solidarity with your breakdown, or maybe in protest of it.

It’s like a catalyst. You cry more: burying your face in your hands because what the hell is wrong with you? It’s not a big deal. It’s not a big deal, so why do you feel sick? And then there’s Sylus— your Sylus, devoted and adoring— and here you are, punishing him for something beyond his control.

You look up from your hands, desperate to apologise, but he’s gone. More shards of sunlight paint his empty seat and catch all that’s left of him: a few crow feathers, glistening like onyx. Mephisto is gone too, and the room is quiet, save for you snivelling and feeling sorry for yourself.

“Sylus?” you call out into the empty morning.

It isn’t his fault, not really. You wouldn’t want to be around you, either.

…

Something brushes over your cheek, and your tired eyes open.

The sun has ebbed back behind the curtains and the ceiling light has taken its place, casting artificial highlights over everything in reach: the coffee table, the closed-up flowers at its centre and a mug of tea that’s gone cold. Sylus is in front of you too, backlit and soft like a daydream, and he—

He left you.

“Sy?” you whisper warily, because the context is coming back to you slowly, piece by piece.

“Hey,” he coaxes, voice as honeyed as whatever’s turned the air sweet.

You blink, rubbing sleep from your eyes and relishing the warmth of his hand on your face. Then you slap his shoulder. “Hey, really? That’s all you’ve got— hey?”

He’s kneeling for you— on the floor, beside the couch— so you can meet his eyes. He settles his chin thoughtfully on the edge of the seat, his nose almost touching yours. “What would you prefer, sweetie?” His lips are close to yours too. “Good evening, my beloved? Greetings, my queen?”

“How about sorry?” you snap, because he isn’t cute and he isn’t charming.

He pouts. “Why sorry?”

“Because you left, Sylus!” You sit up straighter, and your phone tumbles out of your lap. Its screen is still lit-up from a few hours ago, showcasing a very one-sided conversation and a rant you never actually sent, because it’s still in the text box.

You vaguely recall writing it, so you try to snatch the phone from Sylus’s hand as he plucks it from the floor. He’s more alert than you. More co-ordinated. He keeps it out of your grasp as he reads the unsent message, an eyebrow raising.

It was a lot of things— colourful, creative— not entirely tasteful. “My, my, your highness,” he tuts, “so this is the treatment your valiant knight receives for undertaking your quest?”

“You’re not valiant,” you rebuke, and you manage to wrestle your phone from him. “You’re—”

“A heartless prick,” he finishes casually, quoting your message with a chuckle. He takes your free hand and kisses the back of it, refusing to let you pull away. “And whose fault is that, I wonder?”

“You can have your heart back.”

“Nope. You’re stuck with it, sweetie. With me, too. Now—” he sits back on his knees— “would you please ask me about my quest?”

The analogy is lost on you. You sit fully up, looking down at him. “What quest, oh valiant knight?”

His lips form a smirk; he just loves when you play along. “Close your eyes.”

You do— whether you’re queen or not. You hear him shifting aside, and then there’s a snap of his fingers. The air changes, warping like thick, liquid smoke, and you know he’s using his Evol. “Open,” he commands.

And there on the coffee table, freshly teleported, is a plate of macarons the colour of cherry blossoms. As if anticipating the comparison, Sylus pulls a handful of pink petals from his pocket and blows them up into the air so they can spiral down on the scene. He watches them. Then you. “Ta-da,” he proclaims, his tone dry but full of humour.

You’re prone to hyperbole nowadays, but this is without a doubt the best thing you have ever seen.

“Sylus,” you gasp in disbelief, “how did you—”

“It doesn’t matter,” he says; the story isn’t for today, and he’s very, very tired. A few weeks from now he’ll tell you about how he tracked down the contact information of the owner of the old café. How he spent an hour on the phone bargaining for a certain macaron recipe, and several more hours in the kitchen, trying to get them perfect. “Now, they might not be exactly the same, sweetie. But I did try to—”

You surge forwards, capturing his lips in a kiss. It’s so impulsive— so reckless— that you almost tumble down from the couch, but he catches you, steadies you, and your hand is gripping the soft of his hair as he kisses you back. Slowly, his mouth not leaving yours, he lifts you back into your seat.

“Easy, sweetie.” His voice is low as he pulls away, and though he turns his face from you, you can make out the blush on his cheeks. He settles back into his kneeling position on the floor. “I have one more surprise for you. Do try to control yourself.”

He retrieves a small, complete flower from his pocket, albeit one a little dreary from its journey. Sylus smiles triumphantly as he holds it out to you, and he was right; you do want to throw yourself at him. Instead, you take the flower and lean forwards, tucking it behind his ear before he can protest. He’d tilted closer to help you, and he sits back with an exasperated tsk when you’re done.

“It suits you,” you grin.

He yawns. “Everything does.”

You don’t want to get into trouble, so you shimmy to the very edge of your seat and carefully— showing tremendous restraint— reach out to take his face in your hands. “You’re amazing, Sy. Thank you for doing all of this for me, but…”

“But…?”

“I missed you. I like macarons, yeah,” you smile, “but I’d much rather have you.”

This time, he can’t hide his face and the way it goes pink, like the blossom behind his ear. His cheeks are warm beneath your palms. “You couldn’t have said that before I spent the whole day—”

His voice is strangled as you keel towards him— slow and deliberate— to thread your arms around him and pull him into a hug. He tenses for a moment, then wraps his arms around you too: holding you tightly, keeping you from falling any further. You can feel his hand stroking your back and he hums as you give him a gentle squeeze.

“Such a lovely moment, kitten,” he muses, your head on his shoulder. “I do hope it’s sincere, and not— say— an excuse for someone to get her paws on the macarons behind me.”

There’s another moment of quiet.

“Don’t be silly, Sy,” you retort, but your mouth is full, your cheeks are stuffed, and not a single word of it is intelligible.

#2-C: "...Are you worrying about me?" (Always😭😭 But somehow, she does always make me feel like no matter what, everything will be okay. (See 1-B))

No cause I 100% agree about the disappointing lore direction of veilguard. It's a beautiful game (and I'm def gonna play when I get a computer that can handle it, esp for that baddie Emmrich and the overall luscious hair physics I've seen so far), but after all the deep twisting lore build up of the previous games, DAV just felt a little glossed over and shallow in terms of everything that makes a DA game a DA game. Skin deep romance, lack of meaningful choices or sometimes any choices for that matter, and unsatisfying answers to the legacy of questions and theories that the series bore for decades.

(Personally your Ouroborous is my canon continuation at this point and DAV itself is an admittedly very pretty but glorified character creator lol. And besides, your skill and dedication to your art and storytelling practically makes you just as official as any BioWare exec in my eyes 💞💞)

I have WAY too many thoughts about this game as far as the lore goes, but I am not articulate about it the way some others are (Corseque/northgalis on here and twt has pretty much nailed all of my sentiments though). I'm also very careful about what I say because it's annoying to me when people take Very Subjective thoughts personally and get mean about it. That being said, I've read fic that had better lore...and like, I'm proud of mine too! I don't think there's anything wrong with being proud of something you've poured your whole self into, but I feel like I have to say that because someone on twt got offended😂

NOW:

They had me fooled in the beginning! I was super excited and surprised at a great number of things that they touched upon. One of my bigger excitements was the Forgotten Ones + the Forbidden! LIKE HOLY SHIT!!! I can't believe they're more than vague codexes! So there I was waiting for the revelations to get more intense and blow my fuckign mind as I progressed the game, I'm waiting for that detailed lore and insight into who and what they were like...and well, I was a let down. And then it kept happening. A lot, with other things. Many started off strongly and then either didn't go anywhere or stayed superficial? Or the lore was simplified and made into something not deep at all...or deeply unsatisfying lol. Lots of "oh that was almost good!" I'm sort of repeating everything you said, but basically I'm just trying to say I wholeheartedly agree -- also about all the choices, the cutting down of our worldstates...all of it. :(

But YES! The game is achingly gorgeous, I'm a huge fan of the art direction and style. I also adore all the companions and enjoyed them a lot! I think that their quests also suffered a bit of writing issues like the lore did, but whatever...I guess, that's what fanfic is for. I fucking LOVE Emmrich okay, he's my new fav along with Solas (and Varric. And a few others). He's perfect to me and so is my son Manfred. I can't wait to play the other romances too.

They threw in Connor for the police to test his abilities in critical situations and uploaded his experiences directly to RK900 to enhance them further, make them "faster, stronger, more resilient"; they've been planning that since the beginning and you can't convince me otherwise. President Warren and CyberLife are working so well together - it's in her interest as well not to lose control over androids.

Imagine you signed a contract with CL as the head of US for 200.000 combat units AND THEN THE ANDROIDS SUDDENLY START TO WAKE UP AND PROTEST IN AN ORGANIZED WAY SAYING THEY'RE ALIVE LOL

No wonder Amanda/CL pushed Connor so hard - they wanted to eleminate the riot before the 200,000 units are ready to be shipped. If they activated them before resolving the 'androids are awake' problem, if all those RK900s woke up, they would've wrecked the entire country if it came to a war. (Which is where I got the idea for Soulless btw. 😂)

I keep coming back to this specific panel and thinking about how vulnerable Wei Wuxian looks in the last frame. Thinking about it and assuming everything that happened before the start of HoG was canon, this is probably the first time ever Wei Wuxian was allowed to be human without everyone judging him for it or demanding that he explain why he fucked up again.

Lan Wangji just says Wei Wuxian doesn't need to explain, doesn't owe him that, he's not *entitled* to Wei Wuxian or his thoughts and feelings. Irony of finally owning himself while also feeling trapped aside, I can't imagine how raw that must have made Wei Wuxian feel.

If there's one thing that guides this story is LWJ understanding WWX's harsh position and trying to respect him as a man, as a former part of the proper cultivation world of their society, as a boy who was happy and enthusiastic once, and as a person who always stood up for what is right, even if it brought destruction upon himself and others.

In several parts of this arc I saw many people comment stuff like "hug him, lan wangji!" "kiss him!" etc, and I know it was people getting really emotional hahaha I would've commented the same.

But LWJ won't do that unless he earned WWX'S trust and love. He wants to show him support not by words of love, but by words of understanding, of taking action, of making him know that he has someone to rely on. LWJ knows what it's like to be a cultivator, how much hard work it takes, and what it means to be a part of their society. He knows that WWX position and honor as a cultivator in their world was harmed and he knows how hard it is, so if he offers any comfort, it's standing by his side as an ally in this political world and trying to find a solution to redeem his reputation. Offering romantic love is something that he'd really want to do, but doing it to a person who's been through all that hardship feels like mocking him and belittling from his status, or at least, the status WWX once had. So he's being patient and wants to help WWX the best he can. To be honest, he doesn't even rely on the possibility of his feelings being returned. He just wants to save his Wei Ying from those who wish to harm him, and to make things better for him.

In this part you shared, LWJ knows how it must feel like for WWX. Even without knowing about his trauma of being pushed from the sword, LWJ suspects that WWX might not have his core anymore (see arc 1) and plus, he feels guilty for all that WWX had to deal with on this day he planned to take him out. So even if WWX says that it's just cause he's tired, LWJ believes it too, since it's a huge emotional toll to have to sneak out hiding your identity, then the fear of being discovered, being the cause of mass panic and hate, hearing insults and accusations, realizing he's hated by all, and on top of it all - staying hungry 😭

He doesn't need WWX to explain nothing. He just wants him to rest and be safe, so that he could figure out how to help him 🥺🥺🥺🥺

I'm being serious, do you think Tommy knows how to cook? I know we didn't fully get to see it, but truthfully, me being obtuse obviously thought "yeah of course! he's ✨️grown✨️ look at him! he definitely knows" but then being thrown off remembering the dinner scene cuz the actual food was confusing like wtf were they serving 😂 and people trying to decide who made it/what and the debate that it's was Buck since he likes cooking but also it could've been Tommy cuz he seemed comfortable there and the placement of certain things seemed like he had to be the one who use them... but then the HC that Tommy's a bad cook is popular and I'm like "yeah I get it but no way! he's 40~" but then the realization that canonically many of the main characters were shown to be bad cooks 🤔 I know it's all circumstantial as to why they didn't know how to cook! I swear I understand, but I don't know if it's funny to think another adult character "can't cook" lol I'm horrified tbh 😂 I want him to be a good cook so Buck and him could be all domestic and sweet together but also, it wouldn't be shocking if they wrote another character clueless in the kitchen

Sooooo I don't have strong headcanon on this one. In my version of things he always does, but also, I could see him as someone who maybe doesn't necessarily cook a lot of things, as much as he has specific recipes that he knows how to cook? This definitely leans more into the theory about him having either his mom or grandma teaching him how to cook.

I have to believe the man knows how to make some things, given how built he is. Because you're not going to have that kind of body and not know how to nourish it properly. But I also live by the concept that hey, these are two grown men who work a hard job and they were dealing with Bobby being in the hospital, so maybe they cooked a meal out of the freezer that night?

If Tommy can't really cook, that would be a fun dynamic to see on screen. I would definitely love to see Evan showing him around the kitchen and all the stuff he's learned how to make from Bobby. But also, there's the dynamic of, he's a single adult male who's used to life on his own, and cooking for yourself is a beast all on its own, especially when you don't want leftovers. But I could also see him being like Evan is with the 118, where he cooks for his crew so that he can use those Italian recipes of his and also enjoy it.

So I mean.... I don't know that I answered this question well at all, but this is my answer lmao

OKAY I GOTTA CHANGE MY THEORY NOW

a loooong time ago, i made several posts about what i think is gonna happen in record of ragnarok. i guessed that the 12th round would end in a tie, causing an EXTRA round to happen between the extra human fighter and another god fighter we haven't seen yet cuz they only got 12 while humans have 13, so i theorized that the new god fighter would be the WINNER of the apocalypse of the gods spinoff (well... winner before zeus beats them for the last spot lol)

(and i also theorize that the last round would be odin vs nostradamus and after the latest chapter, nostradamus' valkyrie would definitely be göll!!!!)

but anyway, there's no damn way the winner of the spinoff could fight in ragnarok 😭 i think i talked about this realization of mine before, but yeah, i don't think it's happening unfortunately 😞

Is that just a point you're diverging from canon, or does that have more to do with the strength of their bond and Remi's willingness to open her mind up to him?

Yes, it’s a point I’m…diverging from canon 😒. Haha. It’s probably something for a longer post, but I wrote him that way because that’s how he read in Fourth Wing and I’m convinced that either RY changed her mind and retconned that, or Xaden’s lying in IF. More likely the first, given that Tairn knows about it and then suddenly does not. Or it could be clumsy foreshadowing. There are instances where it just doesn’t make sense for it to be intention.

Honestly whenever I say that a lot of people like to yell about the mate bond and how he’s using that, but she made a very intentional point of where she used italics and didn’t in FW, so I don’t believe that.

So to answer your question, Xaden in Remi-verse thought he could read intentions because that’s all he let himself try and do out of an abundance of caution. He never had anyone to try it out on until Remi came along, given only he and Sgaeyl knew, and the risk was too great to try anything with strangers. It's something he's stayed away from out of fear.

Now he has someone he doesn't have to be wary of that secret with, he's been exploring it more and it's developed further than in canon. They actually discuss it and its limitations a lot more this time around, especially in…chapter ten lol. I feel like I keep saying that, but it is going to be a good chapter 😂

It's like 1 AM and i don't think leo is the only one with Insomnia - ngl i felt that am getting called out 😂 - So we start and i think because it's been a long time friend the previous NQK chapter i really forgot that F!Donnie is now " Donatello " whil F!Mikey js "Michaelangelo" and brain was flipping between "huh? I as the author have the power to bring him his family back, in flesh and blood and bone, but like I said ages ago, that's not what NQK is about. It's about accepting loss and healing and finding happiness, and about family and love. They can't change the past any more than what they've already been graciously given, the only way is forward. ;_;

I'm not the same anon but I'll just share one comment i found on a GhostSoap thread on twitter "It is most likely that Activision intended for Ghost to be straight even if we don't know his sexuality or he never had romantic interaction with a woman" yada yada, this is a complete bull btw, to this person I'd just replied,if they wanna see Ghost as a het then by all means go for it, but don't put your own projection and personal opinion into a fact of Activision. Hmm I read the article and I do have to say that this was all meant in a joking sort of manner. To be quite fair, it really doesn't tell us much of anything more than we already know. And imo, it wasn't actually that well written either.

As I have said earlier, there truly isn't anything definitive we can look at in terms of sexualities. Unless otherwise stated by the characters/Activision/in game everything is open to interpretation.

The term "straight shooter" could be taken in so many ways that it doesn't hold much value. This was quite obviously meant as a play on Ghost being snarky as hell (the comedic straight man so to speak) [edit: a very honest/straightforward guy] and that he's the best sniper the 141 have. To take it as him being straight is a stretch, but I suppose you can read whatever you want into blanket statements like those. Lol.

Ghost is lit like one of those horoscopes. You can read whatever you want into him and still come out believing your assumptions are the (1) true canon because he's written in such general and vague strokes that everything sort of applies.

I'm reading other books to get the same feelings I get when I read your romance between Elain and Azriel, and they always fall short. They just don't compare, unfortunately. So thank you for taking the time to write this absolute beast of a fanfic and sharing it with fellow elriels as we wait to see sjm make a move on their story. I appreciate the hours/days/weeks you put into staring at your computer editing and wondering "Is this good enough?". Well, it's beyond good enough. Quite fantastic, if you ask me. I can't picture these two characters any other way.

The process is funny, it takes readers I dunno, 10-25 minutes to read an update. But each chapter takes me appx. 30 hours of writing / erasing / reworking / cringing / self loathing, rinse, repeat lol. This story has taken over my life this year. It's 520 pages long in novel format, can you believe?!

I know a lot of fandom writers write for themselves. But the deeply emotional nature of the darkgarden is not... fun. I am not writing it for my own enjoyment. I write for yall and so that Elain gets a love story that aches and burns and destroys worlds in the softest ways, no matter what happens in canon.

I frequently wish I had pursued something short, fun, sweet or sexy to try my hand at writing rather than taking on a full length angst+longing centric slow burn novel. but here we are 😂

honestly if I get to choose how hotd was adapted I would have preferred it taken to an animation studio that knows to respect the source material, like the teams that worked with 86 and The Apothecary Diaries which are both light novels? You would feel the love, care, and respect the teams for those shows. esp 86, there were scenes and anime OG scenes that made the story even better than the LN, ofc they are not perfect adaptations, but if the same love and care was given to hotd and not this bs bias and etc, I won't even consider dropping it.

Tw: Suicide

So I often think about Louis living at Trinity Gate with Armand. Basically, why is he there in the first place? Because for some reason I always thought it said, but after fact checking I can safely say it's all in my head 😂 and here it is (the quote is canon, and it's surrounding it that helped me to apparently make up the rest lmao):

So after Louis' suicide attempt in Merrick he can't bear to be around Lestat at that present moment in time. This is because he had managed to succeed in taking his life, only for him to be brought back by Lestat, and not to mention he's now stronger and more powerful than before.

"I'm almost as strong as you are now, my blessed Maker. For better or for worse I feel that I am one of you all"

I don't believe for a minute that Louis felt genuine hatred or resentment towards Lestat for this, I just think with everything taken into consideration, he was overwhelmed and everything got to be a bit too much and Louis just couldn't cope with being around Lestat because of it.

I do think that Lestat maybe thought Louis hated him, and perhaps Louis even convinced himself of the same at one point, but I don't think it was really the case.

Despite Lestat having also attempted suicide, and so understanding the situation, his presence isn't wanted by Louis, so he turns to the only other person who he knows can help.

Armand.

Armand has also made an attempt on his life so he also knows what Louis is going through. He also loves him just as much as Lestat does, so he would be more than willing to help take care of him.

Lestat turns to Armand because he knows this and trusts him to care for Louis when he can't do it himself. Lestat's also just woken from his coma, so probably isn't in a great condition to be caring for Louis himself either.

Louis is taken to TG where he resides with Armand for the sake of his recovery, but ultimately ends up staying there even once he's well again. (He loves Armand too, okay. It's probably also a nice change of scenery and a peaceful life.)

So yeah, I could've sworn this was all canon, but I looked to make sure and it's not 😭 I've made myself sad with this but I got an answer to this ask, that's one benefit lmao.

Hi, I've been meaning to tell you this for a while now but I kept getting shy lmao but I wanted to say how funny I found it that in chapter 4 of SJLT, it seems like Deku and Scribbs really hit it off, like multiple times 😂 it seems so in character for him and I can't figure out why? I love that he's characterized like a little pervert throughout the fandom, and not that them going at it multiple times is preverted, it just seems so in line with someone like Deku to be very enthusiastic now that this door to physical intimacy has opened 😂 and he's diving head first!

As opposed to Weeds and Kacchan! Their situations were different because Deku was at the gala and it was a normal Tuesday for Kacchan when he made his move, but I didn't get the impression Kacchan was waking Weeds up in the middle of the night for round 2 😂 I don't know! It somehow matches their character and how they approach physical intimacy maybe? I don't know if any of that was on purpose, but it felt right regardless. Kind of a silly thing to praise but I enjoyed it! Adds more to them and their relationships I think. Loved it! Have a nice day!

omg lmfao hi hi hi, hello. okay okay, i actually have some thoughts about this—like, why so many of us characterise Izuku as uh, more intense than we might do with others LOL, and i think it just boils down to his sincerity! like, it’s so earnest and disarming, right? he goes after the things he wants and believes in with like, very little regard to what he should do—so it’s so so easy to imagine him chasing the physical rush of being with someone in the same way. especially someone he’s been pining for! izuku seems so easily overwhelmed with how he feels, both good and bad—and being intimate with someone is overwhelming! especially if you’ve wanted it for a while. i think his being so ready to throw down and roll down is just another way for him to express that. 🥹

to be fair to Katsuki, he was at Weed’s late on a work night, after a work day, and also had to go back into work early the next morning LMAO. he stole what time he could and made the most of it and then got some goddamn sleep afterwards. 🥹 i do think they’d approach sex and intimacy differently, in very telling ways! like kacchan’s more relaxed, honestly—both in the fics and in canon, in some regards. whereas izuku and scribble’s first time is about being unleashed, kacchan’s and weeds was more… idk! surrendering, lmfao (title drop 🎤). everything is important, when it comes to like—showcasing someone. 🥺 how they brush their teeth (or not), how they come to a pause at a traffic light—how they meet someone else halfway, and come together. i’ve always read izuku as like, unconsciously needing to take as much as he can, once he’s sure it’s his to have. he had to fight for OFA, he had to break himself apart to be granted it—and now he wields it and has made it his own. as far as we know, he is the last holder of it—it’s his to have. compare that to kacchan—kacchan who was born with an incredible power, who got used to being given things—only to then get the shit kicked out of him, come his teenage years, and shown why being given something incredible wasn’t enough to guarantee greatness. i like to think that as an adult that would give kacchan a sureness, in all things—when he’s given something incredible now, he’s not going to take it for granted or some divine right. he’s not going to rush with it. he’s going to take his time and prove he’s worthy. those fundamental ways that they’ve both been challenged and reinvented would inform everything they do—even how they’d touch, or want to touch, someone they love. 🥺🌷

Like yes, if anything, it should be the opposite. but I'm saying that because they knew and they didn't touch that subject whether we're talking about Marvel Studios or people in their universe. So to me that seems like more tension buildup, you know? They barely ever gave us "direct" reference to that matter (I correct, they never gave us), and with a lot of other ships, real people or fictional characters, the actors or the writers just go with it jokingly. Sometimes they even talk about it too much and after that, for me the 'craving for more' stops and I realize or assume that this is definitely just a joke. If it were not, they would never do it. And for Stucky, it's the exact opposite, poor guys can't even talk about it not getting edgy. And I crave that. Because I guess I'm a masochist 😂

And that if any of the movies had jokingly alluded to a romance between Steve and Bucky, it would have actually kind of undermined the ship more effectively than the whole 'straightwashing', no homo thing that Marvel decided to go with instead?

I have to admit, although I believe you, I don't actually recall whether or not a joke like that was ever made in any of the movies. I feel like it must have been, but that might well be because I've only watched the movies a couple of times and I've read so much amazing fic in which that is a given that is has completely replaced canon in my mind 😂

But if you're right, then yes, I fully agree. It's SO obviously present in the Cap movies, this deep love and bond they share, that it would be kind of crazy if no one ever made the 'boyfriend' joke or something to that effect. And if so, the fact that no one did almost has to mean that that was a deliberate choice (because they're cowards and they were afraid of giving people the 'wrong' idea and invite them to ship them (more), even though in reality it might have actually done the opposite, mostly because people were already intensely and very seriously shipping them, lol). Of course, the topic has come up during promo, and the Russos have joked about it too, but the movies themselves were very rigorously no homo'd, that much is true. The closest we got to someone alluding to how it really was was Rumlow's "Your pal, your buddy, your Bucky" line, I think, but that was far from a joke, of course.
