In Delico's Nursery, vampires have this ability called Initiative through their bites. They basically can command you to do anything. From what I understand, only someone stronger can break/overpower that command.

So imagine Lilia Vanrouge, a bat fae, who has this very specific ability that only Maleficia knew about. It was kept a secret from even the senate, so he wouldn't be forced to use his ability for nefarious reasons.

Imagine Lilia with Malleus in his arms, the fae prince on the brink of death after his overblot, Lilia having no choice but to use this initiative on him before help arrives. Biting him, commanding him to live, "Do not fall here Malleus, you must live." That is the only reason Malleus lives. He almost lost Malleus once when he was in his egg; he won't allow that to happen again. Lilia would rather be spurned for this ability than lose Malleus to death. He won’t let him join the stars yet. Not while Lilia lives and breathes.

Imagine Lilia using the initiative on Silver. When Silver is a baby and the sleeping curse starts manifesting. Imagine Lilia, in a moment of weakness, biting Silver. His command? "Do not fall to this curse Silver, never fall to your curse." Imagine that being the reason why Silver hadn't fully fallen into slumber until it finally broke at the end of Book 7 because of his family?

Lilia Vanrouge with this ability, someone who could bring down kingdoms and gain power and status, chose not too. Because those things never mattered to him, only being with those he loves is his greatest treasure.

Just got to season 6 of my btvs rewatch and I just want to say that the sp*ffy sex scenes are so much more rancid and depressing than I remember. People hating on a literal child because she doesn’t physically look like a character in a book who we only ever saw in concept art and fanart vs me who was kinda sad when I realized book Percy wasn’t black because the description of a young boy living in New York who’s close with his single mother parent who is constantly seen as stupid troublemaker by both peers and teachers and his moms awful boyfriend and who’s only friend is the only other Outcast (non white) classmate who’s only ally is the literature teacher who then he finds also has doubts about him felt very if not fully black then at least mixed coded.

But then I moved on and enjoyed the story for what it gave me, can some of these people say the same 🤔

sure sure Rick is really fucked up and should eat glass, cool cool— can we please discuss poor fucking morty for a second?

the way he clung to robo-Rick, literally let go of the ledge to go die with the version of his grandfather who he felt actually loved him— a version only capable because he was forced to love him. programmed to.

the way this kinda reframes solaricks for me in a particularly devastating way. obviously Rick wasn’t a robot at that point, (he was only one for the morty sun ep) but I’m talking more specifically about how this frames morty.

“you’re my grandpa, Rick.” and what a spectacularly shitty grandpa he is. “Rick and morty, a hundred years.” and god, morty truly seems to be keeping his word even to his absolute detriment. and it honestly hurts to watch at this point— the way morty keeps clinging to Rick and trusting him despite the traumatizing shit he pulls as easily as he breathes. from a plot point it almost doesn’t make sense, but when considered with the context of who morty was and who he is now…. who else could morty turn to?? who else could morty be? who else does he have but this abrasive, dependent monster who loiters around as his grandfather??? whether he likes it or not— Rick is the only constant in his life. Rick is the only grandpa he’s ever known— all other family is replaced, recycled, and buried. he’s a terrible consistency that drags morty down far more than ever raise him high, but a consistency nonetheless. I’m not saying that morty couldn’t do/be anything else without Rick— but from mortys perspective???

So I just thought abt this… I only started watching Rick and Morty abt a month ago, and I got to see the release of imo one of the best seasons (fear no mort gave me the Morty content I needed to not immediately cross this season off the list)… and I am so happy that I got to witness the fandom and be apart of it while big things were happening in the show! RnM will definitely be a hyperfixation that will stay a while (*^‿^*)

I sooo can’t wait for Kiseki Dear to me final episode, so that I know it have a happy ending and I can watch it.

I saw like a million short parts of the series on TikTok, YT shorts, Tumblr- and it looks sooo angsty.

Also like the best form of angst, both love each other dearly but are just dumb and stubborn. And the circumstances are never good. But they are still in love and they suffer oh so beautifully.

As long as I can have a happy end- extremely happy end, like married in their own home I don’t have eyes on anyone else you are my soul and we both healthy with no crazy exes and no cars so that there’ll be no car crashes. Best if they come from a very long- lived family line.

But I got off topic.

Give me Kiseki final episode with all its angst right now and nobody get hurt.
