I am humbly providing many many days after you asked!

Jackienat in canon: god I’ve talked about them at length before but there two as individuals are my little sweetie snookums lovebug angels (I love all the yellowjackets but god god god I love them); they are the two girls who I believe are the most invested in the team as a whole. I think they would’ve been amazing co-captains side note (not me suddenly considering writing a short little au something about them being captains together GOD). I think that it’s been said very well by many people, but they are so tethered. They want what’s best for all the girls, they love hard, and they do NOT get that energy in return enough. I don’t really understand why people come to the conclusion that they hated each other. I DEFINITELY don’t get why people come to the conclusion that they hated each other PRE crash, because there’s nothing negative show between them when we DO see other girls be bitchy to Nat and make fun of Jackie’s earnestness, but it’s never these two against each other. Nat is very vocally anti freeze her out, everyone knows innately that Jackie would be without even asking. I’ve spoken about their fight at length before, so without getting too far into that I will just say I think the way it escalates and gets so emotional and personal is very very telling. I don’t think they’ve fought before, Nat is clearly more emotional than when the other girls are cruel to her which I think means she didn’t expect it from Jackie, Nat hits back with a threat/fights back instead of brushing it off like she usually does. I think it’s fucking tragic that they fought and never got to reconcile, because they both are the type to hold guilt and sadness over that shit. Them teaming up at doomcoming against the crazy, the way Jackie would’ve lived if Nat were home for her and Shauna’s fight, the eulogy Nat gives Jackie when she takes her bones to the plane. They are just tragic and beautiful and we’re robbed of the chance to be truly close friends, because I really do think that’s the trajectory they were on.

Jackienat platonically: oh GOD do I love them. I can’t wait to explore their dynamic in we practice resurrection every night. I talked a lot about how I think they’d be close above but I also heavily hc that jackienat and shaunalottie each made out at least one party in high school respectively. They are so special to me. Sweet girls with huge hearts and very curated protective exteriors beloved beloved beloved.

Jackienat romantically: I love it so much. I am a jackieshauna and lottienat at heart (clearly lmao) but I LOVE them as a stop on the way to those endgames. I think they’d be surprisingly soft and sweet as a pairing and I think that they’d be able to help each other through the ummmm tougher times of shauna and lottie’s less than ideal behaviors lol. (I LOVE BOTH SHAUNA AND LOTTIE DEEPLY but they have some very rough tendencies that would be hard as their partner and I think some commitment issues/stumbling blocks to get to a healthy (healthy for yj) relationship status, just objectively lmao). Jackienat is hot and fun and kind and loving and the type of young dyke relationship that leads to really close lifelong friendship no one can ever change my mind on that <3 they should kiss <3

I have some thoughts of Jealous JackieShauna w reader,

Before Dating

- After you’ve hung out with a potential s/o or just a friend that she’s jealous of Jackie will always confront you like a cheating spouse, like getting into petty non arguments “Where were you? Why were you w her you know I don’t like her. No I just want to spend time with you, you’re one of my best friends and they’re stealing you from me.”

- If you even MENTION the person, Shauna gives you the silent treatment, she is secretly SEETHING and you keep trying to engage in conversation but she just gives you nothing or walks away and you’re left wondering what you did to upset her.

- Jackie is absolutely guilty of calling you and faking that there’s an emergency she needs your help with to get you to cancel a date with this person. Which of course you fall for every time.

- Shauna 100% gives this person the dirtiest looks, if looks could kill this poor random would be dead and buried on sight.

After You Start Dating:

- Jackie is not afraid to act first and ask questions later but she will mask it with politeness, if she sees someone getting too close to you during a party or just anything she doesn’t particularly like, she’ll walk right over, throw her arms around you, plant a huge kiss on your lips, then turn to the other person “Oh my god babe, who’s this? Who? Oh I don’t think I’ve ever heard of you before, hmm.” Then she just stands there with you until the other person gets too uncomfortable and leaves. She will be clingy the entire rest of the night.

- Same situation with Shauna and she does not give a shit, She will unabashedly grab your arm, tug you away from the person and move your hand to her waist as you walk away to hit it home. She’ll tell you that you’re leaving though so she can make sure that people will know you’re taken.

-Jackie is the type of gf that if you unknowingly upset her and then drive her home she keeps her knees as far away from your side of the car as possible, do you know what I mean? Like turning her body away from you as much as she can. She’ll be pouty, arms crossed and will not look at you at all.

- Shauna will make a move on you in the car, climbing into your lap and in a way silently seeking validation that you still want her. It’s not that she doesn’t trust you or anything, she just has a couple insecurities and she likes having you show her she’s the one you want/hearing you say it.

- Jackie will no doubt have to try to convince Shauna not to slap the random person talking to you. If you get in trouble with both of them in the same night, you’re basically escorted through the rest of the party by both of them at your side.

Tai Turner is a big Twitter user. she's super into like politics and stuff and gags the hell out of random politicians in the quote tweets. she also retweets all of Van's letterboxd reviews. her Instagram is a bunch of pictures of her, her and van, and the other yjs. she tries to keep her Instagram professional but Van's commenting 🍑🥵 a little too much for that lmaooo. never had a Tumblr. has a tiktok so van can send her stuff.

Mari is big Twitter user. she will use it to stay up in everyone's business and gossip. so many private quote retweets lmao. big Instagram/tiktok user as well. she tried to hard to be an influencer though so it's mostly embarrassing. has a Tumblr that she solely uses to comment insults on Shauna's Tumblr poetry. don't ask her how she found it, Mari knows all.

Lottie Matthews gives me technophobe vibes for some reason. she's def out there like "kids these days 🙄. always on their phones". she'd have a huge following on Twitter though and would predict celebrity deaths/divorces.

Nat Scatorccio had a not like other girls phase where she thought she was too good for social media in middle school. she's embarrassed about it but unfortunately has no idea how to use most of it now. has a Twitter and an Instagram only. she does numbers on Instagram though let me tell you.

Misty Quigley has Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, Tumblr, etc but she only really posts on reddit. She's big in a lot of reddit circles and people like @ her specifically for stuff. I think she'd do numbers on like true crime tiktok though. Mari has a burner account just to comment hate on Misty's tiktok lmao. On everything else she follows like 3k people and is followed back by bots and Jackie.

Laura Lee would have an Instagram that she posted Bible verses and encouraging quotes on. She has a Twitter where she comments "disappointed 😥" whenever someone uses religion to be homophobic. her parents only let her use the internet for an hour a day though so she doesn't post super often.
