It's Okay, Daddy's Here | Rooster x Reader
Summary: Even after your honeymoon is over, you find yourself needing your husband all the time. One Saturday, when Bradley is out with the guys, you have an itch you just can't scratch by yourself. When he comes home and finds you a desperate, horny mess, he assures that "It's okay, Daddy's here."
Warnings: Smut and fluff
Length: 2200 words
Pairing: Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw x Female Reader
This was written to accompany my series Is It Working For You? along with a bunch of my one-shots and other series! (But it can be read on its own) Check my masterlist in my profile for the reading order!
Tumblr media
You couldn't understand what had happened to you since you stopped taking your birth control pills, but you'd been insatiable for the last month and a half. The ten day honeymoon you and Bradley had spent in Hawaii had been pure perfection. And now you'd been enjoying your husband as frequently as you could get your hands on him since returning home.
"What do you mean you're going golfing tomorrow morning?" you asked Bradley as you got undressed for bed on Friday night. You paused, naked with his tee shirt in your hands, and gaped at him. "Roo. That'll be hours. And then the guys will want to go out for drinks," you whined. "You won't be here to fuck me."
He groaned and patted his lap before he reached for you. "Tee time at the country club is Javy's Christmas present to all of us, so I agreed to go." You tossed the shirt aside and climbed up onto the bed to straddle his thighs. "But I can cancel, Baby Girl," he grunted, palming your tits as you leaned in closer to kiss him.
"No," you moaned against his mouth. "I don't want Javy to be mad at me. But you better do me so good right now, Roo. Seriously."
"Don't I always?" he growled, flipping you onto your back and running his fingers down along your belly and over your tattoo. "Don't I always take care of you?"
"I have the best husband," you whispered as his lips connected with your neck. Then his fingers met your clit, and he eased his body weight down on top of you. And it was heavenly. And he fucked you hard into the bed until you came, screeching his name. And then you slept all night long, curled up on his warm chest in a state of satiated bliss.
But as soon as you woke up to a cold, empty bed late Saturday morning, you flopped onto your back and tried to coax yourself back to sleep once more. But you couldn't. The need was almost immediate as you sat up. The bedding smelled like Bradley, and you knew you needed to go into the other room.
After you grabbed your glasses and pulled on his soft UVA shirt, you went to make some coffee. But as it brewed, your mind wandered to how good he looked in his white golf pants and polos. You hoped he was wearing that deep blue floral print shirt that hugged his biceps.
"Good Lord," you gasped, fixing your coffee the way you liked it and walking out onto the back patio with Tramp. But even the chilly December San Diego air couldn't cool you down. Bradley was probably getting all sweaty right now, gripping his nine iron and wearing those soft gloves.
"Jesus," you whined, pacing around and sipping your hot coffee. "Just chill. You made it through work all week without him." But that wasn't exactly true. On Tuesday, you'd fucked him on your lunch break in the backseat of the Bronco in the parking garage. And on Thursday afternoon, he'd come into your office reeking like jet fuel and fucked you up against your file cabinet.
Tramp looked up at you when you let out a noise close to a whimper. You finished your coffee and went back inside to start packing for the Christmas holidays, but as soon as you opened your underwear drawer, you caught sight of all of your wedding lingerie, and you had to leave the room again.
A shower. That would help. But you tried hot water and then cold water, and you just ended up with your back pressed against the tile wall, stroking our fingers over your clit. You must be ovulating. That would explain a lot right now. But as you tried to get yourself off, you kept coming up short.
"No," you whined, dipping your fingers into your own slick before bringing them back up to your clit. When you managed to get the tiniest bit of relief, you finished up in the shower and went to get dressed.
But you ended up pulling out your vibrators only to glare at them, because they did not look as appealing as Bradley did. "Fuck," you grumbled, tossing them back where they belonged and kicking your drawer closed.
How much longer could golf possibly take? You'd be fine until you could get the real thing. You could wait.
-----------------------------
Bradley rushed through the eighteenth hole, hoping to get back home to you faster, but the guys weren't having it.
"Let's hit up the bar," Hangman drawled. "Drinks are on me."
Bradley opened his mouth to protest, but Jake cut him off and said, "And don't even try to use your wife as an excuse, Bradshaw. You and Angel can go a few hours without your hands all over each other. The honeymoon is over."
But it wasn't. It really wasn't. Bradley wanted his hands and mouth on you at the moment so badly, he hoped the honeymoon would never end.
"Fine," he grumbled. "One drink." But one turned into two, and the jukebox at the Hard Deck was playing Christmas music, and Penny got him to dance with her before he was able to sneak out. He had been gone most of the day.
As he walked back to the Bronco late in the afternoon sunlight, he texted you and let you know he was finally on his way home. Your response was almost instantaneous.
Baby Girl Bradshaw: Hurry
"Damn," he muttered, starting up the engine and rushing home to get to you. He thought maybe you'd be waiting for him in bed, wearing that little red lingerie set he liked so much, but what he discovered was even better.
"Holy shit," he muttered as soon as he walked inside the front door. His golf bag clattered to the floor as you turned your head to look over your shoulder at him.
"Roo," you moaned, and it was the neediest, most beautiful thing he had ever heard in his life. And before he knew it, he was palming himself through his white golf pants at the sight of you naked, straddling the arm of the living room couch. Your back was to him as you rubbed your bare pussy up and down the arm, back arched and whining softly.
He stumbled closer to you, his eyes glued to your ass as you moved in the most appealing way. You were leaving glistening streaks of your slick along the upholstery, and it was so fucking hot.
"What's going on, Baby Girl?" he managed to ask as you looked back at him again.
"I can't help it," you gasped, your voice bordering on pitiful as you sucked in a deep breath. "I'm so fucking horny, Bradley. I've tried masturbating all day, but nothing feels as good as you do."
"Oh, Sweetheart," he rasped, unzipping his pants and getting himself ready. "You should have called me."
"Please! I need you. Make it go away."
You were almost in tears now as Bradley put his hands on your hips, helping you rock your soaking wet pussy against the couch. "Shh. Daddy's home now. It's okay, Daddy's here." He stood behind you and kissed your bare shoulder, letting his fingers skim up your belly to stroke the undersides of your breasts.
"Oh! Your fingers feel so good," you groaned, planting your hands on the back of the couch and rocking your hips a little faster.
"How did you get like this, Baby Girl?" he whispered next to your ear, pressing the front of his body to your back as you rocked your pussy along, trying to find some satisfaction. "You're like a dog in heat," he groaned, squeezing your nipples.
"I know," you keened, head tossed back to give him access to your neck. "I'm ovulating."
"Oh, hell," he grunted. That was music to Bradley's ears as you bumped his hard cock with your ass every time you rolled your hips. "You need me to fuck you?" he asked softly, licking a stripe up your neck. "You need my cum?"
"Please, Daddy," you begged softly, but he could hear the desperation there. "Fuck me."
Bradley eased away from you and lifted you up a bit by your hips as you whined. "Aww, Sweetheart," he said, stroking his fingers along your ass down to your soaking wet pussy while he admired the wet spot on the couch. "You need me."
You looked back at him and nodded as he palmed your ass up in the air. "I need you, Daddy," you said, your voice breaking with tears in your eyes.
Bradley stroked your soft skin and asked, "Do you know how bad I want you knocked up?"
You nodded again, practically on the verge of tears. "I know it."
Bradley set you down gently on the arm once more, tipping you forward slightly so your clit was rubbing against the wet spot you made. Then he grabbed his cock as you wiggled your ass at him, just begging to have him fill you up.
"I got you," he promised, rubbing himself through your wetness. "I'll take care of everything."
With one steady thrust, he filled you and bottomed out. A sound of relief escaped you as you moaned, "Daddy." Bradley pulled you snug to him by your hips, and with each fluid thrust, he helped you rock your clit against the couch.
Bradley kept you going at a steady pace, fucking you nice and slow as he guided you along, praising you for being the perfect wife. "You always look so good for me. With your pretty pussy and that ass on display. You know how much I like coming home to find you ready for me?"
"Tell me," you whispered, starting to clench around him.
He kissed along your neck as you jerked yourself along a little faster. "I love it when you're waiting for me to fill you up. I love how needy you are."
Bradley knew you were close now, so he let you ride the arm of the couch and bump back along his length while he held himself still for you. And then you were cumming, shaking against his body, reaching back for his hands as you clenched around his cock and sobbed softly.
"You feel better?" he asked, still fucking you slow and steady. You were like a feral animal that only he was able to tame.
"So much better," you whispered, turning and licking his bicep. "You're all sweaty, Roo. You smell so good."
"Damn it," Bradley grunted. Now he was starting to feel slightly unhinged over you. His wife needed him so badly around the clock right now. He expected that your body would start to adjust to being off birth control, and this extreme need for him would start to ease up. But for now, he didn't mind one bit. And he wanted to keep you filled up with his cum until it took.
He slammed into you a little harder as you gazed lovingly at him over your shoulder. "You can do it, Daddy." He reached for your chin, grabbing you and kissing you a little rough.
"Oh, fuck." Then he was filling you before he collapsed against your back. Bradley ran his hands along your pristine skin, paying extra attention to your tits as he caught his breath. "I can't believe I found you riding the couch like this."
"Nothing would even take the edge off, Bradley. Just you."
He squeezed your tits and ran his nose behind your ear. "I love you. Next time, you call me. I drop everything for you whenever I can. You understand me?"
"Yes." Your voice was soft and calm now, and he could tell you were feeling much better.
"That's my girl." When he withdrew from your pussy, and his cum leaked out onto the arm of the couch, Bradley whispered, "Don't move."
He dug his phone out of his pocket and took some photos of you turning to look at him with a sweet, fucked out expression on your face and a messy pussy. He knew those images would keep him warm when he was deployed. Then he helped you stand right in front of him, and both of you admired the soiled arm of the couch together.
"Beautiful," Bradley murmured next to your ear, stroking his fingers along your belly and wishing.
He watched you run your finger through the mess before licking it and turning to kiss him. You traced his lips with your tongue and he tasted himself before you said, "I'll clean up the couch."
"No, you're going to go get in bed like a good girl. And after I clean up out here, I'll be ready to take the edge off for you again. Okay?"
You threw your arms around his neck and hugged him, and then he watched your ass as you headed to bed to wait for him to take care of you again.

Weird SGA pictures I’ve found in my travels today
And what I think of them
Tumblr media
This looks like a dad who has woken up on a Saturday morning and is now sitting across from a very hungover teenager who was out last night ‘playing video games’ at a friend’s house and now dad’s not sure how to approach the topic (he’s considering calling mom in for this one) 8/10
Tumblr media
These are brothers who got gifted matching outfits by grandma and a PlayStation 3 for Christmas and mum just made them pose for a picture after they were just in the rec room hearing slurs they never knew existed in the COD lobby. They are shaken however will not elaborate on why for fear of losing the PlayStation hours after receiving it. 9/10
Tumblr media
Sheppard gets Weekend At Bernie’s’d following the success of the Groundhog Day episode of SG-1. The writers are nothing if not original. 11/10
Tumblr media
The LinkedIn picture for the Old Money guy you met in your first year economics class whose dad bribed admissions to get his son into Yale who took 7 years to get a bachelor’s degree in finance. He has a high up position in his dad’s oil company that’s been in the family for generations. Deeply invested in crypto, says he knows how to invest but actually has his money controlled by his dad’s accountants. Thinks milk costs like 2 dollars or something. Thinks poor people should just get jobs because “he didn’t have it easy either”. 2/10 this picture gives my psychic damage.
Tumblr media
John Sheppard, pictured here posing for a glamour shot for his bisexual barista she/they partner who is trying to improve her portfolio now that she’s feeling like she wants to get back into photography. John is very supportive and loves them very much. 11/10
Tumblr media
This weirdly airbrushed promo for what I can only imagine is a bizarre early 2000s reality show that only got one season in which one ruggedly handsome bisexual man goes on an expedition to the middle of nowhere and gets 50,000$ for every person he doesn’t fuck. He goes home with 0$ in prize money. 10/10
Tumblr media
A person who got randomly inspired to clean their room at 1am on the floor at 4am surrounded by clean clothes trying to comprehend a YouTube tutorial for the optimal way to fold shirts so they can all fit in the dresser. 6/10
Tumblr media
Dad whose son mentioned having an interest in learning how to golf excited to explain the practical use of a 9 iron in the middle of finding out that his son meant he had an interest in Mario Golf of the Nintendo Switch. 10/10

Lying in bed this morning, working on a bit in the novel about defining "shoulder season" for the reader, I realized what my personal aesthetic is currently: Tourist Gothic.
Tourist Gothic as a fashion statement is based on the following precepts.
1. Comfort. Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing is rarely glamorous, but I'm not here to win Drag Race. I'm on vacation and wearing what best combines 'I like how I look in this so you don't have to' with 'I can wander around a strange place for hours.' If everyone you meet is someone you'll never see again, their opinion of you is irrelevant.
2. Loudness. My traveling companions need to be able to spot me easily. A bright floral print or a weird hat is just the thing. (Protip if you like me are prone to wandering away from the group, a really weird hat is the best way to make sure they can find you. I have a newsboy cap with wings sewn onto it for just such a purpose.)
3. Delight. Where else but on vacation can I wear my Costco Hot Dog t-shirt? On vacation it's appropriate whether I'm at a sausage sizzle, a football match, or an art museum.
4. Utility. If I have to, I can wash my entire wardrobe in a hotel room sink. The socks can be soaked and frozen in a plastic bag to use as an ice pack. Everything has pockets and nothing hurts.
5. Sincerity. Nothing a tourist wears is worn ironically. Commitment to the bit must be total.
The central precept of the look is that one is too concerned with both comfort and adventure to conform to dress code. I don't want to blend in, I want you to take me to the best local cuisine you have and overcharge me for it. I am here to admire your architecture and support your economy. Now just apply all that to everyday life, and boom. Tourist Gothic.
If you're wondering how this differs from everyday Dad Wear, your average Tourist Goth has slightly higher emotional investment in sandals and sunscreen and a lower commitment to belts overall.
Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk, so glad to see so many of you are wearing golf shorts.

Sunsets and footballers (Part 92)
Lucy Bronze x Reader (69) & Jordan Nobbs x Leah Williamson (24)
Masterlist (other parts here)
((3k))
JORDAN POV
“What are you smiling at?” Leah asked from beside her, placing her hand on her thigh as she drove.
“Can I not just be happy?”
“Of course, but I know your looks. There’s something else there. Don’t you go hidin’ it from me now.”
Jordan smirked, her head resting against the headrest of her seat as she stared at Leah. She was wearing grey joggers, white sneakers, a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and a cap, her face still lit up and happy from their morning of golfing. The corners of her eyes were crinkled. She never liked it, the signs of her ageing, however it was one of the things Jordan loved most in the world.
Leah looked at her. “Jord?”
“I was thinking that not long ago I was on a beach, alone and feeling hopeless.” She saw Leah’s expression fall and held her arm with both of her own, leaning in slightly to kiss her shoulder. “And now I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. Everything I was upset about is a thing of the past. I have a new friend who I wouldn’t trade for the world. I’m getting game time and making friends within the group. And I have you…” Leah’s face softened. Although they’d spent the morning doing something Leah had loved – it was the perfect day for Jordan also as she got to spend it with her. She murmured her next words softly. “I want to grow old with you, Lea.”
She waited for a reaction for what seemed like an eternity.
Leah pulled up somewhere and stopped the car, putting it in park and turning off the engine. When she turned to her, Jordan could see her tears forming and threatening to spill over.
“Oh Christ, you’ve done it to me.” She accused, wiping at her eyes. Jordan chuckled and gave her the time she needed.
“You want to grow old with me?” Leah asked, holding eye contact. It was ironic as she was the younger of the pair.
“I do.” Jordan brought Leah’s hand to her cheek and nodded against it. “Do you?”
Leah rolled her eyes. “Of course I do, silly girl. It’s all I’ve ever wanted.”
Jordan leant over and tasted the salty tears on Leah’s lips as she kissed her. It felt like home. Leah’s hand pressed against her chest; over her heart which calmed the nerves. Just like she knew it would. No one knew Jordan like Leah did.
She savoured the taste of her until Leah pulled back gently, her thumb stroking over her chest.
“We need to talk about what’s going to happen though, Jord.” She murmured lowly against her lips.
Jordan nodded against her and whispered a response that was almost a croak. “I know.”
She pulled back and any nerves she had for the conversation were immediately calmed by looking at Leah alone. She was calm, collected, and looking like she was in it, regardless of what obstacles they had to overcome.
“Arsen-” she started.
“No.” Jordan cut off, shaking her head. “No. My Arsenal days are over. I’ve made my peace with it. I’m getting game time with Villa, and I don’t have long enough left to be on the bench half the time, which we both know Jonas will do with me. You all have too many quality players.”
Leah pondered her words for a minute, looking like she was going to argue, and then eventually coming to terms with it and nodding. “Okay, Jord. Are you happy with Villa?”
“I am now..”
“And you’re enjoying Birmingham?”
She knew where this was going. “I know it’s not ideal, being so far from London, but hey, it’s only a few hours. We can do that… right?”
Leah didn’t hesitate. “A few years apart is nothing. I’m not losing you again. But… I was thinking I could join Villa…”
Jordan felt her eyes widen as she thought about it for a split second before shaking her head. “No. Absolutely not. Arsenal is your home. I’ve never met a bigger Gooner in my life. I want to see you retire there.”
Leah opened her mouth to speak again, though Jordan beat her there. “There’re no arguments here, Lea. If you can do the distance while I finish my career out at Villa, then we stay where we are. And anytime there are international camps, I’ll come to you. We’ll spend out weekends together. Any spare chances we get.”
“You may be at the camps too..”
Jordan gave her a look. “I’m p…past my time.” She stuttered out with emotion and caught herself with a deep breath. “Sarina won’t call me up again. I’ve made my peace with that too. I’ve had a few conversations with Luce and YFN about it… but I will be there for you. I’ll be at all of your games in England kit.”
Leah’s face softened at first at that comment, and then slowly, Jordan could see that crease forming between her eyebrows. She reached out and smoothed it over. “It’s okay, Lea. It really is. I promise.”
Her hand found her cheek and Leah leant into it. “Are you sure?” She muttered.
“I just want you.”
“You have me.” She admitted with an exaggerated sigh. “God, you’ve always had me, Jordan.”
Jordan’s heart skipped a beat.
“I just want you to be happy.”
“This will make me happy. Me at Villa, you at Arsenal. Us together. We’ll make it work.”
“You won’t get lonely out there?”
“I have Blu, and YFN will be moving back in while she gets better. And I’ll have you whenever you’re free.”
“I’ll be with you every chance I get, but I do have a lot of commitments.” She admitted. “I have events. Charity work. Interviews. A lot of expectations… and I know you don’t like coming to events-”
“-I’ll come.”
Leah almost startled. “What? You’ve never come to an event with me before…”
“We weren’t ever public. We are now.”
“Are you sure?”
“It’s part of your life, and I want to be there for it. Plus it means more time together and excuses to dress up..”
Leah grinned. Actually grinned. “So you’ll leave clothes in London?”
“At your house?”
“At our house.” She corrected.
Jordan’s lips twitched as she hid a smile. “Yes. And you’ll keep some at our Birmingham place?”
“Well, it makes sense to, of course.”
Jordan beamed lightly, trying to calm her excited heart. “It’s agreed. Now let’s get home so I can listen to you singing your horrendous country music from the shower while I make us some ham sandwiches for lunch.”
Leah chuckled and it was such a carefree sound. As if all the worries she had, were just expelled with their conversation. She reached out to stroke Jordan’s cheek before gesturing outside to the garage. “We’re already home.”
Jordan’s mouth dropped open slightly before she caught it.
“What about… other parts of our future?”
“What do you mean?” Jordan asked. “You mean our careers afterwards?”
“Well yeah, along with the other important things we never talked about before. Like marriage and kids.”
“It’s best to talk about it all now…” Jordan acknowledged. “What are your thoughts on kids?”
Jordan knew Leah wanted kids, but with her endometriosis, it made it difficult. It would always be Jordan who would need to carry them.
“You know what I want,” Leah sighed. “I want them. Even if we adopt.”
“I’ll carry them…” Jordan offered. They’d never spoken about it like this before, and she’d never offered, but now was the right time. They were all in. Honesty and compromise was necessary for their future together. “Just give me another two years of football. I want to see if I can make the Euros in 2025. If not, then I’ll retire.”
Leah was shocked. She turned in her seat. “Jordan, I can’t ask you to do that.”
“You’re not asking,” she reassured. “I’m offering. I want this, Leah. I want us. A future with you. I have to be realistic. And the reality is that I will be lucky to be starting in two years. My best football is behind me. Time is not on my side.”
“There are other options… surrogacy, adoption, freezing eggs…”
Jordan reached over and touched that worried crease again between her eyebrows and felt it deepen under her finger as Leah’s thoughts and worry ran more rampant. “This is what I want. I promise.”
Leah took some time to accept that. She reached out and laid her hand on Jordan’s lower tummy, eventually allowing herself a little smile.
“A little Nobbs.”
“A little Williamson.”
“You’d take my name? And carry our kids?”
“There’s nothing I want more than two little Williamson’s running around, causing and then solving chaos. Telling everyone what’s right and wrong.”
Leah chuckled. “Fair.” She tilted her head. “Three.”
Jordan shook her head. “Two. Better for travelling.”
“Hm. Okay. Two. But the first jersey we’re buying them is a Nobbs England kit.”
Jordan didn’t think she’d ever felt so happy in her life. These were the conversations they’d avoided previously. Only now did she realise it was because they weren’t ready for them then. They were now. They were all in it, now. And she knew that Leah would drop everything if Jordan wanted that. But she didn’t.
Jordan had reached the point in her life where she wanted to finish her career and go out on her own terms. She was already thinking about the future. She hoped she’d be lucky enough to bring their kids to Leah’s games if she were still playing. To be fair, Leah was the type of person who would play well into her mid to late 30s. She was the leader the team needed. She thrived on the pitch, and off it.
The only thing that had made her feel uneasy was the thought of finding a job after it, when the entirety of her life had been as a football player. It was a career with such a short life-span, though her first thought was YFN and the conversations they’d had about what she’d do after she retired. Jordan wasn’t the interviewing type, though knowing YFN, she’d find the perfect job for her.
Jordan’s thoughts were interrupted by Leah reaching out to cup her cheek and stroke it with her thumb.
“I have two more conditions.”
Jordan raised her eyebrow. It was cheeky given all that she’d offered from her side already.
“Go on, then.”
“I know we had the kiss at the game on Friday… but I want us to make it official on social media.” She requested. “Only if you’re comfortable with it, of course. I don’t want us to be dancing around the media. Let’s tell everyone on our own terms.”
This was a slight surprise as previously; it had been Leah to ask that they didn’t make it official. To be fair, they’d grown a lot in a year, and she completely understood Leah’s want to keep her private life private given just how famous she was.
“Okay, Lea. But… only after tonight. When the situation with Mark is sorted out.”
Leah nodded. “Agreed.”
“And the second condition?”
Leah paused, her eyes flicking between Jordan’s as if searching for something. Whatever it was, she seemed to find it.
Marry me, Jordan.”
YFN POV
YFN was looking down at the colourful keychain in her hand, fiddling with it to stop her hands from trembling. The yellow key was for Lucy’s Spanish apartment. The blue for her place in Manchester. The red for her… for their place in London. The black fob for Miles. She bit her lip.
“Hey, love,” Lucy eased, reaching out to touch one of her dimples as they pulled up to a red light. “Your dimples are working overtime. What’s wrong..?”
She closed her eyes, allowing herself to lean into Lucy’s hand. “I’m just a little nervous, Luce.”
“About Mark?”
She nodded, kissing her palm and lowering it to tangle their fingers as Lucy began to drive again.
“It’ll all be sorted tonight.”
“I’m not so sure. He’s not one to back down so easily. It’s his child…”
Lucy was silent, though YFN could see her jaw twitch slightly, betraying the feeling inside her. It made them all uncomfortable.
“I did some research on them…” she murmured, her grip tightening on Lucy’s hand. She stroked patterns into the back of it absentmindedly with her sling hand as it hung there. Lucy loved being touched by her and she knew it would ease her. Especially with the topic of conversation. “They were beautiful. Young. Talented. They loved reading fantasy and fiction. They adored female footballers. They used to write in their school newspaper, and loved JK more than anything…” She paused and took a deep breath. “Callie wrote this article about when they came out to Mark on the roof of their house. They were always the tomboy in the family. The one their dad wanted to be a boy. One day they were up fixing the tiles on the roof together when Callie told him…”
Although she didn’t say anything, she knew Lucy was listening intently. “…they were worried he’d react badly or perhaps even push them from the roof. He didn’t. He sat with them on the roof and offered them a beer. They watched the sunset in silence until he said, ‘You’ll always be the best part of me.’ He offered to pay for all of their surgery. Callie said in the article that it was the best day of their life.”
Lucy cleared her throat but didn’t say anything. YFN continued. “They titled it: ‘The sunset that changed my life.’ It was a beautifully written article. I wish I had a talent like them at that age. After that, Callie’s story spread throughout high school like you would expect, though worse. They were bullied. Dragged into classrooms and beaten. Mark tried to stop it when he realised. They survived by burying their head into football… and books. Fantasy. Anything creative and world-building. Just wanting an escape…”
“And then the comments…” Lucy muttered.
“And then the comments,” she whispered, wondering if Joanne knew the harm she’d done. “That was the final straw.”
Lucy pulled into a carpark and stopped. “Little one?”
“Luce?”
She turned to her with a serious, caring look on her face. “I’m going to be a good parent, aren’t I?”
Her heart melted. How could she even think that she wouldn’t? “You asking that question proves that you will be, Luce.” She raised her hand to kiss it. “You’re going to be such a good mum, that I find myself daydreaming about it whenever I see you with Alzira and Freddie. And your fans, Luce. You’re going to make such a good parent, I promise. And regardless, we’re in this together.”
“I want them to have more opportunities than I did.” She admitted with that strong, Northumberland accent of hers.
“We’ll give them the world, and make sure they know how lucky they are. Let’s start by giving Mark the closure he needs for Callie.”
Lucy smiled and nodded, satisfied.
She put the car into drive and drove into the closest drive-thru. “Hungry already?”
She gave an offended look. “I was getting you a hot chocolate to calm your nerves…”
When YFN heard her order a hot chocolate, a coffee and some snacks, she rolled her eyes at the lie and received a cheeky Lucy grin in return.
They arrived at the airport around 6pm, boarding slightly earlier than the Lionesses, though they were on separate flights. They parked up Miles in a designated bay, and once their luggage was collected, they were driven to the aircraft. It was a small, private plane, something she’d been in before with Ridley. Though Riddles had nothing to do with this one.
This was all Catherine.
Lucy carried her up the stairs and placed her down gently at the top. They greeted the pilots and crew, before seeing that Leah and Jordan were already onboard and ready to go.
They greeted them and sat down near each other, strapping in. Lucy laid out her snacks on the table, and YFN her laptop. Every second closer to their meeting, she became more nervous.
She felt Lucy’s hand take hold of her thigh formly and realised she was bouncing her leg. It automatically stopped at the feeling of Lucy there. She took a deep breath and calmed herself, taking a sip of her hot chocolate.
It was then that she remembered exactly what he’d done to Leah and Dory. They had much more reason to be nervous than she did.
With a gentle smile, she looked over to her friends opposite them who both seemed more excited than nervous. They kept staring at each other and catching themselves, smiling like idiots. YFN tilted her head, pondering over it. It was too obvious to miss… or so she thought. She looked over at Lucy who was very unaware, instead fully focussed on the food she was munching away on, seemably happy with her choices.
She turned back to Dory as she looked at Leah, blushed, and looked away, directly at YFN who caught her. She felt her mouth drop open. Dory’s eyes widened as she realised she knew.
“Something you care to share with the group?”
Lucy stopped mid-chew and looked at the pair. She was terrible at social cues, and YFN had always wondered whether it was the ADHD or if she simply wasn’t interested.
Suddenly, she was choking.
“Luce, are you okay? What is it?”
She kept choking, her face going slightly red as she pointed to Dory’s hand. And the giant fucking rock on it.

Part 3: The Death, Rebirth, and Afterlife of Parasite Alice
The Riverside Clinic for Wellness and Long-term Care weathered safely the storms of the burn just as all the worst memories navigate the mindscape unimpeded. The venerable history of the red brick and white trimmed building carried it through the poor and homeless left in squalor to the airy chill of lobotomy and electroshock therapy, two wings wide and three floors tall. Its height well serviced its intent, too short for escape even via a yearning leap from the roof to its concrete driveway.
The persistance of such single-minded enclosure of the divergent mind carried forward to the interior, with mutiply sectioned floors along each wing navigable only through a network of stairwells. A more modern elevator spired through the center of the building, lever operated and gated by iron on all sides. None of the layers of white tile or muted gray carpet or soothing art prints or geometic wall paintings over the years could fully excise the prison lovingly built into the architecture. Inside, it promised no escape. Outside its dignified facade offered warm reassurance that aging loved ones to difficult children and everyone in between would be safely forgotten.
Some part of Alice understood all this as the square black truck complained about stopping at the brick stairs with their awkwardly late addition of a wheel chair accessible ramp, leading to wide white doors set with large windows blocked by gauzy white curtains. The driver helped her out of the car and she said, "I can do it just fine!" before almost falling as her legs wobbled. She didn't like strangers touching her, but now everyone was a stranger and she leaned on a stranger just for the simple task of reaching the door of the building where she will die of cancer.
The doors swung inward to reveal an average man with a surfeit of dignity to his gray peppered mustache and deep, dark eyes beneath a noble high forehead and a gently swept back head of mostly gray hair. His thick belly preceded his wide shoulders into any room, and his hands were noticeably large with thick fingers, moving quickly and nimbly to pull a wheelchair onto the small porch. He wore checked trousers, a pale yellow golf shirt, and his arms were exceptionally hairy.
"So good to meet you," he let one hand overtake his stomach to greet Alice, which she disregarded. "My name is Dr Hopewell, and I'm the administrator here at Riverside. I've heard quite a bit about you, and I wanted to make you comfortable right away. You're quite the special guest!" He smiled away the dignity of his profile.
"I don't need a wheelchair," she said. The driver shrugged and let her go, forcing her to grab to armrests to keep standing. "I'm just tired." She gave daggers out of her eyes to both men before maneuvering herself into the seat. "Don't get used to this."
The driver passed a clipboard over her head. "You gotta sign for the delivery, also initial there... and there. Sign and date there too. Okay, nice knowing you."
Dr. Hopewell was already turning her and rolling her into the building before the driver started the truck. "Don't worry Alice, we'll make sure you have the best of care here. You're a celebrity after all, but there may be a few bumps ahead!" They wheeled past a heavy wood door and a much larger orderly took over, pushing her down the hall then bumping up a flight of stairs.
"We specialize these days in unique individuals like yourself. I understand you won't persue treatment?" She folded her arms and rolled her eyes. "Well, if you change your mind, we can be ready to start immediately." The chair and orderly bumped back down stairs into another long hallway. "But here is your room, and we've put you with someone you should get along with. She's very unique."
The room was small, two beds with a curtain divider, wall mounted TV sets, a closet bathroom, one tall window and a few small sets of sad artificial wood drawers.
Another woman sat in a rolling tube frame chair in the far corner of the room. She was big and soft and still in pajamas, her belly stuck out a bit from under the top, and her sloping shoulders seemed to be a permanent fixture of her slouch while the sweeping curve of her neck to her chin echoed in her faint jawline. Her nose was long and straight and Alice thought it was very fine with her dark black eyes looking a thousand miles away and her arrow straight glossy black hair hanging behind the chair. Alice wondered what it would be like to hold her hand. Would she squeeze hard or gently? Interlaced or fingers to thumb.
She about the woman's hands and lips and eyes enought, it took her longer than it should have to realize the other woman was also shimmering with the golden glow of the burn.

Emptyhalf please what's the plan to make people stop using "Nortrell" it's so hideous 😭😭😭😭
had this one in the inbox for months bc idk man. idk. mando is right there and it's so soft and pleasant and sounds like all the comfort of your best friend forever and not at all like gargling a phlegmy rock and yet people insist on using nortrell. at this point the hope of stopping them is in the same state as lando's alleged title bid.
they've been being sooooooo mando these past few weeks tho. i guess bc lando has needed max and max has always been there for him when he needs that, especially now when the balance being that way round is relatively rare. lando needs home and comfort and max is that, they never moved out of being besties.
like when they lived together we all used to talk about lando's pathological need to look after max and make sure he was dressed in his clothes and sheltered in his house and eating food lando had made for him and wearing shirts he'd ironed for him etc. and now it's lando who's a mess but max's urge to look after him is just as strong. keeping him company even when he's trying to shove it away, making sure he's got his spaghetti bolognese even if max has to play 78 rounds of golf or tarkov to convince him.
when they lived together it seemed like lando was the only person max could accept help from, after everything went to shit for him. couldn't take it from his concerned parents because he thought he'd disappointed them, didn't want to from his other friends but lando was alright somehow because he was asking max to keep him company, too. giving him a little job, even if it was being lando's desperate houseboy for like 5 months.
now it's like lando has the same thing in reverse. he obviously has loads of people around him, he has a trainer and a manager and a team and a sports psychologist and another psychologist and he can't take any comfort from them for whatever reason. probably the same thing, that he feels like he's let down everything they've helped him with which obviously he hasn't but you know how brains are. but he can handle it from max, because technically he's helping max get twitch views.
ah fuck i've made myself weep while i'm meant to be packing

Under star-lit skies - Moon/Sun x reader part 1
Okay so I started writing this cuz my obsession for Sun and Moon came back since I keep getting posts and fanart of them so here is the first part of the fanfic you can read it on Ao3 linked in my bio :3c
Tumblr media
it was one of those days, one where you and your class had to go to a stupid location outside of town. You weren’t eager about it since you preferred being closed in the confinement of your dorm room, but an outing was necessary even for you. You got up from your bed unwillingly and started getting dressed, some sweatpants a t-shirt and a hoodie on top, was pretty easygoing and comfortable for a day out.
you weren’t sure where you were going until it came into focus, the Freddy Fazbear Pizzaplex for some reason you weren’t going to question it since your school did choose some random places all the time, not caring if it’s educational or not, but you guessed it was because of the way the pizzaplex was built, could be really interesting or maybe how the animatronics worked. You all went into the pizzaplex being greeted by some basic-looking bots holding maps
“Take a map, take a map,,
you take one and look the other way a little creeped out, you hope those poor things weren’t sentient like the bigger ones otherwise this would’ve been fucked up. The tour starts then, going around the entire pizzaplex from Gator golf to Roxy raceway, it was pleasant meeting the big animatronics in charge of entertainment. Roxy, in charge of Roxy Raceway, was a wolf animatronic with long grey hair and a puff of green in the front, while Gator Golf was attended by Monty, an alligator-like animatronic with icon star-shaped sunglasses, he was pretty cool. Then you arrived at the star of the gang Freddy Fazbear himself, he was a nice bear animatronic with a little top hat on his head and an iconic earring on his left ear. He waved at everyone with a happy smile on his face, you waved back catching his attention, noticing you he winked at you also doing finger guns, you smiled and blushed a little bit at that (blushing over an animatronic? Are you okay??)
You then arrived at your last stop, the Superstar Daycare. It was a place full of kids, also full of toys and arts&crafts stuff (of course like the name said it was a daycare) but something caught your eye, the animatronic that was attending the children, it was a jester-like robot with a sun for a head that could spin around when it wanted to
“Hello everyone! I am Sun! the daycare attendant I hope you guys had a lovely tour so far!,,
he says lively his rays on his head spinning around happily, Sun huh? (ironic isn’t it) You were fascinated by him, he was really, pretty? I guess you could call him pretty.
When you got back to your dorm you picked up your laptop right away and started doing research on Fazbear Entertainment, finding a lot of weird stuff about some lawsuits and shit like that, you didn’t care you went on to look if the pizzaplex out of town was looking for a job, you really needed one and that was a big place so maybe they did need some human personal, you were also hoping you’d get to work near or in the daycare, you wanted to know more about Sun. Thinking about that you looked up the Superstar Daycare for some more information and found yet another lawsuit about the daycare this time, you read through it.
“my son was traumatised by your stupid daycare attendant and can’t sleep with the lights off anymore, whatever that thing did to him. You should decommission it right away it is not safe for children,,
you scrunch up your nose at that, because there is no way this person was talking about Sun seemed like a nice guy! So you did more research finding out the animatronic they were talking about was not Sun, but an animatronic called Moon, he was the nap time attendant and apparently, they were two separate animatronics, which intrigued you even more.
Doing even more research you find out they were actually looking to hire someone, it didn't say in which position but you weren't one to complain about stuff like that so you wrote an email and sent it, you weren't expecting a reply right away so you decided to go to bed.
It was dark, and something was bothering you but you couldn't put your finger on it, you found yourself in a jungle gym of some sort crumbled up like a pretzel, you started moving in front of you or what you thought was in front of you, while moving you could hear some sort of music, like a soft melody getting closer and closer until it stopped, you stopped as well, looking around now trying to understand where you were.
clang.
clang.
clang.
BOOM.
You wake up in your bed full of sweat and your heart beating super fast, you get your phone from your nightstand only to see it is 2 am, you definitely can't sleep after this weird ass nightmare you just add so you decide to start scrolling through social media. Before you get the chance to do that tho you get a notification from your emails, saying that Fazbear Entertainment sent a reply to your email, accepting your application!
You get up to do a little victory dance happy for it to begin.
tomorrow is another day.
Tumblr media
this is how they will look in the fanfic since they are separate animatronics here the one in the middle is my persona ignore them I insert myself in every fandom I go in lol!!

amazing race au pleaseeeeee (i live for andreil being chaotic trailblazers)
"It's a Detour!" Phil Keoghan's voice cuts in over the visuals. "Teams must pick one of two Detour options. First is Iron Stomach where the team must work together to first prepare a traditional Kalua pig." Phil Keoghan says over the image of an earthen oven with Kiawe wood, and hot lava rocks, a pig having some of the white hot volcanic rock put inside, the fire being covered by banana stumps, and then the pig being placed on top of those banana stumps before being covered by banana leaf, having some water sprayed onto it and then a sheet placed over it all before it was buried in the dirt. "Next they will head to a different earthen oven to uncover a pig that has been roasting in the traditional way and take it over to the chefs who will then shred the Kalua Pork. Teams will then have to clean their entire plate before they are given their clue." Phil explains the challenge.
"The other option is Iron Man." Phil Keoghan continues as the camera cuts to crystal clear water, 7 bicycles, and finally a beautiful running track. "The 1st Iron Man event was held in 1978 in Honolulu Hawaii before it moved here to the Big Island in 1981. We won't be asking contestants to swim 2.4 miles, bike 122 miles, and then run a 26.2 mile marathon but we will be asking one member from each team that chooses this to swim at least half a mile, bike for 2 miles and run for 1." Phil Keoghan explains. "Their partner will be driven to the finish line where they will need to wait for their partner to finish to receive their clue."
"Contestants can start on the Iron Man Challenge immediately as the start of the swimming portion is right behind me while contestants who choose Iron Stomach will need to make their way to the cooking location 3 miles from the clue box." Phil finishes as the camera cuts to Neil and Andrew.
Neil's eyes widen, "Andrew, can-"
"Give me your bag." Andrew sighs as Neil smiles brightly before handing him his bag and then his shirt before running straight into the water. "He acts like he hasn't run once this entire race." Andrew sighs as he climbs onto the golf cart. "You should hurry, he might beat us there." he says sinking back into the seat as he pulled out dry clothes from Neil's bag.

From Doc's Homebrew Alphabet Meme!
Ache - how is their pain tolerance?  are they in any pain right now?  how are they likely to act when they hurt, physically or emotionally?  how would they react if they stubbed their toe?
Answered here!
Physically, yes - not naming any names but getting a finger bitten off will do that do you. Mentally, he's actually doing really well ("well" being subjective when one considers who they're talking about)
If it's physical hurt, he gets really weird and sexual about it, probably due to whatever wiring is busted in his brain. After a while he tends to completely ignore and neglect it and gets so melodramatic about ignoring it that it circles back around into making it into a big deal. When he's in emotional pain, if he even knows what that is, he gets real snippy and aggressive, but also clingy and insecure. Contrasts, baby
Probably like a drama queen and he'd throw whatever it was he stubbed his toe into to the ground. If it was something bigger than him, like a car or a building, he'd kick the hell out of it
Blood - how are they in a fight?  the weapon they would use, and why?  what would they do if they found a dead body?  what weapon would be best against them?
He's a scrappy fella who lacks grace but makes up for it in feral animal behavior - biting, kicking, scratching, anything's a goal if the intention is to hurt and it's not kinky. I mean, he does that stuff regardless, but he'll probably tell you that the only difference between a fight and a fuck is consent on both sides
Cleric's the weapon, though he'll use anything that's blunt or sharp enough. He also thought about carrying around wire so he could garrote people?? Damn weird smh
Depends. If it's his dead body, he'll clean the crime scene as best as all the true crime shows suggest and go about with his day. If it's not his dead body, he'd probably still be nonchalant about it and wait a little bit of time before calling anyone
Answered here!
Drive - what car do/would they drive?  do they obey traffic laws?  what mode of transportation would they choose otherwise?  do they have road rage?
He owns a couple, the car being a white '86 Toyota MR2. He also has a brown matte 2020 Husqvarna 701 Vitpilen. Style over substance, he doesn't particularly enjoy driving
Surprisingly enough, he does. All of his shenanigans are off the road, he likes to spend as little time on the road as possible (ironic given how much he's traveled lol)
A golf cart. Those can run people over without killing them and he has a lot of people he'd wanna run over
100% he does, but literally everything makes him mad depending on the day/weather/minour inconvenience that happened previously
Vanity - do they take pride in their appearance?  how do they dress normally, and how does it differ when they’re going somewhere nice?  post a photo or gif of them/their FC that you love but never get to use! do they have any piercings or tattoos?
He absolutely does, but it's fun for him because he doesn't think he has any bad angles, nor does he have the pride to be offended by attempted insults
Normally he dresses in one of two outfit styles - punk with the dark tank top and an overshirt (sometimes fishnet undershirts, torn jeans and belted boots by day, long sleeved dark shirts, intact jeans and more sleek boots by night. He always dresses like this and rarely dolls himself up to look "nice" because he thinks he always looks nice but he can be wrangled into appearing more "presentable" by day if it's the right (or wrong) person
Tumblr media
The man is coated in tattoos. Curiously though he has no piercings except for his ears, but he doesn't wear earrings. One of those "I don't want this to be used against me in case I get into a fight" scenarios

what about…the clones as people you’d see in the airport at 3pm on a tuesday*?
*assuming non-holiday week
This is ironic because next Tuesday I will be at the airport at 3pm on a work trip! Are you secretly my boss? 👀 If so, I deserve a raise!
Rex- Carrying coffee around for hours. Has probably hit starbucks 4 different times already and their wait time for their flight is only 2 hours
Echo- An oddly specific one. Blonde haired, messy bunned girl wearing a white t-shirt, black athetic shorts OR grey sweatpants, wearing birkenstocks, carrying a vera bradley backpack and a rolling bag, with her travel pillow hanging around her neck. I see them every time! Just pure absolute comfort
Fives- that one asshole sleeping on the ground with their legs sticking out and their hood up.
Jesse- Deer in headlights, first time traveler who has a PAPER TICKET with them. Bless these adults
Kix- The person whose phone is cranked up and they are talking and laughing loudly on it as they wander
Tup- no hesitation business traveler who has no problem running you over on the moving sidewalk to get to the business lounge.
Dogma- mentions to the clerk they have preboarding like 5 different times and asks to make sure they will be first to let on
Hardcase- the bachelorette party coming back from an extended weekend in Miami.. literally the worst flight experience of my life
Coric- The person running across 4 terminals with all of their belongings to catch their next flight because they thought flying into atlanta with only an hour between flights was plenty of time
Bly- the annoying couple walking in front of you slowly with their wheelie bags and holding onto one another. If you miss your flight because of them its totally okay to steal their wedding rings.
99- the airport worker in the golf cart. idk why, but hes always there
Cody- Flight attendants/pilots that are quickly shuffling around the airport to their next flight. they travel in a fucking pack
Waxer/Boil- Mom with a toddler who cannot keep them entertained. pushing them around the airport in a stroller, giving them constant snacks and toys, and having to watch them pick it up everytime their child throws it and cackles
Wolffe- The very tired customer service rep at the flight desk.
Boost/Sinker- Same as Kix BUT sitting next to you at the gate while waiting for your flight
Hunter- The dad who thought it would be cheaper to take a family trip in the middle of the week so him, his wife, and their five kids are going through checklists, looking at pamphlets, and talking while they wait to board.
Wrecker- The loud kid asking everyone questions and running all over the terminal while their parents just ignore it.
Tech- The dude sitting right in the middle of the outlet area near your gate and hogging the whole fucking table. I hate these guys
Crosshair- The group of people who bought plane tickets, but did not reserve their seats so they are now asking everyone at the gate if they will trade so they can sit next to their friends. No maam I paid an extra few $$ to pick my seat I will not trade you.
Omega- The influencer. Look, I love Omega but there is some serious influencer vibes there. selfies all over the airport
Howzer- the security guard that keeps following me around. I know I didnt do anything illegal but seeing the same one over and over again keeps making me second guess myself. like i dunno AM i actually smuggling drugs?
Fox- The group of guys sitting at the airport bar!
Gregor- The man with literally all the snacks. Seeing him at every convenience store in the airport (thats me)

This guide covers the essential gear every female golfer needs, including clubs, balls, accessories, and more.
Essential Women's Golf Equipment
The right gear can change the way you experience the game. Here are the must-have items for women golfers:
1. Golf Clubs: The Heart of Your Game
Golf club are arguably the most important part of your gear. When selecting womens golf clubs, it’s essential to choose equipment that’s lightweight and easy to swing. Here’s what to look for:
Drivers: A lightweight driver designed for women allows for a quicker swing, helping you achieve maximum distance. Brands like Callaway, Titleist, and Wilson offer some of the best options.
Fairway Woods & Hybrids: These clubs are perfect for shots from the fairway. Hybrids are especially useful for beginners as they are easier to hit.
Irons: Available in sets, women’s irons are designed to provide better control and accuracy for mid-range shots.
Putters: A solid putter helps with precision on the green, and the right one can make a significant impact on your score.
2. Golf Balls: Choose for Control and Distance
Golf balls are essential to your performance on the course. Women-specific golf balls are designed to enhance both control and distance with softer compression.
Callaway, Titleist, and TaylorMade offer excellent golf balls for women, allowing for better ball flight and accuracy.
Colored balls like pink or yellow also help with visibility, especially in low-light conditions.
Tumblr media
3. Golf Bags: For Convenience and Comfort
A golf bag should be lightweight and spacious enough to carry all your gear comfortably. Look for a bag with well-placed compartments for your clubs, balls, tees, and other accessories. Women’s golf bags often come in sleek designs that balance functionality and style.
4. Golf Shoes: Style Meets Comfort
Golf shoes are crucial for maintaining proper footing during your swing. Both spiked and spikeless shoes are available for women. Choose shoes that provide excellent grip and comfort, especially if you play for long periods. Waterproof shoes are a smart choice for rainy conditions.
Brands like Nike Golf, Puma Golf, and Adidas Golf offer stylish and functional footwear options that keep you comfortable and performing at your best.
5. Golf Clothing: Comfort for Long Rounds
Wearing the right golf clothing can make your game more enjoyable. Look for breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics to keep you cool during hot rounds. Flexible materials allow for unrestricted movement, ensuring comfort during every swing.
Polo shirts, skirts, trousers, and caps are all standard pieces for women golfers.
Don’t forget to add waterproof jackets and pants to your wardrobe for rainy days.
Accessories to Enhance Your Golf Experience
Once you've covered the basics, consider these accessories to elevate your game:
1. Golf Gloves: Grip and Comfort
A good golf glove enhances your grip, ensuring better control over your clubs. It also prevents blisters, especially during long rounds. Make sure the glove fits snugly without being too tight.
2. Golf GPS Watches and Rangefinders
Golf GPS watches and rangefinders help track distances to the hole, hazards, and other features of the course. These devices take the guesswork out of club selection and help you make more informed decisions on the course.
3. Trolley Accessories
Golf trolleys help carry your clubs with ease, especially on courses with long walks. Accessories like cup holders, scorecard holders, and storage baskets make it even easier to organize your gear.
4. Golf Towels and Head Covers
Keep your clubs in great condition by using towels to clean them after each shot. Headcovers protect your clubs from damage when not in use.
How to Choose the Right Women’s Golf Equipment
Selecting the right equipment for your game can be overwhelming, but here are a few simple tips:
1. Know Your Skill Level
Beginners may prefer a full golf set, which includes a driver, fairway woods, irons, putter, and a bag. More advanced players may want to customize their clubs for better precision and control.
2. Focus on Comfort
Comfort is key. Ensure your clubs, shoes, and bag are all lightweight and easy to carry. Pick clothes that fit well and allow for a full range of motion.
3. Consider Your Play Style
If you prefer power, choose a stiffer shaft for your clubs and a firmer ball. If you play more conservatively, opt for a softer ball and clubs designed for forgiveness.
4. Test the Equipment
Don’t just go by reviews. It’s important to test clubs, shoes, and balls in person. Visit a pro shop or a golf store with a fitting area to try different options before making a purchase.
Leading Brands in Women's Golf Equipment
Several top brands cater specifically to women golfers, ensuring you get the best in terms of technology and performance.

Puma Golf: Stylish and comfortable, Puma golf shoes are a top pick for women who want both performance and fashion.

Taking care of your golf equipment ensures it lasts longer and maintains its performance:
Clean your clubs after each round to remove dirt and grass. A clean club face ensures better contact with the ball.
Store your gear properly by keeping it in a cool, dry place to avoid damage from humidity or extreme temperatures.
Check grips and gloves regularly for signs of wear. Replace them when they start to feel slippery or lose their shape.
Use waterproof covers on your clubs and shoes during rainy rounds to protect them from water damage.
Why Investing in Women's Golf Equipment Matters
Investing in high-quality women’s golf equipment not only enhances your performance but also makes the game more enjoyable. Clubs tailored to your swing, shoes that offer comfort and stability, and accessories that improve your play all contribute to a better experience. From Sporty to Street-Ready: Casual Wear Ideas for Golf Shirts
Tumblr media
Golf shirts no longer only fit the golfing grounds. In this sense, this study investigates how easily men's short sleeve golf shirts and women's sleeveless golf shirts fit into regular attire. These shirts can be made to classify the variations between athletic performance gear and leisure sportswear, regardless of the occasion—a social event, weekend chores, or an office environment.
Why Golf Shirts Are Perfect for Casual Wear
Golf shirts are made from soft, lightweight fabrics which are comfortable enough. Here are a few of the top reasons they fit perfectly in casual wear:

How to Style Men's Short Sleeve Golf Shirts for Casual Looks
Golf shirts with short sleeves prove to be excellent for men as they can wear them with multiple casual dressing options. Here are some styles that can be adopted for effective styling:
With the Denim Jeans: A short sleeve golf shirt goes quite well when combined with dark jeans for a polished yet laid-back look.
With Chinos or Khakis: Lighter shades of chinos will make for an extra relaxed occasion that's perfect for brunches or evening meetups.
Under a Jacket: You can layer a golf shirt under a blazer or bomber jacket to make for a very smart-casual look.
Sneakers or Loafers: Add low-profile sneakers for casual comfort or loafers for a more elevated style.
Bringing Women's Sleeveless Golf Shirts to Casual Wardrobes
Women's sleeveless golf shirts are fresh in reflecting the ease of movement and chic style. Here are some ways to bring them to casual wear:
High-Waisted Shorts: Over them, it will give a chic athleisure look.
Leggings: Sleeveless golf shirts can be paired with printed or black leggings for an athletic look.
Layered with Cardigans: Putting on sleeveless golf shirts layered with lightweight cardigans is versatile enough for cozier evenings.
Scarves or Jewelry: One can pair these shirts with smaller accessories that might be suitable for relaxed parties.
Colors and Patterns
In changing their golfing short sleeve version for men into a casual sleeveless women's one, the color and pattern scheme in a golf shirt is again the obvious choice to consider.
Neutral Colors: Neutral colors such as white, black, gray, and navy blue make one shirt accommodating for pairing up with many casual-wear pieces.
Stripes and Patterns: Subtle stripes, checks, or other geometric patterns add a playful look to the shirts.
Bright and Bold Colors: Bright red, turquoise, or lime green colors reflect a lively feeling.
Simple logos: Simple designs that use small or discreet logos are easier to incorporate into casual wear.
Conclusion
Short sleeve golf shirts for men and women in sleeveless golf shirts can capture the sporty elegance and relaxed comfort that a wearer can be after. These can serve to dress up a person's ordinary look for casual or smart-casual occasions when dressed up accordingly. But with simple care practices, they can hold their form and functionality so that they stay as a staple in one's wardrobe for many years.
