Earlier this year I secretly lamented that I had not saved/transplanted any of the iris from the Hunter Road house before it was sold. Today I found the sweetest gift that could only have come from the Father Himself. Dwarf Crested Iris, in my favorite color. In our ten years here at the camp, these have NEVER made an appearance until this week. And not just anywhere, but right next to the RV! Lots of coming and going on the back bird feeder this morning. My favorite is the rare shot of the pair of red-bellied woodpeckers...I've never seen them together, much less on the feeder, before.
