Hero Forge has a new head editor that I'm finally playing around with, and new hairstyles.
So I've changed Enil and Jalon a little.

I might've added the BG3 Art Book to my dnd assets stash
It' 100% does not have things like the 5e players' handbook + 5eā€™s character sheet, several gm guides, critical role's explorer's guide to wildmount, baldur's gate and waterdeep city encounters, 101 potions and their effects, volo's guide to monsters, both of xanathar's guides, a bunch of other encounters, one shots, and class builds
In no way are there any pdfā€™s relating to any wizard who may or may not be residing on any coast
(Edit that Iā€™ve moved the folder to the new link above! So if you catch a different version of this post that link wonā€™t work anymore!)

I will likely never use it but now I want to make a grief domain cleric that's primarily for a healer's build...and uses a nerfed version of the banshee wail spell from pathfinder at higher levels.

It's looking like there's a growing divide between Campaign watchers and Tlovm watchers in terms of like. We're here for the characters. 12-episode seasons aren't. They can't be. I'm already making peace with everything we'll lose in the Mighty Nein show, and I know I will enjoy it for what it is but I also know that almost nothing that made the story so special will translate to the screen, because turning it into a show automatically means (in this day and age) that plot must be the number one priority. They've already come out and told us it's going to be different, the characters we know and love but new stories.
Because that's how this has to work. And I feel bad for campaign one lovers, because while it is certainly the easier of the two to translate to a big, overarching story, even though it's a more "traditional" high fantasy story with easier archetypal characters, the archetypes and the plot aren't what cemented most people's love for the campaign. So much of the love for critical role is stored in the interpersonal dynamics and the payoff that comes from hundreds of hours of tiny interactions that one day become cornerstones of development and even affect or dictate the plot.
There's no room for that. There's no room for Bard's Lament in a story that cannot afford to remove and replace a main character. A lot of tlovm is for people who have been here for all of campaign one. Most of it, however, isn't. It's for a new crowd. While CR may have creative control, you can bet your ass that there were months and years devoted to figuring out how to map a character-focused love of the show into a plot that hits the right beats to be viable in the show market.
And it worked. Tlovm has consistently high viewing numbers, and its popularity has brought and will continue to bring new people into the universe who have never interacted with CR previously. That's not a bad thing - imagine finishing your favorite show and discovering it has another FIVE HUNDRED HOURS of the equivalent of behind the scenes content. That's incredible for these newcomers. But man, it is in many ways a loss for us.

So I had a bad feeling that our DM would make Knashthra a creation of a Black Book and last night confirmed it and I can't decide if I want to kill him or not.

Iā€™m really really curious how Pikeā€™s arc is going to go in the next couple of seasons.
By this point in the campaign she was rebuilding the Everlightā€™s temple in Vasselhiem. Sheā€™d reconciled, working along side her goddess to help bring some worship back.
In the show, shes rejected her. She doesnā€™t wear her symbol around her neck anymore. We already had the reconciliation, Pike wasnā€™t forced to choose anything, only to be true to herself. But, after the conversation with Zerxus, sheā€™s rejected Sarenrae again.
Iā€™m so so curious where this is going later. Pikeā€™s relationship with the everlight is such an important piece of her character and has had a pretty significant impact as far as C3. Whatā€™s the plan for the show now? Pike seems to be of special blood, something the Whispered One needs for some purpose (as teased by Zerxus). Is pike going to need to make up with her goddess? Have we abandon her completely? Pikeā€™s powers donā€™t seem to have gone away?
Canā€™t wait for season 4.

is this overkill for a stupid silly iterator story? Yeah absolutely. But i meant to make a more simple map and got too into it... this isn't supposed to be 100% realistic but more give a general feel for the regions and Vibes

actually you know what
can we not tag Downfall as EXU: Downfall
this is a part of campaign three, not a separate series. this is critical to the storyline of this campaign. thereā€™s a reason its episodes 99, 100, and 101.
itā€™s not exandria unlimited.
itā€™s campaign three.
edit: YES itā€™s standalone, but it is inextricably linked into this campaign !! its still not exu ā€” both can exist!!!

Character Sheets and character creation ā†’
Tumblr media
When creating a character, thereā€™s a lot of questions you ask yourself. Whether itā€™s an original character or one youā€™ve been playing for a long time, using a character sheet to get to know your character better can always be a nice idea. With itā€™s help, youā€™ll be able to think about things you didnā€™t necesarily thought about, and ask some important questions to yourself that might activate your characterā€™s voice, or help you to get your muse back with them. Everyone has their favorite character sheets, some people prefer to have a lot of questions, some others like it a bit more vague, so hereā€™s a masterlist of the character sheets I found on various websites and found quite interesting, plus some other things that could be used to help you see, for example, how other character view yours.Ā
Blank Character Sheet (+370 Questions)
Abridged Character Sheet (100 Questions)
Big-Ass Character Sheet
Character Creation Form
Character Sheet by Jody Hedlund
Creating a character Bio Sheet
Character Analysis Worksheet
100 Character Development questions for writers
Create a Character Profile
Character Development Worksheet
Original Character Bio-Sheet
Character Chart for Fiction Writers
A Character Chart By Charlotte Dillon
Fiction Writerā€™s Character Chart
Detailed Character Sheet
Character Sheet Template
Character Twenty-Question Worksheet
In-Depth Character Sheet
Character Worksheet
Character Interview Sheet (First Person)
Background Questionnaire (First Person)
Characters Perceptions (How do other people perceive your character?)
With these sheets, you could also try to find your characterā€™s Jung and Enneagram Type or use the Moral Alignment tool. All of these things can be really useful to get a better grip on a character.
Then, if youā€™re trying to create a character, and do not have many ideas, or get stuck, Iā€™d suggest for you to roam around TVTropes, which gives you a lot of tropes used for character creation. Maybe you could try to mix a few of these and create an original character?
Or, if youā€™re a skillful writer and know how to make your character different from another, make a list of characters in fiction you happen to find interesting and why. Try to keep it short. Then, maybe, try to mix and match things from two or three characters, take a character and change their backstory, to see what would change. Play with them to inspire yourself and create something new, original and truly yours.
Oh, and hereā€™s a little guide to Mary-Sues and OCs, just in case you want to make sure your character isnā€™t going to become a Mary-Sue or a Gary-Stu
And last but not least, this article about building fictional character definitely seemed interesting to me, and is full of many other links that could guide you during the creating of your character and help you file one of these sheets.
