Viajando al pasado, en referencia a campañas sanitarias de hace casi mas de 80 años atrás.

"Para Recordar un poco de Historia..."

Desde El Estudio 1 de Prado Del Rey, se realizo, un sketch especial de la serie de Cartoon Network y Joe Murray "Camp Lazlo" (en español, El Campamento De Lazlo), donde el (Lazlo), explica tanto a Lumpus, como al publico sobre el Sorteo De "La Polla Chilena De Beneficencia" a beneficio de las campañas de prevención y de Los Operativos De Vacunación y Prevención de la Polio. Organizadas  conjuntamente por las animadas March Of Dimes (The National  Foundation For For Infantile Paralysis, NFIP), La Asociación Para  La Lucha Contra La Parálisis Infantil (ALPI) Y "La Fundación Nacional  Del Lisiado-National Foundation Of Clippled"(Animated's Telethon).

Durante ese sketch (grabado, en técnica de Animación 2D (en Video Tape), junto con las autoridades relacionados, se realiza en directo el sorteo.

La poliomielitis, o polio, es una enfermedad discapacitante y potencialmente mortal causada por el virus de la poliomielitis o poliovirus.

- Chef McMuesli (For The Love of Fucking God Please Help Me <- me after realizing i could write down literally every thing he says in the whole show in like an hour and one of the only actual starring episode he's in i have to put up a visual warning for)

- Lumpus & Edward (there's like several different dynamic iterations they could have, including: sucking up to authority, some kind of weird team-up involving ensuring lazlo's destruction, and edward eventually realizing Wow I Do Not Want To End Up Like This Pathetic Freak)

- Slinkman & Jane (childhood friends)

- Chef McMuesli & Nurse Leslie (lots of potential dynamics here but rn i specifically want leslie to think he's pretentious/annoying and kind of can't stand him)

- Chef McMuesli & Slinkman (urging slinkman to relax a little in a way that's vaguely homoerotic and nothing becomes of it but the tension is in the air anyway)

Chef McMuesli & Edward (Let's Go To Therapy!!! + "you know, i used to be a lot like you")

- Nurse Leslie & Raj (hypochondria episode)

- Edward & Gretchen (Hater Zone)

- Edward & Clam (must consult the experts on this one)

Pascal: Hello?...who is this?

Sita: Yo, Pascal. Can you come back to Veronaville super quick?

Pascal: I JUST got back home! And it turns out Lazlo is missing too, plus there's aliens camping in my house who refuse to give me any information about Sixam!

???: We were born and raised here! We don't know anything about Sixam!

???: Yeah! If we were from Sixam we wouldn't be fucking camping in your house!

Sita: Woah, they're super loud.

Pascal: Yeah, I know. I've only been back for an hour, but they're already driving me insane.

Sita: Okay, well...that does sound pretty bad, but...I'll help you find Vidcund and Lazlo if you help us with this. And we'll pay for your gas, too.

Pascal: You owe me way more than that.

Sita: Tracking down prisoners captured by a high ranking military officer such as the General and then proceeding to break them out of what's likely a maximum security prison takes a lot of effort, even for a psychic. Combined with Aktu's teleportation ability, you're going to want us both on your team.

Pascal: ...Fine. I'll meet you back in Veronaville soon.

The Knights of Order were a serious and determined bunch, but like with everyone else, they weren't without weaknesses. And in her attempt to scan the minds of everyone in Veronaville, Sita accidentally found out theirs.

Sana: I'm glad you're not mad at me for trying to stop you...even if we are on opposite sides, I do still see you as my sister.

Sita: Of course! There's no way I could be mad at my twin!...anyway, how's life? Got a girlfriend yet?

Sana: No...I don't think anyone would be interested, anyway. You were right about Nina and Dina, by the way...

Sita: (Right into my trap.) Aw, well...you can always find someone new. You know those Capp sisters? Goneril and Regan? They're recently divorced. Maybe you three can complain about your love lives together.

Sana: I guess I can...Regan and I talked for a bit at Hamza and Crystal's wedding, and she seemed nice...maybe I will! Thanks, Sita.

Sita: Of course! Anything to cheer you up!

Crystal: (Finally, I'm home...my head is killing me...)

Aktu: Greetings, Crystal.

Sita: Hello, wench.

Crystal: Ugh, you two. What do you even want, snitch?

Sita: Oh, nothing. I just wanted to thank you for trying to sabotage the Knights of Order from the inside, even if you were mostly unsuccessful.

Crystal: ...I only did it because I wanted some entertainment.

Hamza: Chrissy? You were sabotaging us?...and what happened to you? You're bleeding! Are you okay?

Aktu: (Let's teleport out of here before we risk having to talk to Hamza again.) Congrats again on the wedding, Crystal. I should probably go now.

Sita: (Agreed.) See ya, Chrissy!

While Sita and Aktu were dealing with Hamza and Crystal, Pascal's newfound presence had been noticed by the very person he wanted to see least.

Albany: (He's back...my dear Pascal has returned to Veronaville...)

Cornwall: Albany? Why are you using the telescope like that? The sky's upwards.

Albany: Oh! No reason! Just wanted to spy on...our bitch exes...

Cornwall: You're still not pointing the telescope the right way! You'd have to point it towards the north, not the west!

Albany: Yeah, yeah! Whatever!

Albany: (...I wonder why he's dressed like that...it reminds me of those old photos Goneril used to show me of-)

*DING DONG*

Consort: (As if Tybalt's death wasn't enough, I now have to deal with unwanted visitors...)

Consort: (Those guards weren't supposed to let that happen. I guess I got to check it out for myself...)

Pascal: Someone order a handyman?

Consort: (...He looks so much like Patrizio, back when we...)

Pascal: Well? I don't have all day.

Hermia: (Something's up with that guy, but I'm really not in the mood to deal with all of this today...)

Consort: ...Yeah, I did. Come inside.

*five minutes later*

Pascal: And that's the story of my first love. I'll never be able to get him back, but I can rest peacefully knowing that he's been avenged.

Consort: That's beautiful. I've lost my wife, too...to old age, but I can understand what the feeling of loss feels like. And my daughter and son-in-law were both murdered, so I understand the feeling of vengeance, too.

Pascal: (Our situations are not even REMOTELY the same! YOU caused the deaths of your loved ones!) Thank you, Consort. I can glad the patriarch of the Capp family is as kind as he is...handsome.

Consort: Oh, you flatter me.

Pascal: (And how is this plan even working?)

Meanwhile, Zoya was occupying herself with the new hologram tech she installed in the base of the Knights of Order as a celebration of "victory," unaware of what was going on with her siblings.

Tank: Zoya?

Zoya: Yeah? What's up, kiddo?

Tank: I was just wondering about...everything, really. What exactly are we fighting for now?

Zoya: Hm...not sure, actually. We may not have succeeded in restoring the story to normal, but I think the events are just going to run as they do normally. At this point, there's nothing we can do but sit and watch.

Tank: But there's got to be other things I can do, right?

Zoya: I think it's pretty too far gone. Ripp has already done a lot of damage to the story. Unless if you're a miracle worker, there's probably no way to get Romeo and Juliette back together.

Tank: ...

Zoya: And you haven't even talked to either of them. I don't know what exactly Aktu and Sita had in mind when they said they were going to use you for their plan, but I think General Buzz getting in the way probably helped them more than they realized.

Tank: Seriously?...well, I can be just as useful as Ripp! I'll find some way to fix the story, without your help!

Zoya: Sure! Go for it!

Zoya: (I feel like I struck a nerve...I should probably apologize to him later, once he calms down...hopefully he doesn't do anything drastic.)

I think it’s cool that the girl counterparts in Camp Lazlo still exist but they never actually push the characters together in a romantic way. Patsy obviously has a crush on Lazlo but her advances actually become less prominent as the series goes on and they never actually end up together. Gretchen and Clam is interesting because the one episode that even suggests they become a thing is a direct subversion of the real thing because they don’t actually like each other. They’re just suffering from an illness that basically has the effects of a love potion. I’ve heard there’s some dialogue between them in a video game but as for the main series, that’s as far as it gets between those two. And Nina and Raj hardly even interact. Nina does interact with Clam however, and when she does, they’re mutually playing the part/enjoying time together as siblings and it’s purely familial. Literally none of the characters end up together or get forced into m/f relationships just because it’s straight™️ and the show is better for it imo.

Anyway camp lazlo says aro rights.

Step Clam is an episode of camp lazlo!! Back in...I think 2017-18? I just really wanted a Clam related username (the character Clam) (this guy on the left)

So I went and looked at some EPs that have his name. There were like 2 of them and this was the shorter one that sounded Nicely Enough as a username and it just STUCK

Plus the ep itself is very sweet, It's about Clam pretending to be Nina's step brother since she doesn't have any siblings and feels outcasted cuz of it. Their dynamic is so fun I wish we saw more of it :")

Interests change over years but to me this url is kinda timeless even If its still related to a cartoon I like, It's less obvious that it is so it Works

En la sala de edición de video, con equipos AMPEX, El celebre director Garfield Badulaque Reyes (Mas conocido en el mundo como Garfield The Cat), se alegra felizmente del éxito de la transmisión del especial de 3 horas en Video-tape al ingeniero técnico Huevoduro, allá, en Lira 46.

En la imagen pequeña transmitiendo en el equipo de Videotape AMPEX, Aparece, en el Estudio C De Lira, Miriam Mendelsohn, dando el anuncio de cierre de transmisiones, vía video. En el estudio, Mir, como le decían sus amigas (Meilin, Priya y Abby) da lo que le dice el texto entregado para dar el anuncio de cierre.

En ella decía...   

- Muy bien, Señoras y Señores Telespectadores, al terminar este especial de fin de año o noche vieja, y con las palabras del Director General del Servicio, como de Las Cadenas y De La l'ORTF. Con estas imágenes, registradas en video, en  jerga del mundo de la industria de la  animación, en 2D. Finalizamos las transmisiones correspondientes por hoy 31 de Diciembre.

Al igual que todo el personal, les deseamos ante ustedes una muy buenas noches y buen 

feliz año"

Lo de la imagen de fondo en los monitores del equipo AMPEX de Video-tape, se debió a un rápido e imprevisto error técnico del camarógrafo por acercar mas el reflejo de la imagen y lo corrigió sigilosamente.

Después de eso, en los Mammouth Studios, na Lumiar, Tironi, como los demás autoridades felicitando a todo el personal por el éxito de la transmisión y registro integro del programa especial. Ademas, El Ministro de Información Y Turismo, Don Fraga Iribane, viaja al lugar, como a la sede de Calle Lira para felicitar personalmente por la hazaña. "Fue un éxito, la imagen salio, perfecta. en la Chusma, como en Los Mayos, Los Madrugas, El Norte y El Cómic y Concepción, la recepción, fue excelente". El decía.

Al rato, en Orchid Bay, en casa, Ophelia Ramírez, en su calidad de realizadora y directora del especial, con el televisor dando el cartel de cierre de transmisión, recibe la llamada de larga distancia nacional, proveniente de la capital, en esa sorpresiva llamada, Tanto Fraga como Tironi Arce la felicitan por el logro de la transmisión. Luego Lee, la felicita también.

Ojo:

Para esa noche, en la transmisión, Garfield, se llevo al lugar una enorme cantidad de comida chatarra.

Genuinely if you are someone who loves early / classic spongebob i HIGHLY recommend camp lazlo. Its a ton of the same team working on it so its not only comedically similar but visually simular, auditorially similar (they even use the same sound bank so a lot of the same bgm from spongebob is present!), its artstyle is visually similar, and the voice cast has TOM KENNY AND DR LAWRENCE who voice a TON of the characters

I’d recommend it too if you’re interested in anything like this: shows about kids having fun and hanging out (ed edd & eddy, phineas and ferb, big city greens), shows with relentlessly optimistic leads (spongebob again, wander over yonder), and shows with a very gay “bad guy” + henchmen duo (kirby right back at ya, the simpsons, wander over yonder [double points for double tom kenny])

Idk why this show is so largely forgotten now, it’s got the hysterical humor of early spongebob including some great stuff that they kind of phased out like using real images within the show + it has the benefit of beinf on CN instead of Nick which allows a little more leeway in creativity in some ways.

The cast of characters is incredibly solid, as the shows been progressing more and more of the supporting cast have been getting episodes where we get to take a further look into them and develop them more, and even the characters that don’t serve a role beyond being the background characters still end up hilarious and taking on more of a role as the show progresses.

Also i know this is a low bar but like Can we talk about how well executed the Squirrel Scouts are? Like they’re normal ass camp girls. They like playing in mud and unicorns. Nina loves sci-fi Patty is a hopeless romantic and Gretchen has anger issues. And they all love high adreneline camp girl scout shenanigains. They’re NORMAL ASS GIRLS!!! Like yes the bar is low for me to be saying like YAY FHEY WERENT MISOGYNISTIC but like its such a refreshing thing to see especially in 2000s cartoons. A lot of time girl characters in shows in this era just feel like The girl characrersand thats it but theyre allowed to have varied interests and act like actual kids do.

Actually like for a 2000s cartoon CL is pretty good about gender roles and stuff. The only one who cares thaf Edward has a doll is himself. No one even makes fun of him for it they even plau with her too!! But hes just self concious and toxicly masculine so hes ashamed. And the joke of eds benedict never is “haha he cant lay an egg hes a boy” no one even questions that part until the end and at the end its not even hahah hes a boy its Haha slinkman and lumpus have jusf been asked how sex works by the campers. And when they all dress up as girls in that one episode and everyone hypes edward up…. Like i think part of it is hinestly bc of lazlos overwhelming positiveity that it would be hypocritical if they werent being nice about all thaf kind of stuff Bc Lazlo doesnt xare. He loves everyone

Sorry for this long ass oost at 1 am about camp lazlo i forgot most of my medication today intil 9 pm’ (usually take it in the morning) and i skipped my adhd pill compeltely btu like i am crazy hyperfixating on CL right now . Need thoughts put somehwere

Btw if you want testament to how fucking good camp lazlo is i am the WORST at sitting down and wafching shows allnthe way throigh on my own without other people yet ive already madenitnto season THREE of camp lazlo eithin a week . Mind you it took me ofer a year to finish the second arc of death note and im still on like epsidoe 12 or 13 of yugioh . And ive larwadh finished TWO ENTIRE SEASONS OF CAMP LAZLO

2. Speaking of Animating Camp Patsy, The Animation for It Needs to Look Exactly Like the Animation in the Original Show (Camp Lazlo) & Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling.

3. All of the Squirrel Scouts in the Spin-Off Need to Sound Exactly Like Themselves in Camp Lazlo & I Need People Who are Females on the Internet Who Can Do Their Impressions of the Squirrel Scouts (Including Suzie, Rachel, & Terrifield).

6. Patsy, Nina, Gretchen, Jane Doe, Almondine, Amber, Honey, Suzie, Toodie, Rachel, Terrifield, & All of the Other Squirrel Scouts That I Just Mentioned All Need to Be Mermaids in This Spin-Off. Speaking of Jane Doe Herself, She Needs an Acorn Flats Uniform & a Purple Mermaid Tail Underneath her Skirt While the Other 28 Squirrel Scouts All Need to Have Mermaid Tails That Have the Same Color as Their Skins (Except Chrissy).

7. Mrs. Mucus & the Bean Scouts are Not Allowed in This Spin-Off (Except for the Parts Where One of the Squirrel Scout Mermaids Jump Out of the Sea), Don't Add Them in Camp Patsy, Unless If There's a Part Where Either Mrs. Mucus or the Bean Scouts Appear Where One of the Squirrel Scout Mermaids are Out of the Water (Including Patsy, Nina, & Gretchen).

8. The Backgrounds for the Acorn Flats Need to Have Live-Action Saltwater Footages When the Squirrel Scouts are Under the Sea. But When the Squirrel Scouts aren't Under the Sea, The Backgrounds on Dry Land Need to Be in Cartoon Form.

9. Sexual Content is Also Not Allowed in This Spin-Off Because It's a Kids Show.

10. Adult Words are Not Allowed in This Spin-Off as Well Because Like I Said, It's a Kids Show.
