This question made Camilo wonder more about what stars are, as he had initially thought they were merely lights in the sky. But when he sees you, he thinks it means more; with all the constellations in the sky, he thinks you can show him more.

"I used to believe as a child that one day I would reach up into the sky and touch the stars. 'Sweetie, one day you'll find someone who can carry you up and the stars above,' Mamá would say. She was convinced that the stars were destined to meet someone special." "Do you think that as well?" you asked Camilo, your eyes twinkling with adoration. He was speechless and didn't know what to say. The twinkle in your eyes, the way he looks at you, shows complete admiration. It felt so good to be here with you, and he appreciated the peacefulness. Why is it that you know how to pull his heartstrings.  

"Did you find anyone?" Camilo inquired, his voice tinged with sense of wonder. He wasn't sure what 'someone who would lift you up to reach the stars' represent. Thus made him more curious than ever. 

"I used to never believed what mamá told me, maybe she wanted me to be happy once I grow up. But actually now I believe what mamá said was true ." You returned your gaze to Camilo, you noticed that his heart was beating as you approached his face. "Have I ever told you that...you're pretty? T hat it's even more breathtaking than the sky above us." From what you said, that was his cue to turn bright crimson. You giggle at his reaction, and you hate to admit it, but you have new feelings for the boy in front of you. Every day, he manages to make you grin or feel shy.

It's now your turn to repay the favor.

"I thank my lucky star for guiding me here, traveling through all of the constellations we can see. Every night, under a sky full of adventures, I used to wonder if I would ever meet someone to raise me up. However, the stars did guide me to someone. They illuminate my path and lead me to someone I'd never met before with whom I might share similar ideals. And I have the ability to lift them up to the stars above us." Your hands extend up into the sky, as if grabbing the puddle of stars that surrounds the sky. Bringing it up to your chest. Camilo glanced at you puzzled but with genuine interest, his curiosity killing him and wondered who that person could be as you closed your eyes to finally feel this moment. Somewhere in his head, he hoped it was him, that he was the one who could be lifted to the stars.

"Who did it lead you to?"

"It brought me to you. Of course, it's amusing, but it brought me to you, and I'm grateful for that." Butterflies swarm his chest, giving his face a deeper shade of crimson than before. He couldn't believe what he was hearing and couldn't tell if it was true or not. But he could tell you were serious by the look on your face, and he couldn't help but smile.

"Mi estrella," you said lovingly. As you cup his cheeks with your delicate hands, you say. You were overjoyed that he was your lucky star, a star that is extremely hard to come across, and that you were the one who had discovered it. He can't be replaced by anybody else. 'Mamá was absolutely right when she said I'd find them....' You thought to yourself as you gave Camilo one final loving gaze, and he couldn't help but give you a hug filled with profound affection. It made you feel special since you could feel his heart beating.

"I love you, mi estrella," you whispered, your head resting on his shoulder. And when you raise your eyes to the sky once more, you notice that your lucky star is no longer alone.

So firstly, this probably goes without saying but sweet jebus Camilo loves loves LOVES it when you play with his hair

So let’s say you’re sitting on a chair or couch or whatever and he’s chilling on the ground between your legs while you guys watch a movie or show and suddenly, just bc it looks so fluffy, you reach out and let his hair

First time you do it he tilts his head all the way back to look quizzically at you and you apologize but he’s like “no no no- do it again”

And you do and he sighs happily and puts his head back down. As you get more comfortable with it and roam your fingers across his scalp and lightly tug at the soft curls he dam near starts purring

And when you do the gentle little scratchy thing on his scalp????

His body oozes with pleasure. I’m talkin shoulders slumping, muscles relaxing, he probably goes kinda dead-weight. When he relaxes his neck his head kinda flops either to the side or backward. So either into your lap or against your knee or thigh.

He can be pretty vocal about it too, like a heavy but content sigh, or really long hum, or praises

Ooo and when you play with his hair just the right way it’s all of the above. Camilo just- he l o v e s when you play with his hair.

I mean it’s a sacred thing ofc, this is Camilo Madrigal we’re talking about, but he trusts you and loves you so do whatever you want with his hair! :D

Although, as heavenly as all this sounds, there is a matter of the knots you will undoubtedly come across. Holy cripe they can be awful. But if you’re handling them it’s all good bc you do them gently. And if you accidentally pull a little too hard it’s very quickly forgiven and forgotten bc you make up for it with kisses.

It’s also fun to put Camilo’s hair up in buns, braids, etc… if you’re up for a challenge. As soft as his curls are they are STUBBORN AF. So it might be a little bit of a workout but he looks so GODDAMN C U T E with his little floof-bun sitting on the top of his head the sweat was 100% worth it.

Space buns on Camilo look like mouse ears no matter where you put them and it’s gotta be the cutest thing you’ve ever had the honor of laying eyes on. Seriously it’s so wholesome and pure you don’t think you’re worthy of such a sight

But then he takes them out bc he wants you to keep playing with his hair :)

Has anyone done like Gift Break AU?

Like each character has a gift, but there are some limits with each of them if they're used too much or not used properly

Like: i.e., Isabela has the flower gift. If she uses it too much, she'll start growing thorns out; large thorns.

Camilo has shapeshifting. If he uses it way too much, he can get some sort of physical damage to themself.

Pepa has weather. If she gets too stressed, her thunder will start blasting at everyone around her, including herself when she doesn't mean it.

Luisa has strength. If she carries too much all in one time, she can start feeling nauseous and her muscles structures can start feeling numb or painful.

Bruno has future visions. He uses it too much, it could cause serious brain damage and shittons of nose bleeding. (I'm sorry Bruno ilysm)

Dolores can hear many things. She can easily get hearing damage from whatever the fuck is going on and she can't do anything to prevent it. (Unless if she had some sort of earmuffs)

Julieta can heal people by cooking. She can't really hurt herself here, but she has to be quick and careful. If too late, the pain can be temporary long to heal. If not careful, that can make the person sick.

Antonio can talk to animals.

I don't even wanna put Antonio there, he's a sweetheart.

Mirabel doesn't have a gift. But that doesn't mean she's safe either. She tries to calm someone down but ends up getting hurt herself.

What's worse, Alma doesn't realize that their gifts have consequences. She loves them, but puts chores over health.

You had remained in Camilo's embrace for about five minutes, but you never ever wanted it to end. He was so… warm, and sweet, and he smelled nice, and- oh dear god you were starting to sound psychotic.

You almost jumped out of your skin when you heard his voice next to your ear.

"Are you gonna tell the rest of la familia?"

You hesitated for a moment, thinking of what to say, before pulling away from him and gazing into his hazel eyes.

"Yes, but I don't know how. I'm gonna need your help."

Camilo grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief and enthusiasm.

"Well, amor, I have just had the best idea ever."

"This is the worst idea ever."

Camilo groaned, his face buried into his pillows. You were standing at the foot of the bed, hands on your hips and bedazzled in purple, pink and blue sequins via a jacket and some knee-high boots.

"It's your flag!" Camilo had claimed, "Y'know, the bi flag colours!"

At the time you had smiled and laughed it off, but you were starting to feel a bit sick at the glitter covering your body.

"For the record I thought it would be fabulous."

"Yeah, and you're also the one who tried to get Dolores to confess to Mariano by shifting into her and falling down the stairs, to which he didn't catch you and you just fell on your face!" Camilo pointed an accusing finger in your direction.

"Mirabel's idea!"

You sighed, shrugging the jacket off your shoulders and removing your shoes. Grabbing the hairbrush from his bedside table, you gently brushed through your hair to remove any knots, before going to sit by Camilo on the bed.

"I appreciate your effort, mi corazón, but maybe me coming out to your family would work better if I was just… myself."

He turned to look at you, adoration swimming in his eyes.

"You're right." He sat up and held your hands in his. "Are you gonna do it at dinner tonight?"

You let out a nervous laugh, leaning into Camilo's touch. "Might as well, you only live once right?"

At that very moment and time, you felt like you were going to throw up. You had just announced to The Family Madrigal that you were bisexual, and there was not a sound in the room except the gentle clatter of knives and forks.

That was, before a bright light caught your attention. You snapped your head up to see a large sun growing above your mother-in-law's head, perfectly matching her large grin.

"That's wonderful darling! I'm so happy for you!"

Dolores smiled at you from across the table, her cheeks glowing red.

The rest of the family acted just as nicely as Camilo had told you they would be.

Julieta and Agustin told you that they would accept you no matter what your sexuality was. The older woman even snuck a few arepas on your plate in congratulations.

Luisa wouldn't stop smiling at you for the rest of the night, constantly telling you how cool you were.

Antonio, starry-eyed and a little confused, told you that you were still awesome, even if you were a bicycle. Oh well, he'd learn eventually.

Félix proposed a toast for you, even offering to let you have some wine, to which Pepa cut him off with a stern glare.

Bruno just nodded awkwardly, patting your shoulder and saying 'Good on you, kid.' more than a few times. You were a bit anxious at this at first, but Mirabel assured you he meant well and was just a bit socially-awkward.

Abuela was, albeit, rather perplexed, but she promised you that she would always appreciate you for you and that your sexuality did not change the wonderful person you were.

The night ended far too quickly for your liking, and you and Camilo headed off to his room, your fingers intertwined. Once you were ready for bed and comfortable underneath the warm covers, you felt Camilo's arms snake around your waist and pull you closer to him.

You were rather drowsy, so you couldn't make out everything he was saying, but when he pressed a kiss against the crown of your head and mumble something against your hair, you could hear six words.

"-so proud of you, mi vida."
