being in the Encanto fandom is like “oh my god, I love these two characters and their dynamic together is sooo good” and they have never once interacted in the movie and you are just feeding on the amazing fan content

I've seen so many posts about Bruno and Mirabel from Encanto, but none on this blog about Mirabel and Camilo! Their part during We Don't Talk About Bruno is so soft, how he twirls her around then catches her and gently sets her back on her feet. Then when the house is collapsing, how he is desperately trying to reach her to help her, and when his powers fail he looks so scared. And during the end song, how soft he looks at her?? The wiki even says that Camilo is the most sweet and gentle with her in the family. Like don't get me wrong, BruMira is a good ship, but y'all're SLEEPING on CamiMira!(same CamiMira anon) Also also! Since Peppa and Julietta are triplets, by DNA Camilo and Mirabel are not just cousins, they are basically half-siblings!!

In a family that close, cousins are more than regular cousins, I completely agree. Mirabel and Camilo has loads of cuteness and I love to imagine a grown Camila appreciating how much Mirabel loved him and looked after him.

I think Mirabel seems older than she's supposed to be, but in a few years, the age difference between them would hardly be anything and there's lots of potential. What applies to all of Mirabel's ships applies here: she doesn't have a canon love interest and that leaves things wide open.

The year is 2034, the ice caps are melting but we finally got Encanto 2— forcibly called Encan2 by Disney. They kicked Jared bush off the project due to creative differences (he didn’t do what the Disney overlords asked of him)

Before the film came out Disney tried to purchase the entire country of Colombia. It did not work.

The film takes place five years into the future. Everyone is heterosexual. The plot is a gift swap and the OG songwriters have been replaced with all the song writers for ‘Wish.’ Alma dies at the end. Mirabels only character trait is ‘girlboss.’ Camilo finally gets some attention from the narrative but his only character trait is “I like a girl.” And nothing else happens expect for him liking a girl. Isabela and Dolores have five kids each.

Luisa also dies on screen too because the writers forgot how to write strong female characters so this was the alternative.

At one point Antonio looks into the camera and goes, “erm, he’s right behind me isn’t he?”

There is no god. Encanto 3,4,5 and 6 are announced right after.

The Cousins Discuss Some Gossip

Happens after this. The Madrigal cousins discuss about Chepe and in the end Camilo tomfoolery scares Bruno lol. God this comic took so long lol because of the amount of detail I like to put in.

Due to the fact that when I was on vacation, my younger cousins watched this cartoon several times a day, I got into it and was inspired by it. And I also fell in love with Luisa and her relationship with Mirabelle (it was just so nice; the eldest is a big, gentle and caring sister and her younger sister, who supported her during a difficult time). Which brings different ideas for this character to my mind. >.< I'll probably make a few more drawings, but I'm not sure that the Incanto theme will be for a long time. :3
