Revisiting our relationships with the plastics already in our homes, can be a great start to reimagining a future with less waste. I pulled out my hielera (cooler) and it instantly reminded me of my family and community and how they are already climate warriors in so many ways. I will use it more in their honor and for our future generations. #Repost @culturestrike ・・・ This #EarthDay, let’s come together to #EndPlasticPollution! Approximately 91% of plastic is never recycled. Bringing a cooler to work instead of unnecessary plastic packaging reduces the amount of plastic waste that litters the Earth, making for healthier communities and a healthier planet. The solutions already exist in our communities. #RiseTogether for #ClimateJustice. Photo by @camilleseaman. Design by @lexx_valdez.

@CamilleSeaman for @icp | All things being interconnected with Polar Regions warming at an alarming rate what influence might we expect to our temperate zones? More moisture plus warmer global average temps mean the potential for more and more severe weather. I've been chasing storms for over eight years now. This image is of part of a Super cell in Kansas 2008. #camilleseaman #climatechange #icp #photography #supercell #stormchasing #weather #clouds

Camille Seaman is known for her dramatic images of icebergs that reveal the beauty of these ancient yet threatened objects. Since 2008, she has focused on producing powerful images of storm clouds brewing throughout the Midwest, in what she considers an extension of her iceberg work.
Brilliant captures! Nature is so powerful.

Blue underside revealed. Kongsfjord Svalbard. I have seen many blue icebergs in my times at the poles. Every now and then I get to watch an iceberg roll over completely exposing a side of itself that was hidden beneath the sea. Like an ice cone with blue syrup the color is achieved as a result of intense pressure and refraction. #blueice #ice #blue #arctic #polar #iceberg #meltingaway #melting #svalbard #camilleseaman #photography #explore #climatechange by camilleseaman http://ift.tt/2579I5d
